I have stayed here a few times and it has always been good, but I have just stayed here for four days and the restaurant and service was absolutely appalling!!!! Either no food or hours wait because if functions. We had 8 of us staying there and surely residents should take priority. We ended up having to go out to eat every night if we wanted food.. no room service.. food was stone cold... I stay here every couple of months and will be looking for another hotel next stay.. very disappointed

A bit expensive when you consider the faults: broken shower, dysfunctional lamps, dusty carpets and furniture. The area was close to the castle.

The hotel is clean and provides you great hospitality. The hotel owner Mr.Maier was very helpful and he will guide you throughout your stay. The staff is really friendly and qualified. The hotel provides you every facility. Also, the food from the restaurant was very good. Best pizza! . I'll recommend the hotel to every couple and family. You won’t regret, just be there:)

I like it, very friendly personal and clean place!

The hotel is located in the main street but is too far of the Corvinus Castle, Hunedoara has other hotels closer to the castle The room wasn´t too clean. The manager speak english but not know deal with foreigners. Its too expensive for their services. Breakfast was included but the food was very bad and dirty, there were fleas in the sausage. I would not recommend the hotel for anything.

We stay in Hotel Maier, Hunedoara, 15 or more nights a year. Breakfasts are good and we have enjoyed many evening meals there also. No idea why pablo g G Y wrote such a negative review ( could it be possible he works in another local establishment?..surely not..); but, our expeiences have always been positive... this is why we keep coming back. I always ask before booking, and when there is a wedding celebration scheduled in the hotel, we do NOT stay there...of course this is true of any hotel. I prefer to sleep at night v s listen to the beat of others who do not! Good service and worth what we pay to stay.

Decent but nothing super special. Good location, parking in front and friendly staff.

Good value for money. Non-pretentious hosting, relaxed atmosphere, quiet neighborhood (during weekends).
