10 lei entrance ticket. About 700m until the bison viewing point. Recommended.

A perfect place to visit at any age, from 0 to 100 years. Beside watching the bisons you can also walk in the forest, breath the fresh air and forget about the noisy, crowded cities. Entrance fee costs 9 lei(less than 2 euros) and you can stay as long as you want.

Very nice place, not many bisons, there are 8 at the moment (6 adults and 2 baby bisons), but it's great to visit them! You park outside of the reserve and walk another 6-700 meters in the forrest, with a nice landscape. We even spotted a gorgeous owl :) The ticket is 5 lei for students and 7 lei for adults, very cheap. You can get a cute magnet for 3 lei.

Disappointed because it has so much more potential. it would have been great if they had more info panels on the bison history in Europe and curiosities. Ask more money and reinvest as a tourist attractions. It should make kids more involved in these beautiful animals with education.

Very nice place for students and not only. Excellent tour by Sandu. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit.

The Reservation on it's own is a great thing for our country and not only. But there are only Few bisons to watch- at least they were close to the fence and we could see them. You have to walk from the parking to the actual place where they are, whitch is a good thing- the place is clean and the foreat, great!

Arrived on a Monday afternoon during the visiting hours. Parking was full with cars and other tourists. The gate was closed and no one was there anymore 1 hr 30 min before closing time that was advertised online, at the entrance of the park and the entrance gate. We tried to call the number available online but no one would pick up the phone anymore. This was a huge disappointment, especially when you come from far away to visit the reserve. Shame on the ones who are managing the reserve...

It is in a marvelous natural scenery. Recently renovated access road to the park. The place has more potential in it!

A quiet, nice area but with few buffalos. At least the weather was okey to do a walkaround the reservation.

Wonderful place, well organized, clean and quiet, in the middle of nature, easy access from the main road, very friendly with animals, families with children, nature lovers. Paved road (asphalt) for 800 m from the gate and parking to the ranch of bisons, toilets at the gate, clean with running water, accessible for the whole year, good visibility of the wild beasts, observation decks solid and accessible for everybody (except for wheelchairs).

We came early in the morning while the bisons were eating and no-one else was in the park and it was wonderful. We could see the amazing animals from close-by and loved it. Ofcourse this reserve does great work trying to bring these animals back. The park is easy accessible for wheelchair and children, it was a nice walk through the forest to get to the bisons. Newborn Ronaldo is a cutie!

The bisons are not in the greatest shape around 8 remaining, also people make a lot of noise and do not respect them... But you need to see them at least once in your life, magnificent creature.

We parked our car and had a nice, quiet 10 minute walk through the forest. We then reached the bison enclosure. The area wasn’t very big (which could be a minus for the bisons). We got to see 6-7 bisons up-close + a 3 week old calf that was very cute! Overall, i recommend it, as it is one of the few places where you can see those beautiful and rare animals. Also, the price isn’t high!

A must see serene nature reserve. Bisons 🦬 are so peaceful and calm and you can disconnect while watching them grazing.

So lovely animals! They are very curious, especially the little ones! If you are lucky you can give them a kiss! Only 9 left after the maximum of 22...

Nice. It was a beautiful day, so we didn't mind walking on a paved road in a beautiful forest about a km each way. You get to a fenced area where you can see from very close these lovely monsters. No information, definitely not in English.

I really liked it. I wish them good luck with their effort to repopulate the Romanian forests with these animals.

I waited about 10 minutes until the lady from the cashier came to give us tickets, otherwise it's very nice. Quiet, clean, the animals seem happy.

👍 You can find here a short introduction in the Hateg’s dinosaurs history. A small museum, build up an managed by a few young people, it has interesting infos and a fossilized dinosaurs egg nest. In the back of the museum you can find a nice place for the kids: a garden of the senses and not only. 1-...

🫤 Just a rock in the middle of the forest. It is NOT the circular stone formations you see on the, mistakenly placed, photos.
