Was a great experience! The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The food was delicious! And wasn't too expensive. Was spacious and not too cramped. Place also looked pretty nice.

Absolutely delicious. Just moved to Dayton and this is already our favorite place. The portions are very generous and it's so good. Please go there and try it

Saw George's on the Best of Dayton Breakfast list. We hadn't been there, but decided to try it. They were constant people coming and going. A lot of regulars. This is always a good sign. I ordered a meat lovers scramble, my husband had a country breakfast off of the senior menu and our daughter had waffles with strawberries and whipped cream, along with a hot chocolate. The food was great, as was the service! There is one other place we have not been on that best of Dayton breakfast list. Our plan is to visit it also. I have to say you won't go wrong with George's!

Really Like This Restaurant. We love the breakfast menu, good portions, hot, and Very Good. I would not recommend going in close to closing. The serving staff are vocal about ready to close, we were there one hour and 45 minutes Before 8:00pm, leaning over table to fill sugar, salt etc. Made me uncomfortable and in the way. Around 5:30/6:00 PM should be fine. Managers are extremely nice and helpful.

Super friendly staff! We came on a Friday evening, and the place was hopping! There was a line at the door and the parking lot was full. We got our food in a timely manner and were all happy with our meals. My mother-in-law ordered liver with onions, which I tasted, and can highly recommend if you are someone who likes liver. It was amazing!

Great diner for some casual food. The service was great and we met the owner and he was super nice and personable. Also to mention the food was amazing. I highly recommend the country fried steak and their banana pudding. I will be back if and when I'm in dayton again!

Family friendly diner. We stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday around 11am, and there was a 30-minute wait. We all ordered breakfast entrees, and everything tasted great! Service was friendly. No complaints!

Definitely a down home mom and pop place I'm glad I came out to support . It was busy when I pulled up and that's always a good sign. I walked in sat down and got my drink right away , and the waitress Jamie was super friendly and super helpful on my custom order. Please be patient with servers , this place stays on and popping 💪💪💪. I got the broaster breakfast, two breaded pork chops with 4 scrambled eggs with cheese, substituted the fries for grits , and added some of that amazingly charred sausage to the order , also modified my toast to garlic toast. This place is awesome and any time I'm trucking and in the area again I will be back to show my love and support !!!!! Keep up the great work y'all , you can feel the love and passion in all that you do here!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

Excellent. No TVs to be seen anywhere, that was the first perk. Service was prompt, friendly, and highly attentive. Mom got a bacon cheese burger and onion rings which she raved about. Husband got the Classic with fried and loved it. Three little kids shared the big breakfast called The Full House and that worked great. Plenty of food for 5, 3, and 1 yr. I got the country omelette add onions and green peppers with rye toast. Phenomenal. Great choice if I don’t say so myself. All employees were pleasant, and seemed to like working there. Highly recommend and we will definitely return when we’re in the area again.

I'm from the East coast and love diners...We were wishing we could find a diner and GPS guided us to George's. Food was great, servers were courteous, service was quick and the family atmosphere was pleasantly diverse. I felt like I was back home in NY/NJ. The search for a good diner is over, we look forward to becoming regulars. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

We had one of the nicest waitresses who absolutely went above and beyond to show us great service. There was a short wait, but that's no big deal. I wish I has gotten the breakfast that's served all day, but didn't. My mistake. The spaghetti was good, but I'm really curious how the pancakes are. Maybe next time...

Classic family diner. Came for breakfast, food was great. Great portions for the price - can't go wrong with country fried steak breakfast. Small town feel, everyone's very nice and relatively quick turnaround despite how busy it gets.

Good food, Belgian waffles are as good as they say, super fluffy and delicious. Waitress with pink hair was super nice and helpful. Also decently priced, under $30 for 2 people with a good amount of food.

It's a large diner. We stopped for dinner. We were seated right away and the waitress was quick to take our order then everything came to a halt. We were seated where I could see the plating area. About 15 mins after we ordered, I had ordered a salad with grilled chicken, I saw the salad go up and was expecting the other orders to come up shortly after (there were 3 of us). What I noticed instead was a lot of bickering going on between some of the staff. I don't know if they were short handed and feeling stressed or just overly busy. Regardless, my salad with grilled chicken sat there for 20 minutes before the other orders came up. I asked if the chicken was supposed to be cold and he said yes. Well, OK. The hubby got a sandwich and our friend got the liver and onions. Between the three, the liver and onions was the best. I hear the breakfast is really good and I think you can get it all day. Maybe that's the best way to go. Breakfast for dinner is 100% acceptable.

Took my students on a fieldtrip to George's for lunch. 12 people. They were busy, but had us seated in less than 10 minutes. We were met with excellent hosting, seating and service. Our orders were correct and the food was as tasty as usual! Thank you George's for your hospitality and service. We will be back.

This restaurant has that homestyle feel.. Food is always so tasty and fresh. Oh I really felt at home. We had a chipped plate. Loved it.. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It's an older building so obviously could use some updates. The food was good. White biscuit gravy tastes like a can gravy so I was disappointed with that. But other than that the fried potatoes were excellent, omelet was great. I will be going back! Staff was friendly. Polish sausage was divine.

Restaurant was super busy but service still very good. Excellent broasted chicken. Light crispy breading and juicy on inside. Generous portions. Great meaty chili. A guy who we think was owner or manager stopped by our table to ask how our meal was and gave us a 10 percent off card for our next visit. They have great deals/specials/discounts throughout the week. We stopped at George's traveling on the way to Cincinnati because of the excellent reviews which are well deserved. We plan to stop again when we are traveling through the area. Very close to the expressway so it is easy to stop and eat quickly. It's easy to understand why George's has been so successful for almost 30 years!!!!

Ordered a patty melt. A sliver of onion, certainly not sauteed ONIONS... and no thousand Island dressing, which I have always had on any patty melt I have be ever had. Swiss cheese.. yes... On one half. So basically I had a burger on toast. Photo shows the only onions on the whole thing. And they were not sauteed, just hot and tough like the outside skin.

Absolutely impressed by the atmosphere and customer service from the moment we walked through the door with our greeting to our accommodation for a larger family with children. The person Jonathan, who sitted us at our table and brought us our drink choices and provided activities for the kids until our waitress arrived and introduced herself but i forget her name only because i was tired but she was very pleasant and paid attention to the kids as individuals she then took our orders and was very professional. The cook and the prep cook are to be commended as our food was made to order for all of us perfect. Cooked to order and hot and fresh the comfort food we were looking for. This was our first visit, and we chose it based on the reviews . We, as a family, choose to support our local communities and small businesses, and George's family restaurant deserves a 5 star rating across the board. With the cost of everything in the current economy, We were able to eat and feel like we received our monies worth. Thank you all for making our first experience worth bragging about.

The menu offered a diverse range of mouthwatering dishes that were expertly prepared and bursting with flavors, leaving us wanting more.

We enjoy going to George's when we are on that side of town. We often go there to have a meal with friends and family. I've never had bad service. And the food is good. It's a nice Mom & Pop restaurant.

George’s is an incredible family style restaurant with fresh food and great service. The menu has excellent variety with traditional and Greek selections. The Broasted chicken is my favorite and so flavorful! While visiting Dayton, I ate here almost every day!!! Each and every server was attentive and charming? Thank you for making me feel welcome in Dayton.

I love this place. I don't get there often cause it's on the other side of town from me. But I'm never disappointed when I go. I love the food and the atmosphere. All the staff are super friendly and seem to genuinely enjoy working there. They seem to know everyone of their regulars by name and personality. I got the gyro omelette and a waffle and I was not disappointed. Will be back next time I'm over there.

Had an appt near the restaurant one day. Was hungry so we stopped in for a quick breakfast. The service was exceptional, the menu was quite large for a Mom & Pop type of restaurant. After our first visit, I knew we would be back! We have made the drive from Cincinnati several times since. Every time, it's as good as the first. Always delicious, fast and friendly service with a smile! What a jewel! On a scale of 1-10, I give it a 100!

Everything on the menu sounded so good that it was hard for us to choose! We each got something we had been craving for awhile(chicken & biscuits w gravy, fish, Cole slaw, etc) and it was all mouth watering. Plus the staff was friendly and service was fast. We will be back for more!

Amazing family food. When the place is packed with locals, you know it’s good. Everything we ate was great. Nothing fancy. Large menu, but perfectly prepared like grandma and mom always made. I would highly recommend going here.

As always.. it was fantastic!! Thank you again George's family restaurant ❤️ the lady's that work there waiting tables and bringing food out for pick up are really sweet too. I work for Triangle insurance agency and we are pretty much across the street from George's and we would order lunch from there 3xs a week or more. Thanks for all the great food. We will definitely be back for more.
