Cute little vegan spot hidden away in St Mathew’s. Had their protein rich bean chilli and cashew Mac and cheese. I did a dine in option, my only concern or suggestion would be to serve hot food in something other than the take away plastic containers.

Out of all the well known vegan places in Louisville, I think Half-Peach is my favorite. Their food is delicious, their staff is super friendly and they have a nice dining area where you can eat at! If you come, definitely get the cookies at least.

Good vegan restaurant- even for carnivores. Let's start out by saying I am a meat eater. Nothing crazy, I mostly eat chicken, fish adding a dash of pork and an occasional steak (medium rare). And as far as I am concerned, cheese is a building block of civilization. Half-Peach has non of the above serving only vegan food, and I didn't miss my meaty fare at all. A serving of nachos had the taste and flavor of cheese, sour cream, and season meat without using any of these items. Was it the best nachos ever, no. But they were far from the worse and something I'd order again. The shrimp poboy had something that looked like fried shrimp, but shrimp it wasn't. The vegan shrimp (however it was made) tasted like shrimp, but had a different texture to it when eaten on it's own.. However when eaten on the sandwich, I would not be able to tell the difference. While Half-Peach may never be a regular stop for me, I do look forward to going back and trying something new.

Wow. What a great place. So happy to find a vegan place with so much variety!! Had an artichoke pizza which is probably the best vegan pizza I’ve had. The cheese was not your typical gooey which I truly don’t care for. My daughter had the chicken fingers w/ bbq sauce which she approved of! Also grabbed some cashew cheese and ginger cookies. Cookies are soft and delicious, haven’t tried the cheese yet. 5 stars, will be coming back!

We were looking for some amazing vegan restaurants in Louisville and this was one of the top recommendations. And after our experience here, I can understand why. Food: It is a 100% vegan restaurant and has numerous options in terms of coffee, tea, smoothies, salad bowls, sandwiches and some Mediterranean stuff like falafel. We went for Banh Mi with a side of French Toast Bread Pudding and Falafels with a side of Scrambled Tofu. Banh Mi was amazing. The mixture of monkey head and enoki mushrooms with soy protein came across as great and the veggies complemented well. The bread was nice. French Toast Bread Pudding tasted great. Falafels on a whole wheat flatbread were great. What I loved about the whole dish was the proportion of filling to the size of flatbread which ensured no spill and a clean eating experience. Very well thought. However, the flop of the show was Scrambled Tofu which had good spices but was totally missing out on acidity. I would give it a skip the next time. For desserts, we went for Carrot Cake and Peach Ginger Almond Cake. We loved them both. Carrot Cake was a little drier than normal which could be improved. However, in terms of taste, both of them were great. Besides cooked food they also sell items like Red Tea, Kentucky locally brewed Kombucha and Cashew Cheese Sauce. Ambiance: Great and peaceful ambiance. It is not a large place but still has a seating capacity of about 25-30 folks. They have a large table, multiple small tables on the other side and a couple of round tables in the center. The overall ambiance is quite neat. Service: Good service and very friendly staff. We had our order prepared pretty much at the right time. Although the order of the food as it came was quite strange. We got the sides quickly since they were ready and by the time our main order came - Banh Mi and Falafels - we were done with sides. Having said that, the service was good overall. They have sizable parking outside. No specific parking for the restaurant per se but it is a general and free parking for the customers visiting any of the shops of restaurants in the complex. Overall, a great place for an amazing vegan meal in Louisville.

First time in Kentucky and we found this absolute GEM. The menu had so many incredible options that we had to taste test a little of everything. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Everyone we interacted with was so polite and helpful. So sad we don’t live in Kentucky because we would be regulars here! Can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!!

Half-Peach is the spot for chocolate chip cookies, pizza, sandwiches, and other amazing vegan food. They also have AMAZING cakes that you can just buy a slice of (great for non-vegan birthday parties). The owner is amazing, and the atmosphere is super cute especially with their new expansion.

Let me tell you now, I am not vegan. Nor am I lactose or gluten intolerant, so this was my very first time trying vegan baked goods. I do not know what magic they whipped up to accomplish this BUT the 3 items I tried tasted like the exact same as non-vegan desserts. Like, literally no difference. And I am absolutely addicted to baked goods so I have a lot of knowledge to compare! Lol. The two ladies that helped us were absolute dolls and they shared the creations they make that can even be ordered for a party like vegan sandwiches and/or vegan Mac and Cheese…! Now, before going to this bakery, I admit I was extremely hesitant to try anything (one bad experience with a block of tofu in 2007/2008 lol), but I would absolutely try ~ANYTHING~ these ladies would/could whip up. Master Chef’s with top notch customer service perfectly paired with their thoughtful creations. **Hands down 5 out of 5 stars** Items tasted: Strawberry poke cake Coconut cake Chocolate chip cookies

I went with a vegan friend, we order almost everything on the menu and it was all great. I am not vegan and I loved the food. Absolutely loved it and we most definitely will be back! I believe we spent a little over $100 but we ordered a lot of food because I was afraid that I wouldn’t like anything, so we just ordered 1 of almost everything.

Stopped by during lunch and got a last minute cake for my son's birthday. Realizing half way through it was vegan I was a little bit hesitant. The awesome lady there senced it and gave me a free cookie which was amazing. I was worried that because my cake I was ordering didn't have eggs and butter in it that it would taste different and people would notice. I kid you not, it was the best cake I've had in my adult life, one couldn't even tell if it was vegan or not. Which I think was a good thing. I will come back one day, I feel confident with their product. The main lady there was nice like family.

Owner graciously accepted my order short notice. The cake was amazing - dense like pound cake but somehow very moist, full of flavor, the icing was smooth and not too heavy. (Note - don’t leave out of fridge due to icing, but it’s still amazing served cold!) I don’t normally eat vegan, but I can definitely see ordering here again. I also tried a slice of the carrot cake and it was superb!

I’m a visiting vegan from St. Louis, and loved this place. I ordered baked goods to take with me for the team I’m visiting, and a chickn pesto pizza for lunch. Both were excellent, and Sue was wonderful to deal with in regard to the larger special order.

Such a great place! I have several allergies and the employees showed me several options I could have. The food was delicious. I even took my kids and they loved it!

Half-Peach is not near my house but we pick up take out at least once a month (and have since she opened years ago) because it meets all the criteria of our large family. It offers healthy, oil-free foods for the WFPB dieters and plenty of vegan junk food to satisfy those cravings. The food is consistent and amazing, with a wide variety and those qualities would earn a high rating from us alone. Having been patrons of this restaurant for years, we have gotten to know Sue, the owner and head chef. Her story of perseverance through hardship and what she has endured to keep this business going is beyond inspirational, but add in the joy that she exudes every time we see her and she is a documentary waiting to happen. We are proud to support her, and if supporting Half-Peach means eating it more… that’s no problem. Recommendations: buffalo pizza, drum sticks and the BLT in the deli! Can’t leave without some salted chocolate chip cookies. *Bonus- they made the most delicious cake and cupcakes for my daughter and son’s joint birthday in the spring! I plan to order my husband one next month.

Old cake. The cake tastes like the refrigerator. I ordered a cake to be picked up on 11/26. A birthday cake for a big event. They called me on 11/16 upset that I wasn't there to get the cake. I explained the cake was for next week. I had to throw the cake away.

I ordered ahead of time a spinach and artichoke pizza, and tres leches cake. Both were very good. The place is in an office building of sorts, in the back. There are two sides, connected with an open doorway. The first side has the counter, drink and dessert fridge, and the kitchen behind the counter. My food was ready. I took it through the doorway and sat at one of the empty tables. It was clean, quiet, and pleasant. I would come here again if I lived nearby.

Sue is so sweet and is constantly looking for ways to improve the business. Everything I have ever eaten here has been delicious, especially the cake slices! This is the best place in Louisville to get vegan desserts.

We were driving through Louisville on our way to Lexington and found this place in a Google search. What luck! The food was very tasty, and the portions were generous. I would definitely eat here again. The biscoff cheesecake is one of the best desserts that I have ever had.

Wow, I love this place! I found them on instagram when I was looking for a vegan and gluten free dessert for Christmas, and their Yule log (that was available gluten free, as well as regular) caught my eye. It was delicious! The buttercream was so smooth and the cake was rich. I honestly couldn’t believe it was vegan and gluten free. They offer so much here, both desserts and regular meals, that are all vegan and sound delicious! I also like that they have all their things labeled with allergens on their online ordering system, so I know exactly what I can and cannot eat. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying more things at Half Peach!

The pineapple upside down cake is to die for. I was hesitant trying something from a vegan bakery because in the past I have found that many milk free baked goods aren’t too good, but this place knows what they’re doing! This is literally the best pineapple upside down cake I have ever had.

A hard-to-find, sweet family owned and operated vegan establishment. One of Louisville's best kept secrets that should not be so secret! When we lived in Lou, we would order from Half-Peach when we had non-vegan friends visiting, as they have very approachable options. My go-to is the raw taco salad; my husband champions the buffalo chik'n pizza.

I only got the chocolate chip cookies but holy crow they are to die for! I am very picky about my cookies, and these were delicious. Soft, chocolatey, sweet flavors. I will definitely be going back to try their meals. My gluten free friend was so excited that there was something for him too as vegan and GF can be hard to come by.

the chick'n miso salad is actually the best salad i've ever had! the staff is also very friendly and gave us two free cookies over a misunderstanding. will definitely be coming back!

Just OK vegan food for me. Staff was just OK at being friendly and cashier wasn’t knowledgeable of the food or menu. For two meals and two drinks it was $24 bucks. My food, the Nashville chik’n’ and rosemary fries, everything was way too over seasoned. My wife had the pancakes and sweet potato bacon, pancakes were fine but sweet potatoes were over seasoned and burnt. Their condiment bottles were all sticky but full which means hey refill them. Not a problem but clean them at least. No napkins in sight, straws were out of stock. Won’t be back

The salted chocolate chip cookies are melt in your mouth. I have to limit myself to one a day when I buy the pack of 5 but they are delicious. I also loved the vegan BLTA. Perfect crunch to the bacon and the avocado was so fresh.

Adorable aesthetic cafe, all vegan menu with so many delicious choices. There was even a to-go selection of dated food you could grab for $3-6. Clean, nice environment with plants and art; staff service was good. Clean restrooms. We ordered the chili cheese fries, wonton soup, the Southern vegan chickun sandwhich and apple broccoli salad: everything was DELICIOUS. Best vegan soup I've had. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. 10/10 will come back again and eat here.
