I got a scare initially while walking towards the shop, I saw the sign next to the sign of the market, but the shutters below the sign were down so I was kinda disappointed I thought the shop was closed! Thank God I decided to walk a few steps more and I finally smiled when I saw the entrance of Samjin Amook! This has to be the biggest and best branch of Samjin I have ever seen. It has so much variety of fish cakes and even sells frozen ones. The place also looks like a museum where you can see the walls telling the history of Samjin. I have never been to such a big branch with so many fish cakes to choose from I literally had a hard time choosing which to buy. Really like the decor, and of course needless to say their fish cakes are tasty. One thing I was kinda disappointed was that it would be better if there were seats for people to sit and enjoy the fish cakes while learning the history about Samjin. I shan't recommend the best because they are really diverse in flavours and it differs among individuals, but if you like to try something a little sweet and different buy the sweet potato fish cake! It's the BOMB!

There were so many different kind of fish cakes that I haven’t tried. For me ‘Mong-dduk’ was the best. You can eat it in front of the store. Recommendable.

This is a really good place to buy and experience making fish cakes as well as learning about the history of the fish cake. This main store looks like a bakery shop, and on the 3rd floor is a museum where you can make cut-out fish cake, fish cake pizza and learn about the fish cake history with a fee 15,000 won per person. Next to the building there is a restaurant where you can eat purchased fish cakes and soups.

Delicious fish cakes. Fun to pick one of each from a large selection and eat your own sample collection. Was not too busy when we went, so the space was open and easy to walk through. The woman at the register was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend going here for a quick bite in between other activities, easy and fun.

Love the variety of fish cakes, we take-it-away and had it at 'dine-in' area opposite of the shop. Personally I like the green chili fish cake, it's crunchy with mild spicy taste!

Many choices of local fish cake! We ordered crunchy type and fluffy fish cake. taste : 4.5 service: 3 ambience: 4 Crunchy one need to be reheat. If it provide immediate refried services it would taste even better. Fluffly fish cakes required to be dipped in separate soup and heated only it will taste nice. wasabi mayo and soy sauce are bought separately. suggest to have some condiments at the dine in area. need a guide!

Bought a variety of fishcakes and cheese croquette. Truth be told, only the croquette was worth trying. It was good. Not that the fishcakes were bad, but they were rather ordinary.

Great place to try all sorts of Korean fishcake. The green pepper flavor was the best! Was such a shame that I couldn’t buy it back to my home country as Busan was the middle part of my itinerary.

Absolutely as advertised but perhaps not worth a lengthy detour. It’s near a good market as well.
