We
took
a
staycation
in
the
area
and
decided
to
check
out
the
place
because
the
kitchen
was
open
late.
So
glad
we
came
in!
Parking
was
easy.
Location
is
right
by
the
river.
We
were
immediately
greeted
by
the
bartender,
Laura.
We
told
her
we
were
visiting
and
she
rolled
out
the
welcome
wagon.
She
told
us
about
all
the
local
fun
things
to
do.
She
gave
us
a
history
of
the
town.
We
tried
the
special
burgers,
fries,
macaroni
salad,
onion
rings,
chili,
and
cheesecake.
Everything
tasted
amazing!
I
thought
for
being
a
little
bar
it
might
just
be
frozen
pizzas
or
that
everything
would
just
be
greasy.
Instead
everything
was
seasoned
and
presented
well
and
the
drinks
were
great!
We
had
some
fun
cocktails.
The
other
customers
were
friendly
and
engaging.
Laura
told
us
the
history
of
the
bar
and
itβs
owners.
Itβs
great
to
see
a
place
with
so
much
heart
and
history.
Visit
on
a
Friday
when
Laura
is
there
she
is
so
great.
I
tried
to
tip
her
a
lot
for
her
hospitality
and
she
didnβt
want
to
take
it
all
(we
snuck
it
back
to
her
anyway
π)
the
music
was
also
fun
-
80s
rock.
Prices
were
very
reasonable.
The
kitchen
staff
was
also
really
fun.
Cheesecake
is
from
a
local
baker
and
it
was
ridiculously
good.
Thanks
for
the
great
time!
We
will
definitely
be
back!
