This is my third time visiting this OASIS of a salon and I’m in love! The Loc Shop is gorgeous, smells like heaven, and sets the tone for professionalism! Raye is bubbly, energetic, and wonderfully talented! Nicole is EXTREMELY attentive, personable, and talented! She was able to successfully style my locs without extreme tension and achieved the exact style I desired. On a separate note - Freda, the shop owner, is a delightful burst of genuine and divine energy! You WONT REGRET your visit here!

I love my stylist Nicole. I have been coming to her for almost a year now. She has helped my hair transform back to being healthy after experiencing some scalp challenges. My physical appointment was today and WOW!! 2 weeks ago, I had a virtual consultation with Kerri who showed true interest in my story, wants and needs for restarting my loc journey. She was very informative, patient and a great listener. Her questions to me were on point. It was almost as if she knew me, already. Kerri, meeting you today was a true blessing. I have been getting my hair and my daughter's hair done at the Loc Shop for 3 years. The staff is professional and pleasant. They are prompt, and I don't have to sit all day to get my hair done.

Just finished my first appointment at The Loc Shop. I wear my hair in gel coils; and I'm so very pleased with how my stylist Carrie took such great care of my hair from a "gifted-hands" shampoo to, my "big grinning in the mirror" done-do. The shop decor is beautiful. The friendly, and professional vibe from stylists and customers alike, created the relaxing atmosphere that in addition to excellent skills and service, is essential for me when it's self-care time.

I’ve been to many Loc shops but this by far the most professional and talent shop I’ve been to both in America and in Africa. Their service and attention to detail is second to none, literally any stylist you go to will get you right!

Have been going to The Loc Shop for about 5 months after finally commiting to turning my 4yr loc journey into well needed self care time. The shop is very welcoming and clean with calming, yet updated music playing in the background. All the ladies are very nice and there is a perfect amount of professional yet entertaining conversations going on. Really gives the hair salon vibes that i remember attending as a young child.

I love The Loc Shop! I’ve referred 4 people to this salon and they’ve all loved their experiences. The stylists here have made me feel so at home. The hair journey can be a sensitive one depending on your experience, and they handle my concerns with so much care. I consider myself to be a “needier” client because of my hair sensitivity, but they’ve never made me feel like I’m asking for too much. I look forward to my visits because I know I’ll always leave feeling and looking better than when I walked in ❤️

The Loc Shop is fabulous! I got starter locs today (comb coils). Shawntice was my stylist. She provides excellent customer service. She was attentive, made sure I was comfortable and informed every step of the way, and answered all my questions. She was also timely (started on time and finished the process in 2 hours). I'm so happy with my results! Shawntice did an amazing job! The other stylists are warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is calming and relaxing. I will definitely be back for my retwists!
