very very engaging, fun and bustling night market!! loads of delicious food stalls, although food options are similar to other taiwanese local night markets, the stall owners are very friendly and welcoming despite being busy. fried mushrooms, 蛋饼 amongst others are very very delicious and recommended!😆 would surely come back for more!

Fengjia Night Market 逢甲觀光夜市😋👍 Fengjia Tourist Night Market (also known as Wenhua Road Night Market) is a well-known large-scale commercial night market located around Fengjia University in Xitun District, Taichung City, Taiwan. Fengjia Night Market, located next to Fengjia University, is the best night market to visit in Central Taiwan. It includes daily necessities, three C products, various delicious snacks, matching clothes, good shopping and delicious food. If you drive there, you can park at Fuxing Road Stop at Fuxing, and you can walk to the entrance of the night market in 3 minutes. The "Devil Chicken Chop" at Booth D9 at No.71 Wenhua Road is highly recommended. ), there are quite a lot of fans of Minglun egg, the queue is long, the Japanese boat octopus dumplings are also a must-eat at the Fengjia night market, there are other lazy shrimp, crispy stinky tofu, ancient rice ice cream, It is a must-taste! Most shops start around 5pm to late at night. They are very lively. Food, clothes, accessories and even daily necessities can be bought in the Fengjia Night Market business district. They are delicious and fun. The whole Taiwan is the best and most creative. All the food in Taichung originated from Taichung. It is the right thing to come to Fengjia. It will give you an unprecedented night market experience.

First time to this night market. It’s quite accessible by bus from town, but bus can be a bit held up by traffic. There’s a long stretch right outside the university and some more stalls down the main road. So don’t forget to check them out. Had several snacks in the market: 1. Crispy spring onion pancake 2. Guan Zhi Lin sausage in glutinous rice (大肠包小肠) 3. Grilled corn cob 4. Lemonade with Aiyu jelly 5. Sweet potato balls small 6. Egg roll pancake Literally everything is very delicious, and all under NT$100 each. There’s a large crowd on a Thursday already so I guess it will be more packed over a weekend. Do visit this great night market, it’s 1 of the more enjoyable ones I’ve been to so far in TW

Absolutely delicious food! We'll set out and easier to navigate than other night markets. Could easily go there every night to eat. Very happy Aussie tourist!

Quite a crowd on Saturday night. First of all parking is not so easy to get around here, even so, quite a walking distance but it's normal I supposed. What we had: 1. honey potato, quite slow with moderate queue, but the syrup coating is too sticky with the teeth. 2. Juice stall, not quite friendly owner as he gave us a look when we choose to share our drink 3. Fried mushroom owner , super unfriendly and rude. It'll be the last time for me. Food taste are slightly under expectations..

Such a HUGE night market with abundance choices of food, stores, and beverages. You can find anything here, even medicines, hotels, apparels, and of course, food and beverages. Whenever you see a kiosk with a queue, I highly suggest you to try it, at least once. This will be extremely time consuming (of course) but 9/10 in my experience, it'll be worth the wait and worth the price to pay. Price point here is moderate, not too much (although there are some expensive ones compared to other night market) but averagely worth what you pay. With so many choices, it's impossible not to find anything you'll like!

Dropped in as a pit stop to rest from Taichung to Taipei. Reached at 1130pm and quite crowded. Fruits, sesame chicken, beef and oyster mushrooms are among the popular food choices. Have seen other food choices like omelette, seafood, fried chicken cutlets etc. Clothes standards have dropped after covid-19. But still a nice place to enjoy the night market atmosphere.

Feng Chai is the main night markets in Taichung. Good street food and snacks not to be missed. Apart from that, there are a lot of shop for clothing and electronic shops.

We prefer this night market over any night Market in taiwan. It has many things to buy and to Eat, with so many people but not as packed. Which is GREAT! But please do not buy the deep fried octopus from the stall we bought below (shown in the picture), it is HORRIBLE.

The actual street is not very long. Start to finish maybe around 15 mins if you pace your walk and don’t stop. But a lot of good food. In the middle of the night market there’s the spilt road, do try some food from that street. Otherwise, it’s a little like any other night markets.

The night market is large with a wide range choice of food. The food price is cheaper than other local night markets in Taichung. The grape coated by sugar is extremely good. You can also play many games, and buy stuffs in this night market. There are many restaurants in this area too. I will definitely come back this night market again the next time I visit Taichung.

Full of people especially tourist. Walking through the narrow streets with stalls at both sides. Of course the shops along the road adds to the many interesting colors especially the many types of ‘pick up toys’ games for kids. My nephew spend So much time playing at the machines as there are So many types of toys to choose.

A famous traditonal night Market with wide roads to walk. Only caution is roads are still open to vehicular traffic till 6pm and some inconsiderate motorbikes are riding at excessively dangerous speeds. So do pay attention. Good mix of food, plentiful choices of traditional night market food, chicken, squid, pig blood cake, pancakes, etc etc. Also has alot of games for playing.

A little far out from the city centre, but there so many good food options! Seaside Republic 海边小屋 with the clams I'd recommend! The takoyaki balls too, along with the usual suspects e.g. fried chicken etc.

2nd time visited this night market. It was slightly different from 8 years ago. However, it's still a better experience compared with Xi Ning and Rau Her Night Market we visited in Taipei during this trip. Perhaps the weather is good and there is no rain. The vibe, ambience, type of food, and walking street are more enjoyable. A lot of young people and family with kids. Food generally costs 50NTD to 100NTD. Highly recommended food to try: 1) Guava, especially the pink type. 2) Charcoal Grille Fish (碳烤香鱼) 3) Japanese Mochi grille

Amazing night market rows and rows of streets food & shops selling all sorts of stuffs. Very nice to stroll along and soak in the atmosphere. Place crowded with local and some tourists after COVID reopening. 章魚燒小丸子Takoyaki at the entrance of the Fengjia night market is a must eat, super crispy on the outside and soft & fluffy inside. Onion scallion pancakes at the end of the street is also a must eat, crispy and chewy with many toppings for you to try. Most street food starts from NT50 for a small portion which is great for trying out different food varieties. Also many tea shops offering various tea and fruit drinks for you to dank down along all the food you have tried out. Great place to visit to enjoy TaiChung night life.

The biggest night market I have visited in Taiwan. There are a variety of foods from soup, fried, stir and noodles, you have more options to choose the foods you wanna eat. Special food I would like to recommend is "sweet fried potato", it is extremely good. Should spend more time to visit all shops here so enjoy your whole night time here ^^

📍Taiwan (Day 1) @ Feng Chia Night Market, Taichung My first time stepping foot in Taiwan was with Michelle and my two younger siblings. We just had to experience the famous NIGHT MARKET culture, where long rows of Taiwanese snacks and BOBA would assail our senses. True enough, we ventured into Feng Chia Night Market, Taichung. It was a hodgepodge of colourful lights, lively traders, varied delicacies for the tongue and of course, not forgetting perhaps the best Bubble Milk Teas ever! What an incredible experience, and the perfect way to start our holiday in Taiwan. We slept soundly that night because of the travel fatigue, and of course, tummies filled with Taiwanese delights.

Although inside the night market has those nice food, the ones that sells similar food outside the night market taste much better. Always go outside the night market if you want to eat properly cooked and tasty delicacies.

Many street food here. Not managed to take all food photos but there are many kinds. Fried sweet potato balls, braised porks, milk tea, takoyaki, stinky tofu, egg roll, even fresh cut fruits you can find them here. Clothes, phone accessories etc are sold in this market too. Definitely worthy to visit when in Taichung.

1st time came over to this night market, which many people tell me a must to go when in taichung. However, the night market size and food quality can't compare with taipei. Price I feel is still tourist price. However, taichung not much place to go in the night, so just visit if you don't want to stay in your hotel room and watch TV.

The only worth to eat is this beef stall. Very tender. Overall this night market has many shops but I will not recommend for shopping as you may find better shopping spots elsewhere. Food nothing much but this food stall attracted me becoz the boss is patience and indeed the beef are delicious.

Our hotel is near this night market so when there for 3 days. Lesser stall for weekday but very crowded on weekend. Recommend to go on weekends because there will me more options to choose from. Many streets there (not only their main streets) as there are many short street with stalls as well. Sweet potato ball is a must try there. Some of their food is a little bit too oily for me but overall taste good.

Feng Chia Night market has lots of food stalls. The pancake at the juncture smells good and is crispy. Lots of bubble tea store. We also managed to buy taiwan tibits from a shop that sold assorted tibits by weight to share with friends. They also have free balloon for kids (if you buy their tibits) There is also many shops selling clothes and other stuff around the night market near the Feng Jia University but many closed by 8pm.

Unfortunately, the day we went there was raining. But I’ll still give it a 5 star because it’s very vibey. Visited by the locals. Didn’t manage to try their food though so I can’t comment on that but their Photo Booth is cute. They also have a lot of clothes shop. Price point relatively okay.

Under-whelming experience. Food street is mainly outdoor, while shops selling accessories and gadgets are located indoors as well as outdoors. Crowd is not as large as expected. Interesting concepts like the drum sticks stall and barbecue oysters. Found an IT store that sells iPhone case for NT39 only.

Awesome night market that is large enough to explore! From shopping to eating to gaming to drinking to hanging out. Recommend the takoyaki, minglun egg roll, glutinous sausage & taiwanese sausage, sweet potato ball, stinky tofu, grilled king oyster mushroom, oven baked pancake, cooked clams, etc. Sadly, the grilled "massage" chicken is no longer as popular nor mind-blowing anymore. Down everything with a bubble tea or more from the multitude of bubble tea stalls! Everything opens till late! There are no more rubbish bins located anywhere anymore! Can kindly ask the next stall to help you dispose of the trash when you make your next purchase!

nice night market! EXTREMELY crowded, granted that i went on a saturday. there are a wide variety of foods, the potato balls and marshmallow ice cream were great! definitely come here on an empty stomach and full wallet! the toilets are located at the end of the night market, and it takes a while to get there due to the slow moving crowd.

Best night Market in Taiwan as there was good space around the market to walk about compared to narrower markets. Downside is that there could be cars and motorbikes rather going alongside pedestrians. Try the different street food around and save some time for shopping.

Exactly what's expected at an Asian night market. Fun, packed, and cheap. Be aware of long lines for stalls that's got some fame though. Lines can take up to 20 minutes for some foods. Great for group outing. Don't expect parking. Take an Uber or have someone drop you off.

It's very lively, many food stalls and store! Great stuff! It was a little bit hard to find a place to throw the trash and it was overly crowded (I went on the weekend) overall, a very nice place to go to and a great night market experience!

Small but famous night market in Taichung, but super delicious street food here. The best food of whole my trip in Taiwan. Cheap. Wanna be back one day to enjoy again.

Very out of the way, but a must visit. This place is so happening on a weekend night, with food and gift shops sprawling all over. Around 20min taxi ride from HSR station, costing $300. There’s so much to explore, and you need at least one full evening to cover the entire place.
