Met some great friends first time I've eaten there in, well let's just say since I was younger. Every one of our meals were wonderful, from liver and onions to the rib-eye medium-rare, the sweet potatoes were absolutely tender, salad and homemade salad dressings were outstanding. Great hostess, Emma. The manager went out of her way to help us take pictures of Great Moments and told us a little bit about brief history of Airport Steakhouse. If you haven't visited yet recommend the Airport Steakhouse highly!

We love this place. We have dinner here but more often we go to brunch buffet on Sunday’s which is very good. We are always pleased with the service and staff is very friendly. Selection on the buffet for brunch is very good, there’s something for everyone. The salad bar is great if you’re looking for a big salad. You order off the menu for dinner, no buffet at dinner. And the atmosphere is really comfortable and cozy.

Will not go back. Beautiful place, but the prices were outrageous and the food was so bland. Got the ribeye and it was so chewy i thought it was a charcoal chuck steak. Waitress was nice. House salad tasted like Kroger lettuce. Bill was over $100. Again, cool place, but for a $30 steak I expect ROYALTY! I would say %40 of the steak was fat. Not cool. Pass the A1 sauce.

This place was very disappointing for brunch. I was under the impression that brunch includes more breakfast options than just eggs, bacon and sausage. There was a salad bar, fried chicken (my mom was not pleased with the chicken. Said it was bland), fried okra, mashed potatoes and ham with gravy. There was also fried fish that my mom couldn't eat because it was not cooked all the way. When I asked if there was going to be more breakfast options they said no, that the eggs, sausage and bacon was really their "breakfast". They did have a selection of pies and cream puffs but the pie was not tasty. Very odd brunch selection. Felt more like dinner with all the vegetables and fried food. Only gave two stars because at least the service was good and the staff was friendly. Not worth 20$/head if you want breakfast brunch. Good of you just want a regular dinner buffet for breakfast.

The food is very good and the service is decent although there are some staff that can seem a tad bit rude. For the price you pay for the food you would expect a little bit more respect from the staff especially when respect is being given! We always tip well above 20% and never make a scene even when things aren't correct!! But to have wait staff bump you with their rear-end as they are passing without as much as an apology is just very unprofessional. I will say the food is very good as usual but with prices like this I would expect over the top service from the staff.

Great airport based restaurant. Well decorated and clean. Doesn't have the feel of a church social hall like a lot of airport cafe's do. While most people get the buffet you can order off the menu as well. Full bar for your passengers. Tower is nice and there are a number of approaches if you are coming in IFR.

The food is good, the service is a little slow. The prime Rib was OK, but the KC Strip and Twin Filets were great!

A small- ish restaurant that has a great atmosphere and interesting views. Plenty of planes coming and going. The interior was well decorated with various airport props, photos, and plane items. The food was amazing and staff were very nice. I had the surf and turf and the shrimp, steak, and sweet potatoes were delicious. The potato was so soft and perfectly done. I had just enough for some leftovers today as well. Yum!

Very nice dining experience

They open at 6:30 to allow our Christian Mens fellowship breakfast every other month. And give us great service and a wonderful buffet. Thank you Airport Steakhouse for letting us have this time of fellowship and prayer.

I ordered their lunch buffet and it was fantastic! They kept the buffet filled with food. Only $8.99 for you can eat!

Tried this place on a Thursday afternoon when we were in Hutch. The service was good, place looked clean and it was a nice view of the little runway. I had a tenderloin filet, garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. The steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Loved the homemade potatoes. The broccoli was steamed to the right tenderness but I had to add some butter and salt, which wasn’t a big deal. Husband enjoyed his ribeye and we’re glad we stopped here!

I was less than impressed. My steak was barely on the edge of how I asked for it. Medium rare. One side was on the flame for too long. It was still medium rare, but barely!. It was not complain to manager worthy but I was NOT impressed. My wife compained that her steak was not cooked evenly. Some bites were overdone some bites were right and some were under done. The manhattan was amazing. My wife had some sort of a peach beverage that she really enjoyed as well. We also had the boom boom shrimp. it was pretty good. The service was pretty good. Overall, we spent less money at a steak place in Wichita and had a MUCH better meal. IF I return it will be to try their more affordable entrees, mostly for the airfield view.

The steak my mother order well done was very raw for her, the fries were way over seasoned. Then the waitress couldn't bring drinks fast enough to wash the seasoning down. And our waitress was super duper slow. There was maybe a total of no more than 15 people and everyone's food come out super slow. My lady had the salmon and she said it tasted like it had been dead for a month before they cooked and served it to her. I got the chicken fry, which was a decent sized chicken fry, 90 percent of it was batter. Super disappointed in it. It was around an hour and 45 minutes before everyone had everything they ordered. Needless to say anymore we won't be coming back under new management. EVER. If you want a good steak, food and overall dining experience save your money and go to Texas T-bone on 11th street.

So I'm working in Hutchinson for the week and this place was recommended to me by a couple locals. It did not disappoint, the food was awesome with a cool atmosphere. I left with a feeling of satisfaction and even thought about how great it was the next day. I highly recommend!

It was a mice cozy atmosphere. The service was great and the food was delicious. I had the filet with broccoli and brandy sauce. It was suburb. I highly recommend this place.

Did Sunday brunch all you can eat buffet. beautiful. As far as i know it's only Sunday they have the dessert bar, the bread pudding is phenomenal. They had a taco section, the enchiladas are great. Of course bacon and sausage and unlike most places the bacon smells great which most places it smells great but it tastes as good as it smells most all you can eat they smell great but they don't taste great this place knows how to do bacon and buy the right Bacon.

Sundays they have an all you can eat brunch buffet and it's delicious. There is a continuous flow of freshly made food and dessert. The wait staff have all been super nice as well. Great place to eat and if you are lucky you can watch planes land and take off while you eat.

Our boss paid for our crew to eat here. We all had the Buffet. OH MAN IT WAS VERY GOOD! I love their fried chicken & shrimp the most. EVERYONE else, I think (almost 30) enjoyed it, too! HCC Janitorial workers.

This was a great evening. The setting is very nice and the waitress was excellent. We had a party of 11 and they worked us in quickly. My wife got the filet and it was one of the better ones that she has had. I got the liver and onions and they were excellent! I also had an old fashion that was very good. I highly recommend the airport steakhouse.

I got the chicken fried steak the last time I came here. It was the best. Extremely delicious and tender. The mashed potatoes and gravy were very good. The broccoli was good. Service not that special. They were short staffed for one thing. I wouldn't call this a fast food restaurant that's for sure. It's really cool when you can see planes taxiing here. The first time I came here I got some kind of steak. Probably one of the best tasting steaks I've ever had. I love the boom boom shrimp. Highly recommend that for an appetizer.

Food & staff were great! My only "complaint" was that it was pretty chilly in the restaurant. But I would rather by chilly than hot. We'll definitely be back. (with a sweater lol)

My ribeye was one of the best I've ever had, and I've eaten a few over the years. The baked Mac and cheese wasn't much to write home about, but the fries were great. The bread pudding rivaled the phenomenonal steak for the highlight of the meal. A hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps helped to beat the frigid weather when I first came inside.

This place has amazing food, it has a wonderful atmosphere, it is very welcoming as well as the waitresses and staff. Every piece of food or sauce I tried was very flavorful and was just very yummy. The pies oh my they were so good! The fish the chicken just everything was on point. If I could give it 10 stars I would.. amazing service, friendly staff and just wonderful food. This might be a weekly stop for us now

We tried this place because there was a coupon on the back of one of the tickets for one of Hutchison's attractions. We wanted to try somewhere new. The first thing is this is at the airport...the decor was outdated and some of the upholstery had tears in it. I ordered prime rib and could not eat any of it. My husband's pasta tasted like it had dried flavoring added to it and it wasn't completely stirred in. The wait staff and what could have been a hostess were arguing about employees loud enough and within earshot of our table. Considering we were the only ones there their conversation could have been taken elsewhere. The whole dinner experience is one that I just want to forget

I have always loved Airport Steakhouse. But the chicken was over crispy Thursday and the ribs were cold. I'll give them another chance on another day...

Nice atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Food was great. We were spaced out from any other tables. Very enjoyable experience. We will go back.

First time there last night. Ordered a medium rare ribeye steak, salad and baked sweet potatoe. It was all on point. Loved it. My steak was for sure on point and was even perfectly seasoned. I would definetly go back and I recommend this place. My whole work crews food was on point at that.

Good food, good service, excellent airport dinning. I’d give 5 stars except they were out of the daily special and the French onion soup tasted odd (with big onion chunks instead of thin strips). The prices are very reasonable too. The Creme Brûlée cheesecake was really good! (Please “like” this review if you found it helpful.)

Absolutely wonderful. Steak was seasoned to perfection and cooked well, service was great. In addition to steak, I also got a side of mac and cheese which was surprisingly good. All in all good experience. Don't eat here if you're in a big hurry though, the food took a while to prepare (as it should), but it was well worth the wait.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! I got the sirloin and my husband got the Jack Daniel's sirloin. Both were extremely flavorful and cooked exactly how ordered. The baked mac and cheese was to die for! They have a great wine selection at reasonable prices. The staff was helpful but not intrusive. They even did their best to make sure I got a good video of a plane taking off! Will definitely be visiting again!

Linda is an amazing server! Everything was absolutely wonderful, rib eye steaks, with green beans or a baked potato and the shrimp as an appetizer. I will definitely return. They also offer kid meals, my son had the corn dogs and was very pleased.
