This is our favorite place! Our English Springer Spaniel has so much fun and so do we. They have great drink specials every night of the week. This is one of the only bars I feel safe at during COVID because of the space between tables and mask mandate. Love that they bring your drink order to your table as well! Daycare is also great- affordable price and our pup comes home happy and tired. Staff is also so wonderful. Update: We've been going here for about two years and always have a great experience! The staff is so wonderful and cares about the pups. We come in and they instantly know that Griffin is here for daycare. We even saw a staff member at a pet store and they remembered Griffin! Highly recommend Lucky Dog as a place to go for a drink, for doggy daycare, and boarding!

My largest concern with Lucky Dog is how many dogs they take on. My dog's first doggy daycare visit with them I was told they rotated through 100+ dogs that day!! Thankfully, they only do groups of 10-15 dogs a playtime, but that sounds like a HECTIC day for the staff (a lot of rotation between groups!!) & not much play for each group on such a busy day. I have worked at doggy daycares and know the difficulty in managing play groups...I cannot imagine having a day with that many dogs. I wish I felt more comfortable using them as they were very friendly and seem to love the pups, but I personally feel it is not the best atmosphere for my pup and her safety.

Ranger gets very excited. If whenever I mention to go to Lucky Dog he’s happy he’s jumping around and he just cannot wait to get there so that tells me that he’s been well treated and I would recommend this to anybody who’s having to think about where to send their dog when they have a vacation or or a daycare and are considering a place for their pet.

First time there. My dog had a blast. Everyone's dogs were well behaved. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dog bath and beer night on Tuesday's. Great idea, my dog was given a bath . She didn't mind at all, she was back out to running with her new friends. Can't wait to take her again!

Brought Bruno in for a temperament test and was a bit nervous, the staff quickly put me at ease. Great staff, knowledgeable, competent and friendly. He will be a regular!!!

My pup absolutely Loves Luck Dog Bark and Brew LKN. She gets super excited when we pull up. Everyone knows her name, and this give me comfort. The daycare and boarding is affordable.

This place was fun. We were traveling so we didn't even have our dog with us but went anyway. Many good boys and girls for many pats and lovins (and the people seemed nice too). They've got a nice setup. Good draft beer selection, too!

You can tell the daycare and boarding staff are true dog lovers and love what they do. This definitely gives me a sense of comfort and peace when leaving my fur-baby with them. He is excited when we pull up in the parking lot. Awesome Job, crew❣️🐾

It's a really great dog bar! Trivia night is on Mondays at 7, though they don’t seem to advertise that on their website anywhere. It’s a lot of fun, and my team has won a prize both times we’ve gone. All of the staff are nice, and most of the dogs and owners are excellent as well. Some people bring dogs that are not necessarily ready for a dog park-themed dog bar, but it usually works out okay. My dog loves going there, I enjoy the atmosphere, and I plan to finally take them up on the Tuesday night bath & beer for $15 special soon.

On the first day our pup was eligible to go to a dog park/play with other dogs, we celebrated at the Lake Norman location. With my previous dog, I was a regular at the Steele Creek location. But after moving to Davidson, we find the Lake Norman location more convenient. And I am SO HAPPY to be a part of the extended family. The location is clean, well-organized, and the staff... We absolutely LOVE! We visit the fenced/outdoor dog park about three times a week, taking advantage of both the Monday night trivia (which in itself is a spectacular event) AND the Lucky Dog "Beer and a Bath" night on Tuesdays. We also use the Day Care at least once a week. We love how easy it is to make reservations online using the Owner Portal. Getting our dog's vaccination data uploaded was a snap. The staff even helped us get the digital paperwork from our vet. We've also used overnight boarding on multiple occasions. Once, there was a mix-up with our feeding instructions and (I love this!) the overnight staff sent us a chat/text message to confirm. It was both thorough and thoughtful. And! Coming home from the same trip, my flight was delayed... And delayed... But the team at Lucky Dog stayed open/available for me to pick up my pooch. I was able to chat (via txt) regarding my estimated time of arrival. They had my boy all ready to go, leash-in-hand. It was such a sweet thing to do. Lastly, when we arrive at Lucky Dog Lake Norman, my dog is eager to "join the pack" because being part of a play group has helped him develop healthy social skills. When we walk in, he's so confident because he knows he's about to have his BEST DAY EVER. And more importantly, when he comes home from both day care and boarding, he's relaxed and cheerful. That's exactly what we love about trusting the team at the Lucky Dog Lake Norman-- we feel cared for.

Lucky Dog has gone down hill a little in the grooming area. It was recently bought out, and it's just not the same. My dog has gone to Lucky Dog for grooming since he was 3 months old. Now he is 5 years old. The new staff has decided that it's too hard to cut his nails. This is a dog who LOVES baths. LOVES people. But, he is a big dog. I am guessing that the staff feels like they don't know if he would do something.

My dogs LOVE lucky dog! Whether for daycare, beer and a bath nights, or boarding, they always leave happy and exhausted! The staff is great and very accommodating, and it's clear they really care about my fur babies 😊

We had our Bernedoodle groomed and she looked spectacular! She also came out with a smile on her face which has never happened after other grooming appointments. I think the interaction she had with other dogs made her feel comfortable. Thanks Lucky Dog!

Everyone is always pleasant and my dog loves to get his baths at Lucky Dog. The price is fantastic.

Just a good place for a beer and watching dogos be dogos. Don't be afraid to stop by even if you don't have a dog. Friendly staff and a great selection of beer tops it off.

It seems my dog likes going for daycare and boarding although I’ve never seen the back of the facility inside or him on cameras. They know which one he is and know him by name so hard always nice to see. Prices are reasonable. Good location.

We love this place! Our work schedules are a bit funky so evening dog parks don't always have dogs by the time we can get there, but there's always friends at Lucky Dog. Bartenders are quick and polite, and the staff does a great job picking up after the dogs and washing the concrete. Love that we can pick up food on the way and eat there, but also have liked to see some food options in walking distance. Would still absolutely recommend this place to take your furry friend.

This place is the BEST! If you’re a dog person + enjoy a drink now and then, it’s a dream come true. Also, their drink prices are incredibly reasonable. It’s such a fun atmosphere, and everyone (including the dogs, lol) is so friendly. It’s also always so clean! We love taking our dogs here, and I’d come here every weekend if I could!

Great place for dog lovers, who like to hang with their friends 4 or 2 legged while having a few beers or mixed drinks. No food sold on premises but you can have food delivered or bring your own ( be prepare for sad puppy eyes as you eat). Should the consumption of beverages be too much there is a hotel a parking lot walking distance away.

It is a great place to go to have a beer and let the dog play with his friends. The dog loves the day care, and barges it like he owns the place! Their hours are great, and it is a convenient daycare for afternoon games in Charlotte.

Great boarding experience for our dog. They offer a ton of different options for boarding. We had them do a full grooming after we left our dog their over a long weekend, she smells amazing. They did a great job with her nails and deshedding. We will be using them for now on for boarding.

Maybe it was a bad day but this location doesn’t impress me compared to the other Lucky Dogs in the 704 area. This had to be my least favorite due to the clientele and location. Unlike the other places there is very limited food options in the local area. Nothing is within walking proximity so if you’re hungry. You’re out of luck. This might work out for some but I’ve had nothing but 5 star experiences with other locations. The staff themselves are 5 star. Everyone seemed smiling & happy even on a gloomy day. The location and facility is clean. I will say they lack some details with their neighboring locations including neat things like having grooming products in the bathroom for the fellas. I could definitely tell their is management disconnect or the location is ran differently. Overall 3.5/5 but won’t be coming back anytime soon.

I can't tell you how much I love this place. The staff is outstanding and the atmosphere is unbeatable. Drinks and dogs. What more could you ask for? Well they have games too. And a shop. If I could, I would be here here every weekend.

We take our dog to Lucky at least once a week if not 2 or 3 times. It's a great place for her to get some sprints in. She also gets boarded there often and always gets really excited when we drop her off so I know she has a great time. They have a good mix of drinks available at the bar (beer, seltzers, usually a rotating cider, and cocktails). They have food trucks sometimes but you can bring in your own food. They have events from time to time too as well as a few TVs if you want to hang out and watch a game. The staff is really great. We're so happy we have found this place!

Nice place to take your dog and have beer too! Day care allows me to run errands and my dog gets to play with her doggie friends. Plus, I can go out for dinner and pick her up by 9:00pm.
