The absolute worst home improvement store I've been to. It was like a ghost town. Not one associate in half the store for over 15 min. Had to ask the two ladies at the pro desk (who had were doing nothing) to call someone over to the wood cutting saw twice and still had to walk the store to find an associate to come assist because no one showed up. The guy that helped us, chris, was nice but had no clue how to cut wood. It was a simple request, cut it at 24, and at 65. If the cut was a little off, that would be fine but its not even squared. 1 end is 24 5/8, over a half inch off the request, and the over end is 24 13/16 more than 3/4 of an inch off and 3/8 off from the other side. Not sure how you can mess up that bad and didn't think I needed to check something like this from a store of "professionals". I am now out about $40, have to drive to home depot (which I really should have just done from the begining) if I want to start my project during the holiday break like I planned. I've had ok experiences at other lowes locations, will drive out of my way to avoid this pathetic store. Pictured: I walked the isles and snapped pics as I walked of every isle on the half of the store with building materials, lumber, mill work, hardware, and flooring. When speaking to Chris, he was covering all those departments. The ladies up front at the pro desk told me it was because it's the holidays and everyone is on vacation. I'm the customer, that is not my problem. If the store manager is not capable of running a store properly, they should be removed. Also pictured: the cuts. I really should have checked before leaving. That is on me but again, I didn't think it was possible to mess it up with that saw. Still trying to figure out how it's he was able to cut a straight line, on that saw and have it come out not straight. Any representative from lowes, please feel free to reach out to me.

It used to be that you’d go to this Lowes and you’d need to hire a private detective to find someone to help you. THEN they did away with all cashiers in favor of four self-checkout machines, so you can do THAT job too. NOW, you see people in Lowes vests EVERYWHERE, but they’re always standing in clusters talking to each other. This place is the worst. I’ve included pics taken on my last visit of two impassable aisles, due to employees moving items and just leaving them there instead of stocking the shelves. (I guess we’re supposed to do that too, just like being our own cashier) Oh, and NOW they have a guy with a loud sound system selling hot dogs right by the front door. A belligerent guy who, when my elderly mother asked politely for him to turn it down, he gave her a blank stare and then turned it up. Yup. Last visit. I’ll drive the extra 3 miles to Home Depot.

Dear Lowe's Management, I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service I recently received at one of your stores. As a frequent shopper and long-time admirer of Lowe's, I have always appreciated the quality of products offered and the professionalism of your staff. However, my latest experience was far from the standard I have come to expect from your esteemed brand. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by an employee who initially appeared eager to assist. However, after our brief discussion about the product I was interested in, I was left standing unattended for more than ten minutes. As a customer, I value my time and find it disheartening to be left in such a situation, especially when I was ready and willing to make a purchase. This experience was not just frustrating on a personal level, but it also raises concerns about the potential financial implications for your company. The delay and lack of attention could be causing loss of sales, as customers may choose to take their business elsewhere when faced with such service. Moreover, the situation could have been easily avoided if the staff was adequately trained to handle multiple customers or if there was a system in place to ensure that no customer is left unattended for a prolonged period. This incident indicates a gap in customer service that needs to be addressed. Despite this experience, I believe in Lowe's ability to rectify this situation. I am hopeful that my feedback will be taken into serious consideration and that steps will be taken to enhance customer service. I look forward to a more efficient and attentive service during my future visits to your stores. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I believe in Lowe's commitment to its customers and I am confident that you will use this feedback to improve your service. Sincerely, Wise Whale

I am disappointed of the service during the delivery of my washer; the driver/person hooking the machine said I can't help you you need to call a plumber because the hook up valve is rusted .by the time I went to check on them they left and I didn't get the chance to see anything, my husband was there and told me the same thing they told him .when went to check they could've kept the "rusted" valves and hook the old hoses to the new machine they are not too old also they hawl my old machine with is not what I wanted .it gave me option to hawl for $50.00 but I didn't choose the option .I want my old machine back seriously I am very disappointed .

What to say about Lowe's Home Improvement on John Young Parkway? We love this location. First of all, it's huge and so we can find everything here. The organization is superb, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We bought our washing and drying machines and the delivery and installation was handled excellently. They also have plenty of space for the pick up area, veteran parking, the garden section is huge and well there is just everything to get here. Highly recommend it!

Edited after response from Lowe's below. Ordered a Miele dishwasher. Paid a lot for installation. The installers did not do the job correctly - they left part of the installation undone. I pointed it out to them at the time, but they insisted that it was my responsibility to complete it. I discovered later that they threw away some of the parts required for the installation to be completed. I contacted the manufacturer (Miele) asking for the missing parts. They told me I had to go through the store to get them. I call Lowe's installation services, who told me they would instruct the store where I purchased the machine (South Orlando) to contact me and that they would do so within 24-48 hours. They gave me a case number. Three days later no one had contacted me. I called the store directly many times but no one ever answered the phone. I called Lowe's installation services again, and they tried again to fob me off wth "someone from the South Orlando store will contact you." Of course that was never going to happen. I had to insist and after more than one hour on the phone with both Lowe's installation services and Miele, finally Miele agreed to send me the missing parts at no charge. But they told me that I should have been more insistent with the installers that they complete the installation! Seriously, what else could I have done besides ask them to finish the job? (which I did at the time). In sum, the South Orlando store was totally useless. And this is on purpose, given they do not answer their phone. Editing this review after the response from Lowe's below. I AM SHAKING AND I AM IN TEARS. I called the number that the response told me to call. I was told that nothing can be done to help me and that the warranty I paid a lot of money for is void. I AM IN TEARS. I WILL NEVER EVER EVER PURCHASE FROM LOWE'S AGAIN. Lowe's has my name and so can find me and my phone number in their files. If they really wanted to solve this problem they could call me very easily instead of giving me the continued run-around of having to call them.
