I really liked this place. Kind of opposite of a dimly lit romantic spot. A brightly lit white walls and counters and an open kitchen. I thought the food was quite good. I'm no expert on Vietnamese food, but the bowl I had was very nicely prepared obviously very carefully prepared. Everything was very fresh and tasted very good. There are a lot of choices on the menu, and the prices are very reasonable. The guy who waited on us was awesome. He was very friendly and very helpful. It was just a really nice casual non-datey dining experience. ( Not that you couldn't take a date if you wanted to! ) I really don't like to give five stars to anything, but if I gave four stars it would actually lower their average and I wouldn't want to do that because that just wouldn't be right. So I say go there.

The pho was well seasoned and had a good amount of meats and noodles. The Hu Tieu was good but was sparse with its meats. The banh mi was supremely tasty, it was toasted well and loved it when pâté is on these sandwiches. The kids vermicelli was simple with no major spices that can offend kids’ pallets. The servers were very nice but the service lacked a little. I had to stand up and wait at the bar to get anything I needed. I wasn’t the only that had to do it. They were clearly staffed and it was about half full.

Quite possibly the best Vietnamese food I've had in a long time. And I'm Vietnamese. I had the noodle bowl with grilled pork, egg roll, and shrimp tofu. Had no idea what shrimp tofu was, but it became my favorite thing. It's in block form like tofu and fried, but it's made of shrimp. The flavor is just delicious! I loved my whole bowl. My husband got the pork chop rice plate and devoured it. It was also delicious. We're going back tonight to try other dishes, so may update this review soon. I also got the green tea guava boba drink. Everything was super affordable. I can't believe they don't charge more. The place got full and it was a Wednesday night. We went back tonight and again had a delicious meal. My husband got the rice plate with the same meats I got yesterday in the noodle bowl (grilled pork, egg rolls, shrimp tofu). He loved it. I got the combination pho and it was perfect. I also got the Thai Tea with boba and grass jelly. A 10ish year old kid and father behind me got the shrimp fried rice and I could hear the kid keep saying how much he liked it all through the meal. I looked around the restaurant and there were all smiles as people were eating. Again, it was super affordable. Two meals and a boba drink for $31 which included tax. I tipped 30% because the staff was so nice and helpful. Give them grace when the place is packed. They really work their butts off.

Excellent straightforward Vietnamese food! As usual, I had to ask if they put paté on the banh mi but they were out this time. However, it was excellent without so I didn't even miss the paté. The rice plate(#34) was an excellent recommendation by our server, I really enjoyed the tofu the best! @DallasFoodFun

This place is my favorite Pho place in the Dallas Ft Worth area. Their food is delicious, price point is good compared to others in the area, and you get a lot of food for what you pay for!

My first time at My Lan was yesterday, immediately fell in love!! The restaurant is very clean and super friendly. Food is exceptional amazing! I have had Vietnamese food everywhere from Vancouver to Vietnam. I am also Vietnamese, and My Lan is comparable to mom's kitchen. We ordered the egg rolls, beef vermicelli noodles, Pho, and mixed grill bowl with shrimp tofu. 😋 😋 Thank you!

Amazing place! Quick summary: Great food. Warm atmosphere. Awesome service. All around great time. Highly recommended. I will definitely come here again. Experience: We started off with spring rolls and egg rolls. We even made some spring rolls of our own! It was a fun and delicious experience. The fresh mint really heightened the dish. The peanut hoisin sauce took even further. There were so many great options that we ended up sharing a few entrees. The chicken w/lemongrass was flavorful and a clear favorite for a number of us at the table. The banh mi was excellent, with a chewy yet crispy baguette and flavorful beef. My favorite was the Korean BBQ beef short ribs. The flavor was incredible! It was well-balanced, complex, & savory. Before leaving, we got some Thai Green Bubble Tea to-go. It's was a perfect way to round out the meal. My Lan Vietnamese is a dining experience that I will always remember.

It was pretty 3.85/5. I liked the Potstickers the rice was well cooked and the meat tasted good. The soup, I neglected to take a photo of, had a very strong ginger taste in the broth. The shrimp was slightly burnt which overpowered much of the spring roll.

Portion is good and taste is also perfect. Their broken rice still offers the shrimp bean curd. I love it! Chef kiss!

This is a good Vietnamese restaurant. The service is very good. 4 stars because the PHO broth lacked a lot of flavor, seemed pretty basic. Other than that everything was good.

Me and my husband went there for the first time yesterday and we had no idea what to eat. The little man who served us was really helpful. We tried the beef with caramalized onions and the platter. It was really great. Extra 5 stars for server and chef for making us smile and providing tasty food. Will definitely check out again.

Best Vietnamese restaurant I've enjoyed in a long time. The restaurant itself is very bright and clean and the menu has quite a variety. I tried #43 vermicelli with tofu shrimp and grilled pork. It was so full of flavor, plus an egg roll which was wonderfully light and crispy, I prefer Vietnamese style egg rolls and these did not disappoint. In case you are wondering, tofu shrimp is a mix of tofu and shrimp sliced and lightly fried - first time I've had it and the flavor was fabulous. I've never seen it on a menu but I am sure to fit it in again when I return. There were 7 of us at lunch during the week and we split a variety of spring rolls which were good sized and very flavorful. Others ordered chicken pho, seafood pho, beef pho, shaken beef and Korean BBQ beef and everyone was very pleased including some that had never had Vietnamese cuisine before. The wait staff was so helpful in answering our questions and service was very good even during the lunch rush. I also tried bubble tea with guava for the first time and really liked it. The Boba was soft and chewy and guava added a little sweetness to it. I plan on trying the Korean BBQ next time. Highly recommended.

Amazing. Food was great and the staff was extremely nice. Definitely go with their recommendations. We were going to order something and they recommended the picture I posted. It was “steak and ???” I forget what the 2nd part was. Very delicious. Their iced tea was amazing too.

Cool little spot. Traditional spring rolls had plenty of shrimp & the peanut sauce was thick and flavorful. The shrimp & bbq pork pho was delicious. Plenty of noodles! Grabbed a jasmine milk tea to go & it was refreshing. Staff pleasant.
