This is a great breakfast Cafe! It was very busy!! Definitely a place all the locals go to. Our waitress was extrmely friendly and attentive. We ordered breakfast and everything came out as described. The food was warm and tasted great. I highly recommend this little local cafe!

Village Inn is a Midwest staple, with a Denny's vibe, but the best Pie in America, you'll enjoy traditional and tasty southern and Midwest eats like Chicken Fried Steak, Pot Roast, Slow Roasted Turkey and all day breakfast. Service was good, food was nostalgic and tasty. Definitely stop by if you never been, grab dinner and a pie.

Love the pancakes. Good coffee, too!! Their pies are really tasty. Go on a Wednesday and get a free piece of pie with your meal.

The waitress was very pleasant however she forgot a couple of food items. She did remember and was very apologetic for it. The food was good except the gravy on a chicken fried steak very thin like they added water and tasted that way. All else was fine. The pie was a little small but in my opinion they are everywhere if they taste good.

There were many menu options to pick from. My only complaint was my food was barely warm enough to eat. If it had taken just a couple minutes more to be brought to the table it would have been cold.

The food was mediocre. Staff was friendly. I got the chicken fried steak. The chicken fried steak and the mashed potatoes were pretty good. Nothing special. My stuffing was kindof cold and the biscuit was pretty mediocre. My mom got a burger with fries. The fires ended up being too cold. My uncle got the turkey and said it was mediocre. Not a lot of flavor, but too salty. He was also really uncomfortable in the hard seats.

I ordered the best pie I have had since my grandma pie... This place is so cozy and welcoming. If I could I would eat here all the time

Sad to say but with many of the small town cafe's shutting down, Village Inn is one of the few places you can still get a good breakfast. The food is pretty good, the service was great, the table was clean. They were very busy but kept the place clean which is impressive.

I can only speak to their breakfast, but they have a nice variety and very good food. The service is prompt. Everything is clean and well kept. The atmosphere is somewhat historic, perhaps 1950s.

The food was ok. I ordered corn beef hash with hash browns and they brought me country ham instead. I thought it was a weird, bland version of the dish, finishing most of it until I realized my and their mistake. I’m not going back for breakfast or brunch. There are many better places in and around town. The rest of the food was bland. Nothing special to bring me back, which is unfortunate because I live about about a mile away.

This place is great! My family loves eating here. They have amazing breakfast. Wednesdays you get free pie and the pie is amazing. Great waitresses. The service has never disappointed me.

When we eat here, we typically do take out and it’s always been very good. The lady that takes our order is always so nice and when you go to pick it up they open every box and go over everything with you to make sure it’s correct. Never fun realizing you don’t have everything once you get home. I appreciate that kind of service. Definitely recommend.

Great pie! Service : the waitress had a large area to cover. She didn't seem shaken though and took it as it came to her. Super friendly!

When you crave breakfast and need that itch filled they have it all… So Yummy and will make it the way you want… So kind and Friendly also even if you order to go and they make a mistake on your order they will fix it… I just Love People and Places who still put you first and not worry about the next order and pushing you out the door… 🥰😋yummy Food and coffee… although I take my diabetic creamer with me… no one carries it!!

Friend of mine always bragged about this place. Live an hour away so most the time, when in Hutchinson, fast food. Decided today to eat here at the Village Inn. Did NOT disappoint!! Husband's pot roast was tender. My turkey was real, not processed, at least didn't taste like that. DELICIOUS!!

Nice little dinner with all kinds of good food. I always eat the unlimited fish and keep them coming with two sides. Not big on their coleslaw and fries so I like to do a side salad with broccoli. Staff is usually great. It can get a little loud when things get busy, especially in their kitchen. But they seem to always figure things out and keep things moving. I would recommend this place and love for all of you to give me your feedback on this place. One of my favorites in Hutchinson Kansas.

Even though they were really busy we still had great service. Friendly staff and they were doing a great job with checking on us and others. The food is delicious. Personally I have a hard time finding things that are dairy free but after looking I found something. They have some really good pies but again I can't have them. I used to eat them before I found out I couldn't have dairy. Nice restrooms, plenty of parking, and seating.

Food is ok. Much like an IHOP or Dennys. Service was horrible, asked waitress for straws and never got any. Waittress never checked on us or refilled our drinks. Most likely won't be back.

Update 03/18/21 food was very good, and service was better, had to keep asking for refills, server forgot lemons for teas, and ranch for frys.4 stars Update 03/11/21 food was good, service was very lacking. Joy was our server and would roll her eyes every time we asked for something. 3 stars GREAT food and service. 5 star

Good burger. Wifes omlet was great. Service was excellent. Clean, staff was busy not wandering around aimlessly. Will definitely make this location a regular stop.

Can't believe what a whole cost...for a long time they were 8 or 9 dollars...higher prices means more taxes too...no more for and others I know...some places taking advantage of the times...when did you ever see a menu go down again after it went up. ..frozen pies like at Braums with butter and sugar on top before cooking r pretty good..used to be Village Inn always had best prices for pies...not anymore

Truly pleasently surprised. The food was good, wait was short for a table (on a Sunday morning.) The waitress was slow but to be fair the place was packed. I would happily recommend the place without reserve.

French toast was on point and everything we had was amazing. Only reason it's not 5 star is they had a miscommunication between servers and sat us down and we didn't even order drinks for 15 min. Which wasn't bad because my wife and I got to talk for a while. If she was really hungry or if we had something to do later we would of just left. We will go back to give it another go and hopefully I'll edit this to 5 star

I've never been to a bad Village Inn, maybe I'm just lucky. Polite server, fresh food, clean restrooms and dining area. Coffee was fresh too.
