👍👍 My visit to DHCA on February 8th was very enjoyable. The entire staff was professional and cheerful. Diana and Tammy were especially caring and attentive. The complete exam went smoothly and concluded in a timely manner. People often mention procedure, nurse, husband, colonoscopy, facility, care, doctor, told,

Dr Murali Alloju & his staff are amazing. I was very worried about by routine colonoscopy. this was my first one. Like the nurse told me, Taking the Colon prep is the hardest part. I was worried about this colonoscopy for No Reason Whatsoever Over the last 6 months. I should have gotten the Colonoscopy done sooner. Took my bowel Prep on Monday at 4pm. Then the 2nd half of the prep at 630am on Tue. Then came in for my procedure at 1230pm on Tue. I was out of the Clinic by 130pm. The anesthesia is just too cool. One minute you are talking to the nurse, next minute its 35 mins past of real time and the procedure is over. They found 1 polyp and it was removed. I have a follow up in 5 years. Again, Thank u very much from all our family Dr Allajo and staff. Great work instilling confidence in ur patients. Also Free WiFi lets family members continue with work when they are your driver after the procedure.

I literally just left the Digestive Health Center of Allen from having my procedure and I was compelled to write this review while everything is still fresh in my mind. I would give the facility 5 stars if it weren’t for one particular employee by the name of Mary. I was there for a colonoscopy and if you’ve had one before, you know that the worst part is the prep. The procedure itself is a breeze. With that being said, Mary, the after care nurse, is horrible! Not only is Mary pushy but she’s unsympathetic. The receptionist, IV nurse, anesthesiologist and doctor were excellent. This procedure is stressful enough and having her be the last person you deal with is not good. I was literally awake for a minute or so and was still a little groggy after waking up and she said “okay sleepy head, I need you to start waking up” She said I needed to get dressed and I asked if I could have my husband help me and she said, “your husband isn’t here so I need you to try” and walked away. As I was getting dressed, I heard her call my husband and she told him I was ready to be picked up. She then told a coworker that my husband was 40 minutes away and that I wanted my husband to help me get dressed. My husband was 15 minutes away and was on his way back because the doctor had literally called him just a few minutes before she did and told him the procedure was over and it would be about 10 to 15 minutes for me to be released. I did arrive early so I understand that my procedure may have been completed earlier than expected but they did tell my husband it would be an hour 1/2 otherwise he would have waited for me in the office. When we left the office my husband was just as upset as I was. When he asked me how it went, I literally burst into tears, because I couldn’t believe what had just happened. Unfortunately, Mary is the last person I saw and dealt with because her bedside manner is horrible. I reached out to the office manager/director Jessica. I was informed that Mary is an agency nurse, so she is not a permanent employee at this facility. She apologized and was very sympathetic. She was disappointed that I had such a bad experience and assured me that it would not happen again. There are bad apples everywhere and it’s just unfortunate that I got one. All in all, this is a great facility. Jessica and the rest of the staff are fantastic.

From the time my wife and I arrived and left we were treated with respect, great customer service and care. I went there for a colonoscopy and was given the best treatment! When I went to the back area to go through the procedure — everyone from the nurses, anesthesiologist, and doctor were awesome! Absolutely nothing to worry about! You're put under during the whole colonoscopy. I do not have any memory of the experience. When I woke up my wife was at my bedside smiling and the nurse asked me if I was doing good. The nurse had a great sense of humor and the doctor explained everything very well. I recommend Digestive Health Center for their wonderful customer service and care they provide.

I had my first-ever colonoscopy at this facility, so not knowing exactly what to expect. The overall process from walking into the facility to being discharged was pretty smooth. However, I felt a bit being rushed both before and after the procedure. While I was still recovering from the effects of sedation, I was handed the report of the procedure and asked to get dressed to get ready to leave. I still had some questions about the report and wished to speak to the doctor, but was told the doctor was busy getting ready for the next procedure. Also, according to an earlier text message describing the process at the facility, I was expecting to be offered a bottle of water/juice AND some snacks like cookie or cracker, but I was only offered a cup of water, no snacks at all. I had been fasting for close to 40 hours, so anything to eat would have been highly helpful. One positive note is that the discharge nurse was very kind. She helped put me on a wheelchair and get me into my wife's car.

My first time. Everyone from the front desk, nurses and the doctor were excellent. It was quick in and out and the care was amazing, thank you all very much!

While the people there are very nice, their billing is highway robbery!! You have a surgery, and they use more than one "tool", they charge you for 2 surgeries. Ask questions before you have anything done here. They'll rob you blind and if your insurance is United Healthcare, they won't pay for it either.

Great service with colonoscopies, but not the most responsive nursing/receptionist staff. They wrote a letter permitting a 65 year old woman back to work the same day as her colonoscopy, and after requesting that be adjusted we never heard back from them. Would appreciate better closing of the loop for patient cases to minimize post-operative complications, but they just kept deferring this to PCP

Phenomenal Staff! I was a "First timer" but Janice put me completely at ease. Carol and Diana we're marvelous too. My only critique if you want to call it that is billing transparency and anesthesia options. I called ahead to find out and was told a dollar amount but the morning of the procedure it's revealed that you may receive additional charges. This is the facility fee. There may be other fees from the provider and the anesthesia team. It would be great to roll those all in together. I would strongly recommend receiving care here.

Do not go to see Dr. Maddala or associates. I'm a physician, and her level of care is atrocious. She was condescending, and her medical care was far below sub-par. The office has been so difficult, and they have billed me inappropriately for more than a year. I can't seem to get anyone to help me with this.
