🫤 My complains about this place are only in relation to doctor Silva. He didn't believe my pain levels and basically told me I'm probably fine and I shouldn't have to use crutches (even though I'm in a ton of pain and can hardly walk for three days) because my X-rays looked normal to him. I could just... People often mention time, care, pain, told, staff, kind, knee,

My complains about this place are only in relation to doctor Silva. He didn't believe my pain levels and basically told me I'm probably fine and I shouldn't have to use crutches (even though I'm in a ton of pain and can hardly walk for three days) because my X-rays looked normal to him. I could just barely go to the bathroom on my own at the time. I feel like a good doctor would always say “if it hurts, don't put weight on it”. Even if they aren’t sure what’s wrong. Maybe they would suggest getting an MRI or seeing another type of doctor for a second opinion. Also he did not include any mention of the bone islands we found and discussed in length on his "visit summary" although they are definitely relevant given my past history where I needed surgery for painful (benign) bone lesions. I he didn't really give me any follow up instructions and just said it should go away in 3-7 days? He also brought up how he wasn’t going to give me pain killers which was wild because I didn’t and was not going to ask for any pain killers, I just needed to find out what to do next. It was very dismissive and felt so bad I was crying for like 20 minutes after because I was in so much agony to be dismissed like that. I visited my OBGYN and she immediately ran multiple blood tests on me, got me scheduled for an MRI, is checking my thyroid and she isn’t sure but she believes I may be developing an auto immune disease. It really was a useless experience with Dr.Silva.The facility is nice but it’s very weird that they don’t encourage anyone to use masks.

Dr. Alvin Haymond educated me on why my pain was happening. His passion in wanting me to understand why the pain and where the tendon and bones are was outstanding. It made me pay attention and learn because it made me feel like he cared to know he understands how treatment and the psychology of letting me know that he has empathy helps begin the healing and makes some patients like me follow aftercare instructions better. The feeling of knowing you matter. Dr. Haymond provided that on my visit. Hell! He's Great!

Had a very good experience with Dana. She took the time to examine my elbow thoroughly, reviewed the x rays and came to a definitive conclusion as to what was wrong. She gave me several treatment options to choose from in order to accommodate my job. The entire staff was outstanding at the Sunday urgent care!!

My visit went well and everyone was very nice. All my questions were answered. My only dislike was how busy and rushed they seemed to be. I understand that it's to be expected when you go through the ER, but at the same time if there is that much of a demand maybe consider adding another nurse practitioner to help take the pressure off of the others.

I went to urgent care in Matthew's and stumble across this wonderful Dr.Wooster. what a angel. He automatically told me what was the problem and did not offer me surgery. To fix my issue I have to put in the work but I'm down. Anything so I will not have to get surgery. I thank him for taking his time to see me . It was late in the evening and we live New Amsterdam. Thank u! For your great bedside manner. Professional opinion and being truthful about my issues.

The Urgent Care experience was better than going to a hospital, I can say. They were caring of how much pain I was in and tried their best to not put me through any more pain than necessary. From the nurse to the radiology tech to the doctor & reception, they did a wonderful job with everything I needed while there. I would recommend there service to anyone.

My entire experience last night with everyone I came in contact with was great. The staff gave you the feeling they were glad you were there and genuinely eager to do what they could to make you feel better. Everyone cared about you! Alex, the PA-C that took excellent care of me, was engaging, friendly and willing to listen to why I was there. I would not hesitate in recommending this OrthoCarolina facility to anyone needing after-hours care. These folks were all great!

PA Ken, was amazing! He was kind and light hearted and made me feel extremely comfortable and safe even though i broke my ankle in 3 places. I was the last patient of the night with 8 minutes to spare until closing and he still took his time and handled me with the best care. He even gave me a call 45 minute later with recommendations. He said he treats his patients like family and that was the kind of care i received from him! 5 STARS !

Ms. Cumberworth, PA-C was a pleasure. She was very caring and knowledgeable about my injury and was also very concerned. And she was very pleasant to talk with.

Alex the PA was very professional and knowledgeable. She was highly skilled and knew precisely how to proceed to assess and identify my meniscus tear. I was very favorably impressed.

This place is worth every! Single! Star!!! They were professional, efficient, timely, and demonstrated a level of expertise and care that was reminiscent of the kind of quality healthcare that I haven’t seen in this industry for quite some time. They should put on a clinic for all of the other major medical corporations in the Carolinas. Bravo!

Couldn't make it until right at 8:25ish when Ortho Carolina's Urgent Care closes at 9pm & I was expecting everyone to be irritated at me when it was COMPLETELY THE OPPOSITE !!! ** The front desk staff was awesome & took time to show me an E-check in option on my phone so that I didn't have to fill out a bunch of paperwork !! ** They got me straight back to radiology where the x-ray tech was SO KIND & not only helped get my knee in the right position, but he also kept a smile on his face & was always looking out for my safety not wanting me to stand up & hit my head on the machine ~ just a super kind guy !! ** And then my doc, Dana, came in & she was very kind!! She listened to how I injured my knee, she was not rushing me at all, she did a thorough exam & explained the possibility of a meniscus problem & wanted me to follow up in a week with one of their Sports Medicine docs. ****She then took the time to actually double check what pharmacy would be open as we were after 9pm by this point !! After finding the pharmacy part of the CVS right across the street was still open, she sent a steroid dose pack for now & prescription ibuprofen for later!! **** She told me ice on my knee & heat on my back & even offered me a knee brace which I skipped for now. She also had already written in the notes for me to have a follow-up with an OrthoCarolina Sports Doc in a week to check my knee & make sure that I didn't need further scans for a meniscus injury !! VERY IMPRESSED !!! ** At check out the front desk had no problems making my appt for me even though we were past closing time by then !! My husband & I were thoroughly impressed as EVERYONE WAS EXCELLENT FROM START TO FINSH !!! THANK Y'ALL VERY MUCH FOR TAKING THE TIME TO TAKE CARE OF ME !!!!

I was told I wouldn’t be seen because I had seen an OrthoCarolina surgeon prior who had scheduled an MRI. Extremely rude staff who suggested I just needed to wait two weeks for an MRI rather than assess the issue I’m having in the interim. I would have gladly paid the copay to see the physician, not a moody receptionist trying to sell me a sling.

Took my son there with a big swollen, painful elbow and shoulder. They upfront collected $250 cash. Took him back to see a phys asst (even though cost was same as an MD). He didn't even examine or touch him. Just ordered a $20 sleeve and home PT. I had to ask for the exercise pages as we were leaving because they hadn't given them to us. We spent 5 min back there for that money. Total waste of time and money. Go to a regular urgent care or ER for better treatment

Front desk female told me to sign in, when I arrived I at 5:30. I sat and waited for 2 hours in a half. I never realized I was waiting that long because I was on my iPad. I got up, goes to the front desk and I ask did they overlook my name.. the lady said” you’re not signed in” I told her, I did..I signed in on the clip board like the girl told me to. She said no one never looked at it. So I’ve been here nearly 3 hours and this will be the last time I will come here. Bad CUSTOMER SERVICE and not once did she apologize, nor offer to put me ahead because I’ve been sitting so long!!! I work Healthcare and I never would leave a patient sitting that long!! Ridiculous train your staff better!!

Awesome care, my knee was so painful I cried the whole way in and was able to leave without tears. The staff were so kind from start to finish! I would definitely go back!

The wait time was minimal and the staff was very friendly. Very happy with the visit and the way information was able to be explained.
