I've been here now 3 times. Honestly it's hot and miss on food, it must depend on the cook. The pretzels, ordered on all 3 visits (crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside) are delicious. The beer cheese served with them is good...if it doesn't have flour lumps (the rue isn't cooked/stirred while making). My first burger was a tasty treat, the seasoning was perfect, and the meat was juicy. My second visit, the burger was bland, no seasoning, such a huge disappointment. On my third visit I saw another customer with a lovely salad (Caesar salad). I ordered a chef's salad... I took a few bites and couldn't eat anymore. Bagged iceberg lettuce, a tasteless cucumber, and the blue cheese dressing tasted like nothing I have had before...not in a good way. It looked different upon arrival, and I never tasted blue cheese. If/when I return I'm not sure what I'll try, for such a lovely place the food needs improvement and/or consistency.

Love the atmosphere! We were visiting family, and we loved this spot in Hutch. It’s laid back, but a clean space. Food and drink were delicious. Only complaint is wait times. We waited about 20 minutes for two sandwiches and the restaurant wasn’t busy.

Weekend brunch was very good. Had an eggs Benedict and spicy bloody Mary. Big screens for the game. Really nice atmosphere, beautiful patio.

We went for Burger night which is on Monday. The burger was great and loved the fries, they were seasoned well. There's quite a variety of burger choices. I had the German burger.

Good beer, and the new food menu is simple, yet offers some perfect choices for a brewery. Food was excellent.

Love the atmosphere there it is a great place. I wished you would served a limited amount of Domestic beer. Your Brew is good but doesn't always agree with us. We would dine and hang out more if there was Domestic option, and I realize that is "competition" but it still revenue....some is better than none.

Have dined here on multiple occasions and the service is typically quick and efficient! Best time to go is Sunday brunch! I appreciate the quality of food here and the pricing is fair as well. The drinks are also well priced and strong-this is a fun and more upscale place to do a night out! Definitely is still a brewery but does not have a nightclub feel. This is the best place to eat and drink at in Hutchinson!

Service was great! Beer (flight) & Food (Cuban sandwich & buffalo mac & chesse) were good. We sat inside due to flies, however, the patio looks great.

Best restaurant in Hutch. Genuinely friendly owner and staff, world class beer, and the food is far beyond the normal fare served at breweries, best fish and chips I've ever had. Beautiful patio and pergola. Dog friendly!

I am ALWAYS on the hunt for a delicious Reuben, and I found one here! I had a flight of beers highly recommend if you haven't been here (I hadn't). My husband had a club. The hand cut fries were fantastic! We came in at a weird time of day, so we were the only patrons at the time. Otherwise, I imagine the atmosphere is fantastic. We don't live close by, but my next visit this would be a go to stop for me! I was do hungry I forgot to take pictures of the food πŸ˜„

They have some great beers here and some pretty good food. I'm giving 4 stars because the outside seating area could be a little more well kept and the server didn't check in as often as one would like. I'll definitely go back tho πŸ‘

Really nice pretty place. Beers just did not grab me. Sort of flat and not exciting. Sorry. Excellent outdoor area.

Came here to check out the beer, being one of two breweries in Hutch. They have several different varieties, a liquor selection, and food. For me though, this wasn't for me, I didn't really vibe with the atmosphere, which is geared toward a family friendly sports bar vibe. Doesn't mean it was bad, just not my type of place, I prefer more lowkey, chill. Can't go wrong if you want good beer and some food though.

This was mine and my husband's first visit. The food was phenomenal! We tried the white cheese curds appetizer. My husband tried the Bacon Jam burger, and I tried the BBQ burger. They were definitely good, but we both left super full. Definitely will try again.

I live in Pensacola, Florida and was visiting my son who lives in Hutch. Atmosphere was very comfortable upon entering the door. First visit was a Thursday night which is prime rib night. I have eaten prime rib across this country and am not a foody per say but I know what taste good. Prime Rib @ Salt City Brewery is OUTSTANDING!! Have also visited many a brewery and the Blond Ale brewed on site will not be beaten. Met the owner Steve and his son (these people had never laid eyes on me) and was given a tour. To make this shorter than I want to, I was in town 5 days and ate there 3 days. If you go to Hutchinson, Kansas for anything, or live there, you will be doing yourself an unjust if you do not try this place.

Food was good. But kinda pricey for what it is. Had an obe issue with sandwhich that was cold. Waitress fixed it but by that time I was over half way done with mine. Side salad size was fine but just mainly lettuce, 3 croutons, 2 cherry tomates, very little cucumber and onion. Irish stout was ok. Says it is a Guinness on steriods idk about that

We ate here last night and they were packed. Unfortunately they were out of the special which was prime rib but we had salmon and a bacon burger that were good. We will try again next week to get the prime rib! Our waitress was Amanda we could tell she was busy but she made sure our drinks were full and checked on us often with a smile on her face. I hope we get her next time too!

Came for dinner with son and friends for a graduationnget together. Nice place, we felt rushed 1st of all. The waitress kept asking us if we were ready to order. Appetizers werr barley ordered. We felt like they were trying to get us in and out. When we were ready to order, they didn't have anything we wanted on the menu. I wanted the prime rib sandwich, and another person wanted the prime rib, nope sorry we are out @ 6pm om Saturday. Ok, let's get some wings... nope, we are out. Really? What do you have? The food was good. I got a Reuben. Was pretty good. I was kinda small sandwitch for the price but was enjoyable. Enjoyed the fried pickle sticks. My wife got a big pretzel and was pretty good with beer cheese sauce. We got some chips as well they were ok. Everything was pretty salty, I get it keepmem thirsty. The owner, I guess he was, spoke with one of us and appoligized half heartedly in my opinion and tried to blame the waitress. Didn't think that was cool. Again, I think they were expecting a bigger growed later on and felt rushed, I never even was offered a refill on my drink. Inasked for a to go cup and got it, but guess what, there were out of lids πŸ˜†. This maybe a local favorite, but to be out.of so.many food items on an early Friday evening is not good. I'm my opinion. A lot of potential here.

Ended up here on trivia night. The place was lively and fun! Our server was very friendly and efficient with her service. The Cherry Wood Blond beer was delicious! I drank that most of the night! Great spot in town! Would definitely return if I come back to the area!

Sunday brunch, nothing special, nothing wrong. The French omelet is the folded variety, small and flat yet the same number of eggs as the larger whipped omelet other chefs prefer for the French style. Both styles legit, simply different executions. Somewhat dry, but still good. The eggs Benedict is a much better choice. Beers were good, if not adventurous. Two Belgian styles during our visit a strong and an amber with the nod going to the Strong.

Fantastic not so hidden gem. Great atmosphere, food was excellent and our drinks were on spot. Staff was prompt and refilled fast. I'm not native to Hutch only coming to town for a meet up with a special lady. This place is definitely on the revisit list.

Eggs bene was really good. Yum! Burger not great. Fries were cold. Actually, nothing was hot, and it took quite a while to get our food. LOVED that there were dogs there.

We love Salt City. The atmosphere, the people, the amazing changes you have all made these last few years! So fun! The service is always a little slow and the food is hit or miss. But overall, we always have a good time!

Good beer, good grub. Not the best beers I've had, but good. They were out of a couple of menu items. I get it, the supply chain is out of whack. Nothing blew us away but everything was pretty good.

This is a newer place. Nice layout, plenty of space. They have some resident dogs that live there and are very friendly. Being new, their menu is a little limited. Good beer selections. Very prompt service.

Fantastic environment, delicious food, and great beers. Overall an excellent place but I’ve experienced some frustrating inconsistencies. Here are a few examples: Can I get a growler to go? Nope sorry, we aren’t doing those today. Access to ping pong or pool? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. No clue until you show up. Can I order off of the pizza/appetizers menu? Most of the time yes, only after the chef closes the kitchen, but not always offered. Again, no clue until you show up. Side note, if people are asking to order frozen pizzas while the chef is there, what does that say about your menu? Nothing terrible, just small frustrations. With all that said, I still highly recommend this place and label it the best hangout in Hutch.
