In
an
effort
to
extend
our
vacation
and
casually
travel
back
home
from
Colorado,
we
looked
at
RV
parks
about
half
way
between
our
prior
spot
and
home.
We
Google-map
searched
for
RV
parks
and
found
this
beautiful
place!
The
office
in
the
1-room
school
house
is
charming,
and
self
checking
was
a
breeze.
Even
after
hours,
we
could
purchase
firewood
(from
an
authentic-looking
wood
shed)
and
ice.
Our
spot,
#11,
was
HUGE:
We
could
park
a
large
RV,
our
truck,
and
a
another
small
RV
or
truck
if
we
needed
to
do
so.
The
site
had
a
fore
ring
but
an
adorable
new
tree,
plus
a
picnic
table,
and
plenty
of
room
on
the
side
for
a
large
rug
and
many
chairs.
And
the
price:
Very
low,
especially
compared
to
KOAs,
and
we
had
a
Good
Sam
discount.
While
we
had
our
RV,
the
cabins,
built
in
a
style
you
might
see
on
this
prairie
a
century
ago,
were
beautiful!
