We stopped here on October 6th, 2018 . The sign at the entrance has been smashed apart by vandals, so being the only vehicle at a hidden-from-view parking area, to be left while we were hiking away, didn’t feel safe. I have a legitimate interest in the history of the area and want to explore it as it is intended. It was uncomfortably hot and mosquitoes began to attack, so I will wait until after the first freeze , to return. January 21st, the freeze two days ago has assured us of a more sterile, insect-free experience. It was a perfect day for walking the dogs and riding bikes, as well as exploring the layout of this area. There were several other like-minded enthusiasts making use of this local treasure.

I've only been here a couple of times, but I think it's a wonderful and magical nature area. I love it here. Lots of wildlife despite being off the side of a busy road.

My vehicle was broken into and my girlfriends handbag had been snatched from underneath the front passenger’s side. The culprits had smashed my window. All her ids and other personal items including her cellphone were all stolen. Not a good an experience at this park … there needs to be video cameras in the parking lot. We had only been away from our vehicle for 20 mins when this happened. Please be alert someone is always watching and waiting…to commit a crime.

Park has a few miles of concrete bike trails. Lots of shade trees and picnic tables. Very beautiful place to get in touch with nature.

Lovely little park with paved walkways so it’s bike and stroller friendly. Big open area close to the river, and tons of picnic areas!

Wonderful trail, picnic tables tucked in to the edge of woods. Rushing stream when it rains. Woods and nature in the middle of the city. Love this place. Maybe I shouldn't have told you about it. 😉

It's a beautiful park & trail with lovely areas for BBQs. But beware, the parking lot is very secluded, surrounded by trees, and your car may be broken into, like ours was. They don't have cameras or police presence at all.

This is a real nice place all walking past our concrete there's no off the path trails bikers use this is quite a long path so back and forth they do let you know if they're behind you don't say on the left on the right or the ring their Bell it's got a nice duck pond I'm not sure exactly how long the path is but it's it's a good piece that's for sure we used to go there a lot I suggest you go check it out if you like walking and scene you know nature definitely return visit for us

Nice and very shady and never very busy or crowded. You have to deal with the occasional biker or runner. But mostly it's just people walking their dogs or walking by themselves. There's a wonderful area for picnics and gatherings.

Nice park. Hidden shaded parking lot. Lots of picnic tables and places to fish. No restrooms. Mostly shaded trail but it can get really muggy and have lots of mosquitos.

Beautiful area. Winding, paved path through tall trees, leads out into open pasture, across a flowing stream and more. This park is the entry to a path that goes all the way to River Legacy. Often see families pushing strollers. I've pushed wife there in a wheelchair. Last time I was there I stopped for a snack and make a bike adjustment, and there were so many butterflies!
