Last weekend I went to Tepoztlán as a weekend getaway with friends. After hiking Tepozteco, we treated ourselves with some amazing food at Juanitos. The five of us ordered three Juanito bowls: it’s basically a bowl made of delicious bread and filled with fusilli, your chosen salsa and three ingredients. Two people can easily share one bowl, we didn‘t even finish ours and had to take it home (never waste food). The atmosphere is great, we had a table in the garden. Be sure to book a table in advance as the restaurant has limited seats.

One of the best hamburgers I've had. Blue cheese, bacon (extra) and habanero on homemade bread. The meat was perfectly cooked and huge. Highly recommended.

Very good food, loved it. Amazing Taste. We had burgers. The veggie burger is a must try, very tasty and what I loved the most was that it didnt come with a "patty". It was a great combination of veggiezz instead 🤩. MUST TRY is also the brownie with vanilla ice cream or the lemon cheesecake.

Lovely quiet spot just off the market street, with congenial garden seating . Excellent artisanal beers, great hamburgers and fries. Try the Chipotle burger- juicy and tasty! Highly recommended!

A huge "must" in Tepoztlan. Even though it is not a traditional cuisine place, which is what most people are looking for in this town, it has a cool vibe and the taste OMG! Go and taste the hamburgers and or the lasagna. Nice service, prices average for the type of food.

We’ve eaten here before and knew the food is good; but on the second occasion that we visited, my wife wandered around the garden to admire the plants before sitting down to order. The chef rudely said “stop f*ing with the plants,” in English perhaps thinking she would not understand. We got up from our table and left without ordering.

Came a couple minutes before they were planning to close, and they took me in, ordered the chipotle burger and it was amazing! Top notch burger with quality taste, the burger itself is big and the meat quality is great, highly recommend

Decent food, portions are huge, prices are okay. Tucked behind the main street. A rain downpour occurred during our meal and the waitresses seemed reluctant to drop the plastic curtains. I think the 4.7 rating it has is overrated.

Very nice little place. Been here several times, and the food was spectacular every time. Excellent and friendly service too, a rarity in Mexico.

Hidden burger gem in Tepoztlán! Probably one of the tastiest burgers I’ve ever had. You can tell they really care about the quality - I even noticed they had a chef supervising the cooks. And for the price, this is unbeatable. Highly recommend.

Food is ok but this is neither a Mexican restaurant or a vegan friendly place! We found this restaurant in google looking for a vegan Mexican restaurant in Tepoztlán. Surprisingly the menu is not Mexican at all and there are no vegan options! They adapted a salad and a baguette for us but nothing else could have been adapted for vegans… Lovely garden but sadly we will not be back.

pretty disappointing burgers. might have had too high of expectations given the other glowing reviews, but these weren’t that great. got the classico & azul diablo. well priced though and friendly service.
