Establishment was clean, nicely decorated and had a good atmosphere (it was a little loud). The staff was friendly and helpful, our waitress was genuinely interested in our happiness with our meals. We had the cheese fries appetizer which was good but it felt like it was missing something. Some sort of seasonings or a sauce to dip them in might make a difference. My gf had the sirloin with mashed potatoes and a side salad. Her steak was cooked perfectly to order and she was very satisfied with her meal. I had the chicken fried steak with fried okra and mashed potatoes and I was very happy with my meal as well. Price was good for the quality of the food. I would definitely eat here again and recommend to others!

We LOVE this restaurant!!! It is a 45 minute drive from our house, but it is so worth it! Best cheese fries ever! The chicken fried steak is amazing! The staff is always so welcoming it makes you feel like family! It is one of our favorite date night adventures!

Not only is the food great every time we come here- the service is top notch. I let the staff know through the waitlist that it was my husband’s birthday, and they went above and beyond! They gave us a free dessert to go, and even had the staff sign the box! The server was attentive and personal even on a crazy busy night! Overall one of our very favorite places!

I traveled to Burton from west side of Wichita to try this small town restaurant. The food was delicious. I had the Barn Bowl, which consists of corn, mashed potatoes and gravy, topped with chicken fried steak or chicken. I had the steak this time. I also had fried okra. The hostess was charming and bubbly. My waitress was quick and also pleasant. The atmosphere was interesting, having memorabilia representing the significance that agriculture has in rural Kansas community's.

Well worth the drive for the pork chops, nachos, and the shotgun shrimp! The shrimp was such a tasty surprise, and if you like blue cheese their dressing for the dinner salad is very rich.

Its perfect. We love the Barn. Came here for years. Food is amazing, great atmosphere. Waitresses are caring and helpful. Tried many things and the Pork Fritter Sandwich is still my fave. Hoping someday the bands on the weekend will be back. 😊

The place was very busy, so parking was a bit of a problem. They do have handicap and veteran parking. Our server was fantastic. Fast, courteous, and accurate. We had gone there specifically for the chicken fried steak, but started with fried pickles. They were fantastic. A bit of spice to them but they were great. Then we had the chicken fried steak. It could use a bit more seasoning, but the meat was fork tender, you truly didn't need a knife to cut it. Being a bit away from the city, I was nervous, as 2 of us are transgender. At no point did we feel out of place. This was just one visit, so I can't say for sure that this is LGBTQ friendly, but it definitely was when we went.

Great food large portions. Very reasonable prices. We told them it was our first time there and they took extra time going through the menu with us pointing out favorites and what was included with the meal. They didn’t mention the rolls that came out. Wow! They were great. Light fluffy big with cinnamon butter. Definitely worth the stop.

We stopped here, had the ribeye steak with vegetables and fruit. Also brisket salad. Food and atmosphere was good.

Love the food and building! Was freezing in there and my wife didn’t stay until meal finished cause she was so cold. Said couldn’t turn it up cause the kitchen workers were hot. Food was excellent though. Had Chicken Fried Steak and Prime Rib. Excellent.

The food was delicious! This was our first time here and our waitress was very kind and answered all our questions and made recommendations. The corn nuggets were the excellent! The fried cheese was too well done though. My biggest disappointment was they had sold out of the chocolate sheet cake for dessert. This place is worth the trip!

As a first-time customer from Wichita, I didn't know what to expect. Originally, I didn't even want to come because it's hard for me to want to try new places, but I'm glad I did go. As this restaurant is in a small town and is quite busy, you do have to be patient for your food, so I do suggest ordering some appetizers before your food comes out. My family went on a Friday night, and it was packed and had a 45-minute wait. Thankfully, I did order a few appetizers before the food came out and even sat at the bar waiting for our table to open up. The food was great, the atmosphere was great, and the service was great.

Bit of a wait , however it was a Friday evening. Had we been there just 15-20 minutes earlier. Most likely very short if any. Dinner was delicious. The hubs and I shared the Friday night special, Prime Rib. Plenty for both of us. The diners with us had the chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak bowl, and a wrap. The young ones had the little kids cheeseburger meals. Dessert had maybe close to 8 options. The SIL had the carrot sheet cake. Our waiter Austin was very helpful and pleasant. We will have to come back and try some of the other options on the menu!

We attended a wedding rehearsal and had a room reserved. It could not have gone any better. We live in Benton Kansas and we drive up to the barn quite often to have a meal, simply because the food is so good and the service is great. Thank you for a great evening.

Very nice atmosphere, staff is so friendly and helpful. Food is always amazing! We placed a to go order. It was ready fast, fresh, and hot. Homemade food, fresh rolls, and a good serving. Have ordered to go a few times and have never had any issues. They are definitely packed on the weekends!

Great service and food, the only complaint I have was that our table was super wobbly... but other than that, was definitely worth the drive!

We stopped in around 2 on a Saturday. It was not a busy time so we where seated right away. We got the sampler of 4 different appetizers which was good. The portions are huge so we had plenty to enjoy later. Definitely worth a stop in if you are that way!

My first trip there, it took a longer than expected. But on a Friday for a small restaurant/bar. Pretty solid. Sat at the bar around lunch. The couple guys to my left. Had a hamburger, which looked amazing, and the other guy ordered I think nachos. It came out, which I can only describe as your grandma’s flour sifter, and piled up on his plate after it was delivered to his seat. The guy to my right had the what I guessed was was the “lunch” potion of the chicken fried steak special for Friday. Certainly a generous lunch potion, in my option. Me, I had the patty melt, choice of a bunch of sides. Sandwich was pretty d—n good. Very friendly staff, very funky, family friendly place. Certainly on my go back to list. If you are anywhere close to this place. Please stop, if you have a few minutes

Delicious food. Love the experience. Ordered Chicken Fried Steak Dinner with French Fries and a side salad. Appetizer was Fried Mushrooms. Couldn't resist taking home some carrot cake. Always a great place to eat!

Nice food at a nice place. The food is good and plentiful. The server was attentive and very nice. It feels large and spacious inside as well. We ordered an appetizer and it came immediately. Food took a little longer and was good. Even the kids meals were huge though the only drink options for them are soft drink options (vs juice or milk). We are glad we stopped here to eat.

Had the Thursday Special. Baked Ham, a roll potatoes a vegetable...all tasty. Large portion..but the meal could have been hotter. Roll was cold. As you can see I consumed most of it so only complaint was the temperature if the food.

My first experience here was absolutely amazing. The chicken fried steak was the best one I've ever had. Also its HUGE. The Shotgun Shrimp was amazing as well. Great atmosphere and very friendly service. I will definitely be coming back here everything I go through town. I will be recommending this place to everyone.

We have only been seated for about 5 minutes or so, but so far everything has been wonderful. Our waitress was phenomenal. She worked for and earned her tip from our table. People should not shy away at the prices. You get way more food than you can comfortably eat for the price. My wife and I both ordered the chicken fried steak dinner. It comes with a large chicken fried steak, smothered in white gravy a dinner roll and your choice of 2 sides for $18. Neither my wife nor I could finish everything on our plate because there was SO much food. So much in fact that between our two plates and the starter, we are taking home 3 carry-out trays. ⚠️ Word of warning ⚠️ If you plan on ordering the slop bucket nachos... it is a LOT of food for a starter. It is honestly more than 2 people can eat, so bring plenty of help if you plan on tackling this monster.

Went before the Friday evening rush. Not crowded with great service. Food met expectations as a first time customer. Group of five and all said they would return.
