👍👍 I have been many times since they opened, and their pastries are unreal. They always have a great assortment and taste like what you’d find in Paris. The espresso drinks are also made well. People often mention pastries, coffee, great, small, cheese, delicious, latte, croissant, tables, good,

I’ve only had a chance to try their ham and cheese croissant + the freddo cappuccino, and both were delicious! The croissant was perfectly flakey and buttery with a generous portion of ham and cheese.

What a great little neighborhood cafe. The decor and buildout of the space is beautiful. I am digging the old school copper expresso machines. The pastries and quiches are amazing quality really tasty and made in house. The staff is very friendly and seam to really care about their work. Coffe and and cappucinos are great. They just opened but we love the place already. What a great addition to the neighborhood.

Located in Adams Morgan surrounded by many other cafes , Soleluna holds its own. Along Columbia Road NW, it's open every day starting at 7 a.m. and closes in the afternoon. The space is small, but there are two small tables by outlets inside, an outdoor patio and strong wifi. They sell a number of pastries like pistachio croissants, etc. and have a full coffee menu. My small vanilla bean latte was under $5, which is a bit less expensive compared to other cafes.

Delicious pastries, coffee, and fast service. Beautiful small patio. Friendly staff. Good music. Great prices! There are about 2 small tables inside and 3 outside. Good for grab and go, not good for working remote because it is small.

The cafe's decor is beautiful and clean. They are 3 cute outdoor tables. I ordered decaf iced latte with oat milk. The coffee is ok.

Edit (summer 2023): This place is still so good and their coffee is so consistent. ————————— They bake all of their pastries fresh in-house! The flakiness of the puff pastry is just right and that is a rare thing in DC. The coffee was also well done, better than the espresso of other places nearby in Adams Morgan.

This spot opened last winter/spring and has quickly become my favorite café. The pastries are out of this world, and the coffee is simply the best in this neighborhood. The prices are also so reasonable that you don’t feel guilty about going every day. They have a seasonal drink, which is made with homemade syrups. Everyone that works there just couldn’t be nicer. The outdoor seats are a nice place to sit and people watch. Do not walk, but RUN to Soleluna for that Blackberry Fields summer latte while they still have it!!!

This has been bookmarked for me for a while now, and it was delicious! It’s a small space with no seating inside, but some tables outside to enjoy your pastries and coffee. At the register they have a list of their housemade syrups which include chai, salted caramel, vanilla and chocolate. I went with their iced vanilla bean latte with whole milk. I noticed a juicer on the counter behind the register and asked if they sell fresh squeezed juice which they do! I didn’t see it listed on the menu so that was a pleasant surprise. My fiancé got the orange juice which was delicious. I didn’t try their pastries, but most of them were sold out and we were there around 11am on a Sunday. My latte was delicious and their vanilla syrup was significantly better than store bought syrups I’ve tried. Overall this was a great spot for a coffee fix and I’ll be sure to try their pastries next time!

Soleluna in Washington DC is one of those hidden gems that I've had the pleasure of discovering. If you're in the mood for an unforgettable culinary experience, you absolutely must indulge in their mocha and cheese danish. As I walked through the door, I was immediately transported to a place where time slows down, and every bite feels like a celebration of life. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee lured me in, and I couldn't resist pairing it with their danish. The mocha infusion in the danish is nothing short of a revelation. It's a harmonious blend of rich, dark chocolate and the invigorating kick of freshly ground coffee beans. Each bite is an awakening of the senses, a journey through the world of flavor that would make any seasoned traveler proud. And then there's the cheese filling. It's like a comforting embrace from an old friend, creamy and familiar yet so utterly satisfying. It balances the bold mocha flavors perfectly, creating a delightful dance of tastes and textures that's nothing short of poetry. What truly sets Soleluna apart is not just their ingredients, but the passion and skill with which they're combined. It's evident that the bakers here take pride in their craft, and it shines through in every dish. So, if you find yourself wandering the streets of Washington DC, make a beeline for Soleluna. Order the mocha and cheese danish, savor it slowly, and let it remind you that even in a bustling city, there are places where magic happens in the form of pastries. It's a five-star experience.

This is a great place. The indoor decor is welcoming and clean. The outdoor patio is small but lovely. They have great pastries — I haven’t tried them all but everything looks good! They have interesting lattes — the blueberry (blackberry?) fields was good, but don’t get it if you’re not a fan of seeds in your drinks. I do, so yay me. Their lattes are a touch more butter than I prefer, which is why I didn’t give it 5 stars. But I suspect that would be a good thing for people with a more refined palate than I have.

what a wonderful gem - great vibe inside and out, friendly service, delicious flakey chocolate croissant, and the PRICES. i didn’t even get a coffee this time around and still extremely happy. can’t wait to go back and try more!

Really great coffee! The pastries looked super delicious (although we didn’t get any). I wanted to get the quiche, but they were sadly out. The space is limited, and there are only 3 tables outside, which can make finding a spot to sit down a bit more difficult.

Great spot! It was definitely very busy but the line moved quickly. They did get my friend’s latte wrong but the croissant and cheese danish were both incredibly delicious! I recommend grabbing a seat across the street at The Line hotel. Lots of tables or places to sit on the steps

Delicious iced brown sugar oat milk latte paired with a mango danish and guava croissant. Highly recommend the guava croissant 5/5.
