The staff went out of their way to be accommodating to compensate for extensive renovations. Location is excellent for us; very close to our favorite attraction (Cosmosphere) and lots of dining options nearby.

Property is ok, but not as nice as most Hamptons. Good breakfast, good service.

**I gave the location 3 stars just because it's odd to get to from the main road due to a boulevard. **I can't speak much on the service. Desk service when I checked in was adequate- housekeeping in my room did a very nice job and went above and beyond with a couple of things. I've stayed at a few hotels in Hutchinson, and I would say the Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn Express are my top picks.

Tried to get a room because my house caught on fire in the middle of the night and was refused because they don't rent to locals. Her exact words were locals ruin our rooms and they just got re-done.

Rooms small. Didn't like dispensers on the wall....inconvenient. mattress comfortable.

The hotel was expensive. The rooms were clean. The fire alarm went off most of the night which causes not very good sleep. Maybe when you check in, ask the front desk person how often the fire alarm goes off?

We have stayed at this location multiple times throughout many years now. This was by far the worst experience. I understand not changing sheets on the beds if staying multiple nights but I do not understand not giving clean towels and rags. I really don't care to reuse a dirty rag to wash my body with. We called the front desk and were informed to get a clean towel we are responsible for bringing down the dirty towels/rags to exchange for clean. I have never stayed at any hotel that has ever done this and in previous stays this was never done at this location.

A truly clean hotel, however, if you are easily startled by noises in the night, you may wish to look elsewhere. Being located along the main road I experienced noises from a fire truck, and what sounded like three police cars chasing someone as well as several trains during the night. This is certainly not the fault of the hotel, which was actually very nice.

Hotel is easy to get to off of main streets in Hutch. Easy to check in, out, and use of digital key. My room was so spacious and made me feel welcomed. I loved the simplicity of the bathroom. Overall good experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hampton in Hutch Kansas during a visit to a local comic con event, and it proved to be an exceptional retreat that exceeded my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a delightful ambiance that set the tone for a memorable stay. The ongoing remodel at the hotel has transformed it into a true gem. The attention to detail and modern upgrades throughout the property created an inviting atmosphere that perfectly complemented the excitement of the comic con event. I was thoroughly impressed with the hotel's commitment to providing a comfortable and visually appealing space for their guests. The complimentary breakfast offered a wide range of delicious options, including savory sausages, scrambled eggs, fresh fruits, cereals, and a delightful selection of coffee. It was the ideal way to fuel up for a day filled with comic con adventures, providing the necessary energy to fully immerse myself in the event. During the weekend, I had the pleasure of interacting with the exceptional staff members, including Rochelle and Roanne. Their friendly and accommodating nature added an extra layer of warmth to my stay, making me feel valued as a guest. They were always ready to assist with any requests or questions, and their genuine enthusiasm for their work was evident. The hotel served as a perfect retreat from the bustling excitement of the comic con. The well-appointed rooms provided a peaceful sanctuary to relax and recharge after a day filled with cosplay, panels, and exploring the convention floor. It was a welcome respite that allowed me to fully enjoy the event while knowing I had a comfortable space to return to at the end of the day. I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the entire hotel staff for their dedication to providing exceptional service. From the welcoming atmosphere to the comfortable accommodations and the delicious breakfast, every aspect of my stay was truly remarkable. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend the Hampton in Hutch Kansas as an excellent retreat during a comic con event or any other occasion. The ongoing remodel, delightful breakfast, and outstanding staff, including Rochelle and Roanne, contribute to an unforgettable experience. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a memorable and enjoyable stay.

First time here, stayed 2 nights. Updated lobby and rooms. Stylish, modern and well-appointed. Breakfast was nice, right on point with what Hampton offers — both mornings, they offered 2 types of homemade waffles. Coffee all day. The lobby lounge sitting area was comfortable, great for hosting some family members for a chat in the evening. Staff was very friendly, very nice. This is a good Hampton Inn!

Hotel is currently undergoing construction. There was no mention of this on the website. No mention of the pool and fitness center being currently unavailable. The room is nice though.

This hotel was above all expectations. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. Also close to the college, I didn't realize how close it was when I looked at the map, but pleasantly surprised when we got there.

Last night's greeting was comfortable and welcoming, not just for us, but for our dogs too. Thank you, RoAnn and Rayne. Today's checkout was efficient and professional. Thank you, Kama and Rochelle. The room was great. A quiet hotel. Thank you.

We have always stayed at the Hampton, but our last stay we had no heat in our room and when I told the front desk they did nothing. I spoke to the front fresh before checkout and we were told since we weren't moved into a room with heat, that we would be compensated. I've been on the phone for 2.5 hours now spoke to 3 people and nothing has been resolved.

The room was clean so that is most important to me! The hostess (RoAnn) was incredibly nice & very helpful. The breakfast was good...nice variety between hot & cold food. Our room floor did have a squeak, only 2 towels for 2 adults (could have called for more), Kleenex box empty & the TV channels didn't come in very good. The room had a nice size refrigerator (worked great) & microwave. Also there are several restaurants close by. We would stay there again.

At first, I would have rated this hotel a one, even though we've stayed there in the past and it's always been good. My last stay was not great after being treated very poorly by a lady at the front desk (too many issues to leave here but let's sum it up as follows: irritated about everything, unable to properly check me in, unwilling to help with basic requests, sent me up and down to my room so many times it was ridiculous, and was incredibly put out by anything asked of her). Yes, the hotel could use some TLC, but that can be overlooked because it's basic wear and tear. Hilton needs to provide proper support and funding to the GM so they can update it; it does seem they've already updated most of the rooms with new showers, so hopefully the lobby, etc. will be next. After talking with the General Manager today, I'm giving it four stars (I'd give the GM a five if the rating was just for her). I was supposed to be on a bereavement rate but was double billed on some nights and received no discounted rate on the others. She adjusted my billing, took the time to hear my concerns over the unpleasant employee and was incredibly kind on the phone. She went above and beyond what she had to do and I could hear it in her voice that she's a genuine, caring person who definitely understands the situation she needs to fix. We need more people like Rayne who are kind simply because it's the right way to treat each other as humans. In a world where COVID has made everyone angry, short-tempered, quick to snap and a bit mean in general, she made it better. Because of her we'll be back to stay at this property in the future.

The hotel is old and outdated for the experience I expect from Hilton brand. There is no outside courtyard was my biggest disappointment. Is ok for a night but any longer and you would be missing the normal amenities. The staff is very polite and respectful.
