Dr. Burbank is one of the BEST orthopedic surgeon I had. He did an amazing job with my ACL reconstruction knee surgery few weeks ago. He is very knowledgeable, caring and really takes his time to listen and provide detail information to his patience. Overall Dr Burbank, his PA Dr. Connot and his staff are simply amazing!!. :0)

Dr. Clark is amazing and I am grateful he was able to see my daughter who has been struggling with pain in her arm for a couple of weeks. However, his Front Desk check-in employee at the Pineville office clearly discriminates between white and people of other races. I arrived 15 minutes early because I had trouble signing in to the patient portal to consent for new patient paperwork. I signed the manual check-in sheet but approached her to let her know and she didn’t even let me speak and said that I would be called by appointment time. She take care of ay least three other white customers and delegated the other race customers to her colleague. By the time I was called up by her colleague, it was already the time of the visit and had to resolve the portal logging issues and complete online paperwork at that time. I didn’t see the provider until 30 minutes after. It is terrible that it is 2022 and we still have to deal with discrimination and when seeking healthcare.

Dr. Gart was chosen by Dr. Osier for me and she was right. He was everything I hoped he would be — kind, understanding, knowledgeable, and he didn’t hurt me too much. He was a pleasure to meet and to discuss my medical history and what I could look forward to. I was very happy after I left with everything. He was a lot like Dr. Osier, but I still miss her.

I would have given one star if Dr. Burbank wasn't such a great doctor. The manners of the entire front desk staff are just deplorable. They don't tell you until the day before your follow-up appointment that your total balance has to be paid off in full before you can come in to your appointment. They did try calling back later to set up a payment plan, but I have been making regular payments of all I could afford on disability checks since the day of my surgery. Prior to this, I made a mistake and showed up at the wrong time. After explaining this to the lady at the front desk, I was belittled and treated as if I were dumb. The time before that, at my first follow-up appointment, they tried to tell me that I was supposed to pay the balance in full before my appointment, and decided to blurt out my balance loud enough for the entire waiting room to hear. They said I would allow me to see the doctor that day because I was already there, but I needed to pay in full before I rescheduled. I explained the situation to Dr. Burbank, he assured me it was alright, to go ahead and schedule the appointment. Prior to that, I went to see Dr. Ahern for the same issue. Completely incompetent. You could physically see there was something wrong with my knee just by looking at it. Even after an MRI, Dr. Ahern told me that there was nothing wrong with my knee, and to get rid of my brace and trust in my knee. Two days later my knee buckled while going down stairs and caused me to fall. Dr. Burbank looked at my knee and the MRI and within 3 minutes knew what was wrong with my knee. I would highly recommend Dr. Burbank for knee surgery, if you have thousands of dollars and all the free time in the world to work around their schedule.

Went there to get my elbow looked at last Thursday. Purchased a sling to help with stabilizing my elbow. Was told I could return item within 7 days if didn't use. When I went to return item, the front desk said that we can't take slings back. Ask why then was I told I could? They said yeah sorry we don't take those back. They didn't care that I was misinformed. They didn't offer to help me at all. All they said was sorry. Like if I was told one thing then they should honor it. Especially since the papers I signed said nothing about couldn't return slings.

Finally, a doctor who listened to me and was honest about the next step for my knee pain. While we both agreed on the osteoarthritis in my knee, she said it has gotten worse and showed me on my x-rays which I really appreciate. She didn't rush or just disregard my questions. I ended up getting the knee injection, but she was so smooth and good with it .. I'm not good with shots, but when she finished I was surprised. Feeling better and glad I went. Highly recommend Orthocarolina and Dr. Greta.

My 12 year old has been in the care of Dr. Christian Clark for almost a year now and I must say he is God sent and I would like to thank him publicly for taking care of my son. We came to him with basketball knee fracture which could’ve changed our lives being that he has actively played basketball since age 5. With different opinions and this X-ray and that Dr. Clark assured me he would take care of my child and he’s done just that. I appreciate greatness and wanted to recognize him today and say thank you again for making us securely get back on track to life of sports. Job well done!

Both Greta Grant and the nurse working with her ( sorry, whose name I forgot to get) were so attentive, and skilled.. They took great care of me and my ailing knees. The cortisone injections given were gentler than any I’ve had before. All around a thoughtful, kind, caring experience with much needed relief for these achy knees. Thank you Greta and the Ortho Carolina Pineville staff for the excellent care. Sincerely, Charley Faulkenberry

Eric Heckman refused to come talk to me in person when I just had questions about care of a sprained ankle. Communicating through a nurse saying that nothing could be done because I got X-rays somewhere else. He couldn’t even have a conversation like a human with me, just basic questions about sprains, because he refused to even talk to me until I got their specific X-ray. I understand not being able to trust the word of another Doctor without seeing it yourself, but not having a human conversation with a worried patient is very rude. Other staff were kind + 1 star

Well I have to say that I arrived at 2:50pm and my appointment was at 3:30pm I arrived early because I was told that I had to be between 15 to 20 minutes before the appointment, I was attended after 3:30pm and the person who assisted me has a negative attitude towards dealing with people, I asked a single question about the co-payment and his response was in your card says so, from experience I know that depending on the specialist is the payment and it was my first time in this place. If I have to rate the attention of this person out of 10 I would give him a 0.

Dr. Todd Chapman is an amazing physician. He is thoroughly knowledgeable and patiently explains medical conditions and procedures so that you understand your particular issue and can feel confident going forward with surgery. He is also generous with the time he spends with you during visits before and after surgery. You never feel rushed and he gladly answers all questions and concerns. The follow up after surgery is excellent. You definitely feel that you are not just another patient and that all concerns whether big or small are important and addressed to your satisfaction. The staff at OrthoCarolina is also friendly and supportive. They answer the phone, follow up and work with you to arrange the appointments you need to provide you with the best care.

After a severe hand and wrist injury I was well taken care of by Dr. Gart and his staff. Very impressed with the work done & professionalism. Nothing short of a 5 star rating!

Dr Ahearn is excellent. He is friendly, professional, and courteous. He took the time to thoroughly examine me and provide his detailed assessment based on x-rays and physical exam. I was able to fully explain my conditions, ask questions and ask for clarification. I walked away very pleased that I am seeing a skilled and talented orthopedic physician and surgeon.

This place is the worst. Google took me to a different location. I called prior to the appointment and gave the person a heads up I would be 7 minutes late. The person I spoke with made a note of it, and stated there was a 15 minute window. There was a car accident right in front of Carolina Place mall, and this is what made me 13 minutes late. The receptionist gave me attitude about being late. I said I was told I had a 15 minute window. She said it was up to the provider. I don think she even asked the doctor, but even if she did I was never told this on the phone. I’m from out of town and I told this to the Receptionist. She didn’t care. Absolutely obnoxious and argumentative. If you want to be treated by a provider that treats you just like a number then this is the place for you! Otherwise there are by far better places to go with a little understanding and compassion and without all the nonsense.

It is unbelievable how little this place seems to care about their patients. From being mislead and given misinformation to multiple of my appointments being cancelled due to someone leaving early or scheduling something over mine. I can understand if it happens once but this is the third appointment that has been cancelled and instead of trying to figure out when I can come they schedule their own appointment and then make it seem like you’re in the wrong because you “cancelled” an apt you never scheduled in the first place after they cancel the appt you have. The last time I was in I asked if I’ll be okay til my next appointment due to not know what’s going on with my broken knee and they giggled and said idk while shrugging their shoulders. After my knee heals I will simply never return. BTW… Greta herself is GREAT! Nothing wrong with the doctor! She takes absolutely great care and is great answering all questions

My wife was there and had terrible experience. PA, Dr. Jennifer, just looked at the X-ray and told that she had no fracture. Apart from that no other discussion. Did not check anything else at all. Don’t recommend this place. If interested in giving free money, please visit here.

There's a distinct reason OrthoCarolina Pineville gets consistently high ratings - every single person working there appreciates patients and has a friendly, professional demeanor. I've relied on this practice for almost a decade and highly recommend it. Their patient portal provides very detailed information and scheduling appointments is a breeze. Kudos to all the staff, PA's, and MD's for operating a first-class medical facility.

The office was very nice and everyone I encountered was kind, funny, and personable. Dr. Burbank took his time, explained things out to me plainly & without making me feel like an idiot (as some people can), and answered my random questions. Highly recommend!

After years of trying to find an orthopedic doctor that I could trust (4 previously) to discuss my orthopedic issues, I was referred to Dr. Burbank. He gave me the attention I needed to speak about my previous and current orthopedic issues. I was always told I needed to lose 40+pounds before I was eligible for knee surgery, so I have suffered for over 5 years with pain and constantly falling to the ground due to bone rubbing bone kneecaps. Although I used a cane and sometimes a walker my knees would go out on me and I would still be thrown to the ground, and I am soon lucky I did not break a bone or something worse. Dr. Burbank said that I am eligible for surgery and that we will start with cortisone shots (due to my work schedule) and if I decide to have the surgery now we can proceed! Thank goodness I met this awesome and caring Doctor! 🙂

I hope you can help me Shannon and look forward to seeing you again soon in hopes of finding a solution to my back problems. What a great day it would be to begin living without back pain. I have a positive feeling about you. So thank you.

After dealing with severe sciatic pain for seven weeks, which rendered me nearly immobile, seeing two drs at different locations, having an EKG at one and x-Ray at another, I was stunned to find a kind, caring, understanding staff at Ortho! Each person did an excellent job; the receptionist, x-ray tech, the PA. I rate Dr Weaver as the Best! At 84 and having seen MANY doctors over the years and across the continent, I feel qualified to make this statement. He listened, understood, and explained in detail how to stop the pain. The next day after my appointment, I can sleep, and walk without pain! The greatest thank you to an OUTSTANDING Doctor!

The office was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and professional. I had some x-rays take and Dr. Burbank explained very clearly what he saw on the x-ray and listened to my concerns and explained my options for treatment.

Dr. Scott Burbank did my left shoulder arthroscopy and rotator cuff repair. He was recommended to me by some very trusted healthcare workers who I personally know. Dr. Burbank and his team were phenomenal. They took great care of me. They took time to explain everything in detail, and make sure they answered any questions I had. My surgery went very well. The care team managed my post operative pain well. I saw Tony Connot PA for my first post surgical follow-up appointment. Tony was also wonderful. I'm currently doing physical therapy twice weekly. Every person I've worked directly with, have been caring, empathetic, listened, were informative, provided detailed and timely communication, and treated me with respect and dignity. I couldn't ask for a better care team!

My experience at this location was phenomenal! The lady at the front desk was efficient and professional, and the nurse that took me to my room was also nice. I was seen on time and I felt like my provider (Dr. Gart) spent adequate time explaining my injury and talking through the options. I’m a little nervous about the surgery, but I still feel confident that Dr. Gart is going to repair my wrist effectively!
