Beautiful mountain top place for peace and reflection. The story behind the cross is incredible and easy to follow. I highly recommend visiting this majestic site.

We absolutely love the ride to Bald Knob Cross of Peace. The cross and the view are magnificent. There is a very nice gift shop. Donations are accepted.

20230906 WOW! This place is amazing. Not only the cross and the history, the scenic view is spectacular! There is a gift shop at the visitors center. Janis, the lady who works there is so nice. I had a great conversation with her while I shop. Don't forget to say a pray while you are here, and pray for America, and the people around the world. Jesus is always listening.

Best place for a cold soda 6 miles from town. If you’re ever near be sure to visit the Cross. Signs start directing you in the area of Alto Pass, Illinois.
