    Here is a little gem in La Veta that I recommend. The food was tasty, the service was great and the atmosphere was perfect outdoors. It was a beautiful Easter day so we sat outside. While I'm unsure of their dinner arrangements, this was for brunch. Not busy and a fair amount of seating.

    Hadn’t been in this area in years and was glad to see La Veta now has a place with great atmosphere and the food was superb! Had the tuna poke, burgers and the pistachio gelato… Everything was delicious

    Excellent food and customer service. Went 3 times while we were in area and all times were great. Small restaurant with patio area. San Marcos burrito was a favorite and excellent. I also had a daily special which was excellent. Good selection of dessert. Service was excellent and attentive.

    We’ve been to Legend’s a few times now and it is always outstanding. The food is great as is the service. A must-visit spot when you’re in La Veta!

    This small little restaurant serves very good food in a lovely garden. The band for the brewery next door (shared garden) must be used to bigger venues as they were much too loud making it difficult to visit with the rest of our group. The food was delicious but not served hot it was rather lukewarm. We were hungry so we enjoyed it all regardless. The desserts are very good. Chocolate cream pie was exceptionally good.

    We both had the layered enchiladas. I had chicken with green chili, and my companion had veggies with red and green chili. We both basically licked our plates clean. I had the Mountain Merman IPA. It was okay, not my favorite style of IPA, probably. The service was friendly and accommodating even when it began to rain and most people wanted to go inside. We stayed outside, so I never saw the interior.

    I've eaten here twice now, and it has been consistently great food. First-time, family and friends took us out to eat, and we had a party of four and had no issue with getting a table. This time, it was just my husband and I. We got a table for two with no incident. Families definitely eat here. Great New.Mexican food, the red sauce is smokey and sweet. Service was polite and answered all my questions. If you have room for desert, I recommend the chocolate moose when they have it! Enjoy your meal!
