👍👍 Lovely place. Greeter made us feel very welcome. Pity the upstairs ceiling was damaged etc so we couldn't go upstairs. But was still very enjoyable. Play area and loads of grass for those who have kids to play on outside too. Will definately be coming back.

A lovely 18th-century manor of the Nelthorpe family, now with a small museum collection. Some beautiful original features. George Stubbs was sponsored by the Nelthorpes as a young man when they lived here.

Some interesting local history, but there are displays upstairs, with no lift. Open at weekends, so useful educational entertainment for the family.

Really enjoyed the visit plenty to see & read Rural crafts tho upstairs not open as the ceiling has collapsed so closed to public. Will open up when repairs completed

Not a great deal to do, worth a visit with the kids if you’ve not been before. Volunteers were friendly.

Nice place. No litter or graphity. Very green beautiful place. One disappointment was a stray condom on the path near the museum !

Not a bad little museum, with frequently changing exhibits with a local angle.
