REASONABLE
Fairly
unfriendly
yet
sufficiently
helpful
staff.
The
free
toilet
is
very
very
clean
and
convenient.
Being
a
parent
as
well
as
being
in
close
proximity
to
the
park
its
often
a
godsend.
Probably
the
most
expensive
large
commercial
supermarket
in
Hunedoara
and
can
be
extremely
busy,
but
it
does
have
some
good
prices
depending
on
what
you’re
looking
for.
The
range
of
products
are
pretty
good
and
I’m
quite
pleased
with
the
fresh
baking
section.
One
of
the
more
ridiculous
store
policies
is
to
do
with
the
baskets
at
the
self-serve
checkout.
Currently,
the
moment
you’ve
scanned
your
items
and
your
basket
is
empty,
staff
members
will
freely
collect
your
basket,
even
though
you
might
have
one
too
many
items
to
carry
in
your
arms
but
not
enough
to
use
a
trolley.
You
are
not
allowed
to
pack
your
paid
items
back
into
the
basket
and
take
it
to
the
packing
area
in
an
attempt
to
make
space
for
other
customers.
Instead,
customers
are
made
to
wait
while
you
either:
attempt
to
exit
the
self-serve
area
with
arms
full
of
produce
fumbling
to
scan
the
barcode;
buy
a
bag
which
you’ll
still
have
to
pack
items
into
at
some
point;
or
make
customers
wait
while
you
pack
the
bag
that
you
brought.
Either
way,
it
slows
everyone
down
in
an
area
of
the
store
where
it's
intended
to
speed
up
customer
flow
but
instead
is
fraught
with
delays
and
malfunctions.
If
they
were
to
allow
customers
to
pack
their
items
back
into
the
basket
and
quickly
vacate
the
area,
it
would
save
time
and
effort,
which
is
the
very
reason
for
self-serve
checkouts
in
the
first
place.
The
purported
reason
for
this
seizure
of
basketry
(😂),
is
to
prevent
people
from
taking
them
to
the
car
park,
which
by
the
way,
who
the
hell
would
do
that?!
But
ok,
perhaps
that's
an
issue,
but
that
can
be
solved
by
the
security
at
the
exit
who
could
intercept
such
social
invalids
and
deal
with
the
inane
infraction
there
and
then.
In
any
case,
Kaufland
also
have
a
policy
insisting
the
storage
of
bags
in
lockers
before
entering
the
store.
While
this
is
a
loose
rule,
these
lockers
are
situated
at
the
only
entry
and
exit
of
the
building,
where
promotions
also
clutter
the
insufficient
space.
So
to
add
to
the
inconvenience
of
the
basket
abduction
ordeal
(🥳),
one
must
also
clumsily
and
frantically
pack
their
bags
in
the
most
busy
area
of
the
store.
That’s
if
the
lockers
are
even
working,
which
95%
of
them
are
not.
While
the
staff
deep
down
ultimately
want
to
assist
you,
it
pains
them
to
do
so
and
I’m
not
surprised
given
the
poor
layout
and
inefficient
processes
they’re
forced
to
implement.
And
thus
left
with
an
unpleasant
experience
for
all.
For
a
multi
billion
dollar
company,
this
is
pretty
sad
and
sorry
to
see.
If
conditions
were
better
for
both
staff
and
customer,
I’m
certain
morale
across
the
board
would
be
higher
and
Kaufland
might
benefit
from
boosting
their
reputation
as
well
as
their
sales.
See
my
review
on
Jumbo
Foodmarkt,
Amsterdam.
That’s
the
measuring
stick
I’m
referring
to.
As
it
stands,
corporate
seem
to
not
care
so
much.
And
it
shows.
Ps.
Though
more
limited,
_Lidl_
Hunedoara
is
cheaper,
much
friendlier
and
willingly
helpful.
