Nice place to take my littles with special needs where we can get in and out quickly if the need arises. The zoo has seen better days, but... it's free so can't complain too much.

Carey Park has something for everyone, be they children or adults. I believe it hides perhaps its best content behind a large dike - the beautifully flowing Arkansas River, small strips of woodland, and a constantly changing riverbank. I have fond memories in this area of playing guitar with friends as we stargazed long into the night, dreaming about the future. Go off trail. Explore. There is so much more than meets the eye here.

Lots of different playgrounds as well as picnic spots throughout! We took a bike ride along the path that circles the park and it was a smooth ride that went right by the river. We saw some disc golfers and kids on the ball diamonds. The park was very clean and while lots of people were there, it's spread out enough that it didn't feel crowded at all. We will definitely be back next time we're in Hutchinson!

I grew up here and visiting this park brings back great memories. The still keep it maintained, manicured very well.

Its pretty good place.. Could do without that stickers. And some of the play areas need updated. Bathrooms need kept up better and lights.

One of the most serene spots you can go to. My partner and I often come hear to eat meals, walk our dog, and watch the geese swim around the pond. It's largely clean and well kept, which is a lot to say for a space this large and frequented.

A peaceful place to hang out and give thanks to God for all the blessings in our life. Especially our loved ones, as in my case, my beautiful, adorable wife whom I love so much and our teenage son in whom I am so proud.

A peaceful place by the water ponds; enjoy lunch there; lots of people enjoying feeding ducks and fishing; a perfect place to enjoy the afternoon and evening

I really like going with my dog and see the baby turtles swimming in the pond that my Father help put together years ago. Love the memories.

Great place to stop on our way across Kansas. Carey Park has a couple different playgrounds! One for 2-5 year olds and one for 5+. There's also a zoo but we haven't been yet. They have restrooms and picnic tables in shade to stop and have lunch.

I travel for business to Hutchinson and just discovered this gem. The 2.4 mile loop around the golf course and along the Arkansas River is a great place to exercise after work. I am looking forward to a round of golf in the future.

A sprawling park next to the Ark River. There is the city zoo, city golf course, city pool, several softball/baseball fields, disk golf course, at least 3 different play grounds, walking paths, and more plus you can cross the berm and wade/swim in the river though you need to be careful of broken glass from the last 100 years or more. Always a fun outing for the kids.

Generations worth of fun. Wedding gazebo, several playgrounds, golf course, duck pond, walking and biking trails, swimming pool, zoo, community building, fishing pond, disc golf course, river adjacent.

It would be a beautiful park but it is so dirty and unsafe. Ive found needles on play areas and there's so much broken glass... not even worth the risk.

The park sucks they have that space and don't do anything with it. They could install those outside workout machines for one maybe an ice skating rink would be nice and one of those driving ranges would be awesome too and the community pool has never been upgraded so thats my opinion thank you

Carey Park is nice. Has a cute little zoo & a disc golf course. Spent the day riding on my friends bike through there. Caught & released a Western Hognose Snake. Good times

Love the trails over this park for running, biking and walking. It's even nicer that the free zoo is colocated. Between laps you can check out the animals.
