Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Kengeri

Hindu temple Monastery Religious organization

👍👍 It is place to get peace of mind and connect with your inner self. There are other inspiring activities also that the math undertakes under the guidance of the head of the math Swami Amritageetanandapuriji

Superb calm setting, vibe in your body, takes you to a different level. Excellent place for dhyana and celestial energising. Ideal any day, time. Regular sathsangha(divine part) and pooja programs (commercial part) co-exist. Bhajans are real treat for your mind, and sooth the harried brain.

It's a ashram for vedic philosophy and general school for kids. Temple has 4 doors through which 4 different single idol with 4 different images are seen. One is shakti, others is ganaparhi, shiva and naga devatha. Every day around 7: 00pm mahamangalarthi takes place. Once in a year natha amruthananadamaye visits here or 3days. On these days to get darshan of Amma one should take tojen and wait for his turn. It may take hours to get darshan

This is one of the major branches of Mata Amritanandamayi Math (HQ Amritapuri, Kollam, Kerala). The place serves as the hub of all spiritual, cultural and social welfare activities of the Math in Bengaluru and nearby places. The Math's activities are guided and supervised by one of Amma's (Mata Amritanandamayi Devi) senior monastic disciples Swami Amritageetananda Puri. With his penance and Scriptural knowledge, he inspires thousands of Amma's devotees by being an exemplary figure in monastic life. The Math also manages, Amrita Vidyalayam, Senior Secondary School situated in the same campus. The Temple in the Math's campus is consecrated by Amma.

Excellent ambience. Three sides are surrounded by water. Amma is great but the Indians surrounding her are rude, selfish and egoistic.

Located at Jnanaganga Nagar this place is part of Matha Amruthanandamayi trust. They have a school within the premises and a temple for public to visit. Matha visits this place once a year and the place gets lively with loads of visitors trying to get Amma's blessings. Very quite residential locality surrounds this Ashram
