Advantages: 1. Their employees are friendly and polite. 2. The rooms we stayed are spacious. It's suitable to take a trip with your family or friends. 3. We are surprised to have snack to enjoy when we arrived there at 15:00. Their cakes and biscuits are tasty. 4. The environment is comfortable. You could smell crisp air in the forest. Disvantages: 1. It's pity that some of the food did not agree with me. For example, the eel rice is a little bit salty for me. Maybe, it's no need to add more soy sauce on the rice. Anyway, we had a great time with my family. If you have a chance to visit here, you could give the hotel a try.

Clean room and nice staffs Beautiful place!

The staff were extremely warm and friendly check-in was very easy. Both breakfast AND dinner were provided and the food was very good! The room was very nice and spacious. The only downside was that there was no Aircon in the 2nd floor rooms (it should be cooling enough at night with the windows open, but we could not open them as the mosquito net was broken).

Rooms were modern and relatively clean. However, some rooms were not air conditioned and it might be hot during summer. Windows had many insects

Booked two nights at Chanshuo to climb Yushan. Would not recommend the location as Highway 21 is closed during night (Nov 2023). The hotel itself was a big disappointment: - Booked dinner, but it was cold and unchewable. Ended up buying noodles at 7/11 instead - No wi-fi reception in the room (unbearably slow and dropping out every minute) - Shower needs 10-15 minutes before water gets warm - No shower curtain so the whole floor gets wet - Latest breakfast entry was 08.30 which was early - Loud machines in the park outside started working at 07.30 - Hotel not helpful with our questions about transport back from Yushan
