My wife and I went to the Barnes and Noble store in Chillicothe Ohio. And we have gone to other book stores, this is one of the best places I have ever been in to buy a book!! The atmosphere was awesome, my wife and I talked about how comfortable we both feel. They have places to sit that are very cozy. Now I personally like to head to the "art books" section. Yes, I am an artist, and I am one of the starving ones! I do not try to survive on my art work, however I have been able to be featured in a couple of galleries! Yet I am still hungry (lol), it's ok, my main purpose is to say my wife and I both are retired, we love to read 📚. Barnes and Noble book stores are for us in more than one way. The ambiance of the interior of these stores is so mind easing. The staff are so very helpful with knowing exactly where to go on the interior of these very large book stores, to find our selection of books we enjoy. At the end of our experience my wife brought her books to the checkout counter, I did the same with 2 books. I was excited to see the pick I did choose. However when I looked over at my wife's stack of books (5) and said in my mind I feel like I could have grabbed a couple more because of seeing her stack of books. All u guys know what I am talking sbout...."lol" the prices are very reasonable and can be bought by everyone. We highly recommend that everyone should take an afternoon and visit one of these book stores!! You won't be disappointed. Thx Mr. Dale Shoemaker

It’s always fun when we go look around at this store, however, we rarely ever buy anything. This store doesn’t price match other stores, only their own website. Which doesn’t even make sense. Why would I pay $10+ more here when I can run down the street to Target and Walmart and buy it for $10 cheaper. Doesn’t make sense. They would be getting so much more business if they didn’t overcharge and also price match!

Every time I go to Barnes and Noble I meet the nicest workers. They always have a good conversation about the books I am picking up and are helpful if I cannot find what I am looking for.

Best place to get my books. Big Stephen King fan and wasn't dissatisfied at all when they allways have what I'm looking for andnl more

I bought a Nook from this store and even though the guy fiddled with it, it was clear he knew nothing about this Nook. I went back a second time, and no one in the store knew how to help me. RUDE RUDE. I went to Cincinnati, bought another one and got terrific help. Shame on this store.

Was a good store but was given wrong information about some books on sale. Was printed on a sticker by one full price and get another half off. So, got a couple only to be told that it was buy one book and get a CLASSIC book half off. Didn't get told about the wrong information until I had already paid full price for all the books I got.

One of the few bookstores left in the area. Has a huge selection of books and magazines. If you are a reader and actually enjoy having a book in your hands, this is a great place to go!

We did call them to hold a book on its release day, and we were pleased with the service we did receive. My son, in addition, did receive a goody . I wish they would have an outlet closer to my home, thought

This might be a strange thing to say, but I love the way it feels in this store. It is so clean and quiet. I even like the way it smells. I love coming here and leisurely browsing books. They have a super fun "blind date with a book" end cap where the employees choose books that get wrapped in gift wrap and have little notes with the genre and sort of hints about what the book will be like. So fun!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Humongous variety of products. It's more than just books.

Barnes & Noble really know how to stay alive in the age of Kindle and eBooks. Everything in there is something you'd actually want to have in front of you instead of on a phone or tablet. Their exclusive items are actually pretty cool and they have an amazing selection of niche items and children's books. I miss the downsizing of technical reference books and such, but I get it. It's still a store where I could get lost for hours and spend hundreds.

It's always a pleasure to go shopping at Barnes and Nobles. The information desk was very helpful. The employee went out of her way to assist me with locating and even ordering book(s).

My favorite place to go. Most workers are friendly and helpful. Its always clean and organized. They don't hide the LGBTQIA+ books. Seems consistent in how they present things. The Cafe staff always is pleasant. Just a nice place to buy books and have a hot or cold beverage.

Best bookstore in the world! Doesn't get much better than Barnes and Noble. They have everything. Classics, travel books, children's books, magazines, non-fiction, novels, etc... Also an amazing array of board games, card games, other games, etc... There is a coffee shop as well, for the extra studious. Just a phenomenal book store and well-worth visiting/shopping at.

The girl working at the Starbucks inside Barnes and noble on Thursday December 1 at 1:30 was the nicest girl in the world and did such a nice job on our drinks! She even laughed at our corney jokes. Would def recommend 10/10!!!

I love this B&N! So roomy and doesn't feel crowded even when there are a lot of people there. Great selection of books and even has a Starbucks coffee shop that even has tablecloths on a few of the tables. Very nice.

Went here during their 50% off sale and it was packed! I was starting to worry when I couldn't find the books I needed. But one of the associates was able to find them in the back and not only that chatted with me about the series. I've always loved this store!

Every time my daughter and I come here, we spend hours looking at books. We never make it through the whole store. I really enjoy being able to sit down and preview the books I am considering. It is a great way to determine if I want to purchase the book or find another one. The atmosphere is great, and the staff are very helpful when I am looking for something specific. The best part is that my daughter and I are able to take our time browsing around without employees hovering over us, but they aren't hard to locate when we do need assistance.

Nice store they didn't have a guest for funeral services that I needed. I had to go across to the hallmark inside the mall. To grab one

I have always LOVED Barnes & Noble. They have always had a great selection of books. While purchasing books at the store itself is a little more pricy, I typically do night mind just because of the experience and getting to see the books in person before purchase. This location has been well kept and is organized.

Decent place, except for the fact people are apparently permitted to take their dogs into the cafe. I'm sure BN is trying to be "sensitive" to pet owners, but obviously have no regard for people with allergies.

    * Store is well-organized with books placed in convenient sections. * Almost all books are reachable without the need of a stepping stool or staff assistance. * Staff is prompt with answering questions and assisting with book search inquiries.

Very nice! Great selection and had a small cafe inside. Lots of unique board games, too. We got a replica version of the game of life with the original design (based on the 1960s game)! Also some very cute Bob Ross magnets

I love book stores, but I especially enjoy coming here. I love the atmosphere, the smell of Starbucks and new books hitting as soon as you walk in, friendly staff. And they have a great section of reduced books!

As a chain, this place pretty much always a good selection of books. There is a Starbucks located inside, and I think you can order curbside pickup for B&N here as well. The staff is usually friendly and helpful!
