Went to their office for my appointment. Was told I had no appointment made. I kindly showed the email their office sent me the day of making the appointment. The friendly receptionist went to the back to ask for help finding my appointment, I stood at the counter for 5 minutes, when the girl returned with another staff member I was met with smugness and a condescending tone. Regardless of showing proof that I had made an appointment, they still tried very hard to make it look like error on my side. Had they apologized and moved on to making me another appointment, I would have considered returning. Instead I was told they only had two dermatologist in on Friday and "could maybe try and see if they could squeeze me in", all again, in a ugly condescending tone. Will not return. Would rather drive to Charlotte than deal with this unprofessional ugly establishment.

This was a nightmare to get in contact with anyone. The entirety of my “treatment” I saw my actual provider for about 5 min total over the course of several appointments. It is $80 up front every single to be “seen” for 5 minutes and have the assistant do literally everything. God forbid you have any questions outside an appointment, or need a prescription made ON TIME AS PROMISED, because it won’t happen. I had to wait and send so many reminders for a prescription to be faxed, when it finally was it was “oh we have so much paperwork.” Meanwhile, you swore to me it was already done. Pointless lying and beating around the bush. You will also be speaking with the most condescending receptionists, how come any time I tried to call with questions and be put through its “well I guess you should’ve asked at your appointment” I guess YOU should’ve got a different job. I didn’t put you on the schedule, don’t act like it’s my fault. Quit or get a better attitude. Absolutely ridiculous staff, do not expect much.

Dr. Larry and the whole crew always take really good care of me. I am one of those people who is terrible at making time to take care of myself. The team at PPSD helps keep me on track with annual check-ups and any necessary procedures. Love this place!

Very disappointed. Was supposed to get meds for skin condition over a month ago. The PA . Sent in the pre approval for the wrong dosage. And a month later they still haven’t bothered to fix the problem.

Took my daughter here for eczema and an extreme months long diaper rash that the pediatrician and allergists could not clear up. She was already looking better a day later after seeing Dr Shepard. They were very nice and knowledgeable!

On 4/3/23 I had a breast augmentation revision with Dr. Lauren Hutchinson. I originally had under the muscle implants placed by another surgeon, at a completely different company, that went badly. I truly thought that I could trust Dr. Hutchinson with this revision. After paying over $12,000, I am left so embarrassed, and more importantly, with visible evidence of poor results and she has simply refused to correct what are obvious problems even though I have offered to pay a revision fee (and more). My implants are now over the muscle and I have significant animation deformity in my right breast (my implant moves whenever I engage my chest muscle); she has fully acknowledged seeing this and is now saying that it is normal not only for over the muscle implants to move, but for only one of them to be doing it and that, in her opinion, it is not worth another surgery to fix (please, look at the photos below and see if you would be comfortable wearing a swimsuit if your breasts looked like this). *What’s really bothering me more than anything is that I asked about her revision policy at my consultation and I was told that if anything was wrong after the 6 month mark, she would absolutely fix it. I have spoken with several different Plastic Surgeons and they all agree that over the muscle implants should never have animation deformity. Also, as clearly seen, my breasts are not symmetrical. My left breast is also larger than my right, which Dr. Hutchinson has acknowledged on several visits and then said that she doesn’t see the difference on several visits. She actually told me at our last visit that, and I quote: “at least they’re better than they were before.” (Anything would have been better than they were before. For $12k, they should be right, not “better”.) I am left now having to find another surgeon to try to make this right as Dr. Hutchinson and PPSD take no accountability for their mistakes. I have contacted the COO of the company and he emailed me to let me know that he was looking into it; that was a month ago and I’ve heard nothing since. I had to come back and edit this review to add that Dr. Hutchinson’s surgical coordinator is such a horribly rude and condescending person that had I met her prior to surgery, I would have found another provider. When I was having pain in my left breast, she wouldn’t allow me to see Dr. Hutchinson and told me that “if it’s that bad, go to the hospital.” If you have any experience with plastic surgery, hospitals are not going to help unless you have an infection or possibly a hematoma.(They will refer you back to your plastic surgeon.) The staff there is rude, but this woman has no business working in the healthcare industry at all. Please, RUN from this place if you are thinking of having cosmetic surgery because once they have your money, they are done with you! I do not want to see any other woman have to go through what I am going through right now. These photos are not easy for me to share, but if they can keep someone from making the same mistake that I did, it’s worth it to me. If Dr. Hutchinson is willing to leave me like this after a muscle repair on my breast, it’s terrifying to think of what she would do to someone who had an issue with a Mommy Makeover. There should be more accountability in this industry. Please, read reviews on RealSelf (a site dedicated to reviewing Plastic Surgeons) and be careful about who you allow to take care of your body. I’m going to attempt to post this review without pictures because it continually gets taken down (though I assume that’s being done by PPSD). That says all you need to know.

Absolutely love the staff and how nice everyone is especially in the surgery department I previously had a breast augmentation, and I was nervous and had so many questions, but I know I chose the right doctor. She’s amazing answered all my questions, and took all my nerves away. I recommend this office to anybody that I know of friends or family for any of their dermatology or surgery needs definitely a 10 out of 10 treatment. Dr Lauren Hutchinson and her staff made me feel so loved, and made me gain so much confidence in my body and in myself!

Dr Timmons and staff are phenomenal! After losing 90 lbs in 10 months, I went seeking info about a mommy makeover. Holly (patient care coordinator) is absolutely the best! She was always willing to meet with me and talk over my thoughts and decisions! Dr timmons educated me and helped me every step of the way. I wasn’t nervous at all for the procedure because they were there to answer all of my questions, any time, no matter how silly my questions seemed. Very good at communication! I am 3 months post op and couldn’t be happier with my results! I highly suggest Dr Timmons!
