Best management and service of a bike shop hands down. Knowledgeable, friendly, upbeat, and skilled. I‘m a bit obsessive about new purchases, and I looked for things on bike that were uneven or off and I found NOTHING! Perfect build. I had them make several modifications/upgrades before I left and all were completed ASAP. Won’t be buying a bike anywhere else again. Thanks EP Freewheel!

I will be a dedicated customer for life after my exceptional experience!! I went to a handful of other shops before this one, and I wish I had just started my search here. The workers at Freewheel are more knowledgeable than at any other shop I went to! Not just knowledgeable, but really into bikes and cycling as a sport. The shop also offers a discount on accessories when you buy your bike, which I wasn't told anywhere else (10-15% off? I forget). If you're a novice cyclist, I highly recommend asking for Matt. He listened to my wants, asked educated questions, insisted on me test driving a few options at different price points to see if I could feel a difference, and had WONDERFUL recommendations across the board! He took the time to give me pointers on bike basics - how to fit the bike to you, how best to pedal, how to shift - the whole shebang. He then walked me through all the types of accessories I was interested in, and had great thoughts on helmets and their technology, without being pushy. He loves biking and it shows - he got me excited to get into the sport! The cherry on top though was how the shop responded to an issue. While transporting my bike home I ran into a major unexpected issue and the shop went above and beyond to help me solve it. After my experience I am a dedicated customer for life!

I visited Freewheel Bike in Eden Prairie for the first time and was thoroughly impressed with their store and service. I had 2 bikes that needed a tune-up, general cleaning, and inspection for the new season. The service department was very friendly, knowledgeable and had a quick turnaround. I will definitely be returning with any service needs, accessories, and future bike purchases.

I've been to Freewheel many times now for everything from buying a spare tube, to buying a new bike, repairs, clothing, etc... and every time I have left impressed. All of the employees I've worked with have been extremely friendly and helpful (not always a given at a lot of bike shops). I have also found the prices to be reasonable for products and repairs. Recently, I bought a new bike from them and a few weeks later had a mechanical issue which needed repair (dropped a chain and bent the inner chain ring). Even though the issue was no fault of their own, they didn't charge me labor for the fix and also thoroughly went through to make sure everything was properly aligned so it wouldn't happen again. They clearly go out of their way to do right by their customers. I should also mention that in my experience, their level of service is consistent between locations. I have been to the EP store many times and I bought my new bike at the Eagan location. I also called the Bloomington location to ask a couple questions about a repair and was greeted with extremely friendly service. Freewheel is definitely my go to shop!

Wow, our new favorite bike shop. Matt was very helpful in our purchase of a 24" bike for our son. Initially we thought a 20" bike would be the way to go but Matt correctly pointed out that this size bike would only last a little over a year and would then be too small. He adjusted a 24" model to make it a great fit for our son. We bought it on the spot and our son has been very happy biking around the neighborhood in his new Trek. We really appreciate the great customer service.

Freewheel Bikes excels in all bicycle retail areas. Customer Service Online Support professional Allison couldn’t be more helpful, 10 out of 10 score. She communicated with me multiple regarding my purchase and shipping options in rapid fashion and was very cordial in her replies. She went above and beyond all expectations of a customer support associate. Additionally, my communication with Marc/Mike from the Eden-Prarie store regarding my status was also very helpful. Warehouse and shipping associate also provided me with detailed information regarding my shipment and the packaging process. This was very helpful and eliminated any anxiety related to customer wait times and shipping processes. Even though I have not had the opportunity to use the mechanical service team I can only assume the they are top notch and super responsive to their customers needs. I would also say the same for the sales team. My experience with sales was limited because I knew what I was purchasing but they did help me complete my online transaction with no effort or confusion on my part. In summary, my purchase was my largest online transaction in my history and working with Freewheel Bikes team was more pleasant than I could have expected. I would definitely go to them again if given the opportunity. Additionally, if I lived in the Minnesota area I would fully support this retailer with all my business for cycling needs. Just for reference, I have been cycling for nearly 50 years and even remember a mail order store called Bike Warehouse….who became Bike Nashbar and sold Colnago Super and Holdsworth Special for $300. I brought our new (March 2022) Co-Motion tandem in without an appointment with a front derailleur issue, dreading we would have to be without it for a few days, or more. The mechanic at the Eden Prairie store took care of it on the spot and didn't even seem to mind me observing and asking all my stupid questions. My wife & I were thrilled to get out riding the next day as planned.

I cant say enought about Freewheel and the service I received from Matt. He was so kind and patient. I went to other stores where I was clearly an inconvenience. Matt was a great listener and really helped me identify my needs. There was an issue with the bike I received and he resolved it quickly and very professionally. I would highly recommend.
