We had my sister's bridal shower there and it was a good space. They were extremely accommodating and affordable which was really nice. They had plenty of extra chairs and tables. The room was upstairs and there was an elevator. However we only had 30 minutes prior to set up which was not a lot to set up everything we had planned. Overall it was good and we would probably use it again.

I had such a wonderful experience this past month for my wedding. If you are looking to have a indoor or outdoor wedding. This would be the place to go. With the downtown views, And rich history in the museum it's self. Also being able to walk through and look at all the great things inside. Having the kids play area open to friend's and family was so nice. And to have the staff that would be great and most helpful in anyway to make your day as spacial as possible. Thank you to one of the managers Katie who was most helpfully!

Entrance is free, though they accept donations. They are in the middle of renovations. The employee said they shouldn't take long. They have a play area for kids that looked cool.

Enjoyed stopping here on our way to the salt mines. Great display of the local history, and 2nd level is research and Oddleplex, a kids play area with historical/educational vibes. There was no cost to get in, but there was a suggested donation of $2 per adult, and $1 per child.

Very nice museum documenting the local history of the county. Helpful staff, he looked up several items that my wife great aunt had donated to the museum back in the seventies. It was middle of the day mid-week so we were able to park our RV in the lot.

Small but interesting museum mostly dedicated to the local history of Hutchinson KS. Entry is technically free, but suggested donation of $2 per adult and $1 per child 12 and under. The Attached Oodleplex is fun for young children, nice place to play when the weather is bad. There is also a small research center for local history. There is an elevator for 2nd floor exhibit and Oodleplex.

This museum is great! The little museum is free to enter and is really worth the looking at. You can get through in about 30 minutes depending on how much you read. The gift shop is nice for it's size. The jewel of the place for me though is the Oodleplex. It's a great playroom for kids under a certain age. It is $1 per kid but it is well worth it and your money goes toward upkeeping the place. The staff is also really awesome and will let you leave for lunch and come back without having to pay the fee again. There is just so much to do though. A boat, a train table, dress up, a general store, a kitchen, a school, a jail cell, and all sorts of toys. You can also have birthday parties upstairs across from the Oodleplex but I am not sure on the prices. Anyways my kiddo loves it and it is great on days when we want to go out and have fun but the weather is not permitting going to a play ground.

The spook walk was Boring.. my 3yo granddaughter didn't even care to stay. They were having it for 3 Hours we got there an hour into it and they had no pumpkins and there was no activities just a really long line down the side for a few pieces of candy. So we left.

Love this little museum. It’s a great place to take the kids when the weather outside isn’t great and the cost of access is only a small donation. The Oodleplex can keep the little ones entertained for hours and parents can enjoy the photographic history of Reno/Hutch.

This is such a neat museum! There's great pieces from different generations that really show what life was like in Kansas. My children have grown up coming here. They so enjoy the play center! It's fun and the perfect place for them to get energy out on bad weather days. They also love the different exhibits geared towards children.

😠 First of all, you should be letting people with babies know the baby pool is closed. I politely asked how long it will be closed, and she smarted off about how she doesn't know anything about it. Like.. you work here and you are the front desk, surely they've told you something. Also the pool is ver...
