Do not park in lots labeled Public Parking on Google Maps. I parked in the one off Hickory and although the whole lot showed up as public parking on the map the west side is a private lot and I was towed at a cost of $189. I was trying to go to the Denton Arts and Jazz Festival but couldn't find a parking spot. I got on Google Maps and found one a quarter mile away. My overall impression of Denton is that it is run down and not a modern city and has an unfriendly feel. There were a few bands and some random food trucks for the "festival" Needless to say I won't be visiting Denton again. Dallas, Fort Worth, and even McKinney are much better options in my opinion.

Voting here was a breeze (arrived about 7:45a). Easy to park. No wait time. Poll workers were kind, professional, and health conscious.

I came here for my sister wedding. This venue could use a few upgrades. It is large enough for you to use your creative talents to make this place come alive. There is free parking.

It was amazing 😉 we attended a beautiful wedding. Everything was great. The room was decorated so beautiful, it was breath taking it was amazing 💖💫💞

I actually went there to Vote, and snooped around a little. There is a little illustrated history on the main floor and an information window. There are quite a few pamphlets highlighting activities and programs for youth 14 and under which one might not be aware of, especially if you are a newcomer to Denton. Downstairs there is an open activity center that I haven't experienced, but I do know that there are plenty of hosted activities.

Went for early voting. People staffed for this were quick and made sure every felt safe that everything was clean.
