A nice place to see contemporary art and free admission. There is not a lot on exhibit, it took me about an hour to walk through. A nice cafe at the entrance, fountain square and many restaurants within walking distance.

This was... interesting. Contemporary art is usually quite political and the messages the artists are trying to share usually go over my head. And that was the case here with much of the artwork. And yet, there were a number of pieces that I did enjoy. And certainly the venue is tremendous. As it's free, I would recommend you visit. You might get more out of it than I did.

It was a very interesting experience. I loved some exhibits, confused by others, bored by others, even laughed at some. Like most modern art it's very hit and miss as to whether you'll like it. I think it'd be worth it to visit just to look at the architecture and one or two exhibits on the 2nd floor. Not much for kids, if that's what you're looking for; there were a few exhibits with explicit content. Very good representation for minorities. A couple exhibits were a little confusing -- can I touch this, where should I be looking, should I walk through this/on this/around this... Some of the videos seemed hidden from visitors, but weren't. There were openings in the wall where you could just walk in -- if not for the signs I wouldn't have known the videos were there. Lots of good reading material -- signs and plenty of books. Some interactive exhibits on the 1st, 2nd and 5th floor. It was free for admission, but it wasn't free to park. We parked around the corner at a meter for an hourly fee -- reasonable. We stayed for between an hour and an hour and a half. This was enough time to ponder on some exhibits, but not to watch much of the videos or read every panel. It was also enough time to take a little visit to the gift shop -- my complaint is that the prices were not clearly labeled on some merchandise. We didn't eat at the cafe in the front, so I can't attest to the food or drink.

This was definitely one of the more relaxing and engaging art museums that I have visited in the last few years. Plenty of pieces in each gallery but not so many that you feel overwhelmed in trying to learn about and take in each one. Bonus points to the Creativity Center on the top floor for having a record player available and being a kid friendly space in general. Would definitely recommend to visit!

This Museum is Free entrance . We have so much fun in the creations center in the top floor. My daughter and I have a creative experience making some craft there . We love all the recycle material that inspires us to make stuff. Also all the exhibits are interesting and fun. Some artists included music or videos. We took photos without flash . We are in love with this gem Museum . The modern arquitect was Sara Hadid and was inspired by the Urban look incorporating the outside to inside. Also have a little shop inside. No parking lot so you need to park in the street or public parking.

The contemporary art center has dinner the last Friday of every month. Reservations required. Nice ambient. Quail was a hit. Price is reasonable. What’s nice is you can walk around the museum after dinner, it’s free

What a great free museum! Nicely done Cincinnati! We have a small donation for their kindness. They have a great gift shop and really interesting exhibits. Definitely worth checking out.

I got there about 6:15, and left around 6:30. Most of the time was spent walking the stairs and in the gift shop! The second floor was the only thing open. It had maybe 10 pieces to view, and most of them were plants that were being watered, a couple videos, and that's it! The gift shop wasn't much. I know it's free, but I wasn't expecting that. Call ahead and see if anything is closed before going.

We've been once before COVID-19 and there were far more exhibits open, especially for children. I think this time only a 2-3 exhibitions on the 4th and 5th floor were open to the public. Entrance is easy to get to and handicap accessible. We were not charged or printed tickets so that was nice but we were given a brief overview of the exhibits by a helpful staff person. Elevators were spacious (almost comically big) I assume to allow for art installations. Plenty of restrooms and easy to navigate paths and walkways. Well lit with a mixture of outdoor natural and electric lighting. We'd like to come back when there are more open exhibitions. We left just over 45 minutes after arriving as there just wasn't enough there to enjoy with the whole family.

This neat little art museum is tucked right into the center and the heart of downtown Cincinnati! If you ever have an opportunity to check out the current exhibit I fully recommend! I have been to this museum roughly 15 times to see different exhibits and everyone is always such an amazing and talented exhibit! They also serve food, drinks, cocktails! Masks are still required..

As a whole, this place is awesome. One through five it could be a quarterly visit but now that floor 6 is open and they have hands art creations with advisors available for questions. This could be a weekly date night thing. If the couple was interested, go to a fancy dinner downtown or at burger joint end up touring the first floors quickly and ending up on 6th and doing the art project together

I really enjoyed my time at Cac. It was really great and the staff were so helpful and knowledgeable. I went during the week on a Wednesday, and it was perfect! They have an interactive floor where kids can touch and create art. (I enjoyed that floor)

The top floor's interactive area at The Contemporary Art Museum in Cincinnati, Ohio, is an absolute blast! As a solo adult, I had so much fun exploring the engaging exhibits and experiencing the interactive installations. Visiting The Contemporary Art Museum is a fantastic experience for families.

Great museum. Several floors. Something for everyone. Zaha Hadid exhibit was absolutely fascinating- while the Tai Shani exhibit was controversial, meditative, and a little horrifying. The top floor was an interactive space for kids and families. it was a great place to spend a few hours and It is free. Only thing I wish were better, if someone would clean the stairwell -there was a great deal of dust, dirt, and hair accumulated on the stairs - so much even my husband noticed. Many of the workers were on their phones, not really engaged with visitors. That was unfortunate. But overall a great place to absorb art and culture.

Did some work there, but it is a cool place to bring little ones to do crafts and play in/on lots of fun stuff, and it's free I think

Am interesting venue. The art gallery is open for guest to enjoy and a dance disco in the basement. The bartender’s rock. They don’t allow the guests to wait forever to get a drink. The security at the doors do a good job. The event coordinator is easy to work with. Flowers by Sending Blooms

It is a wonderful place for Adults as well as young ones to know the fruits of struggle. An amazing place to take out your creativity. I loved it.

This was nice. My first time attending, I'm always doing crafts with my kids at home it's nice not to have to be the coordinator and cleaning crew every time. Everything was set up for us. Only 5 dollars per child.

Didn't seem like there was much to see. I'm happy it was free. We spent about 15 minutes here. We were told there was mature content, but we didn't see much. Lady at front counter was a bit rude.

Not really ready: exhibits are small and not very well organized. The staff is not very professional, some laze around and some talking by themselves. But it's at a great location and it has enough space to grow. It could be great in the near future.

Very open atmosphere and inviting spacing. Each exhibit links together and the staff are great on explaining if you do have a question. 3 floors of exhibits with a small area to create your own memento of your visit to take with you or leave.

This art museum is big with 5 floors. Even has a kids zone where children can create all sorts of things. There was a Deejaying station when you could play around with old music recorder. And the catch is it is FREE ENTRY for all the fun.

A non collection art center, a couple floors with current exhibits. Building designed by Zaha Hadid. Free entrance, WiFi, cafe and gift shop on ground floor.
