Love the community. Nice modern apartment, decent gym, various layouts. Building staff (leasing office, concierge staff, security, maintenance) are all polite and helpful. I only have a few complaints/issues: 1) similar apartment communities like this usually have bike storage rooms inside the building available for residents for free. Pilot House has many storage rooms and other areas where bike storage could be installed inside the building, but currently besides inside your unit the only other place to put your bike is in the public garage or in front of the building. I think there should be free bike storage rooms for residents to use. 2) The building is attached to a free parking lot but the building has reserved spots on the top floors of the garage. While this is a nice perk it is $75 per month per vehicle. You can find free parking on the street though. I think either each unit should get one spot for free or there should be a discount for multiple spots. While the reserved section does have a gate to get up to, it's still a pubic parking garage that anyone can take stairs/elevator to in pubic garage. It probably would have been cheaper for the apartment building to give residents a pass/decal that cars have and people can park wherever they want in the garage vs forcing them to park on the upper floors even though every floor has access to the garage. (For background, my wife and I lived in Pilot House before you had to pay for a reserved spot so we were able to park on our floor and not fear getting towed, now we fear getting towed so we park on street instead of paying the $75 per vehicle. 3) for such a modern building it seems like my unit uses a lot of electricity, even times when nobody is in the unit ( the AC/heat is off, lights are off, etc) the electric bill is higher compared to other places I've lived. I also wish the gym was bigger and had more items. Other similar apartment communities have larger rooms. In addition, I wish there was an area for electric grills 6) wish there was a back up system for the unit doors in case the electric mechanism battery dies or fob is lost

Great apartment I love living here! The staff are all very friendly and helpful. My apartment is facing the courtyard so there is no noise from the street. The courtyard lights are on all night and I can still see them from my apartment even with my blinds closed. I enjoy the large balcony and there is plenty of counter space in my studio apartment. I love that it is walking distance to restaurants, whole foods, physical therapy and a nice walking path. I wish that my apartment door was operated by a key. I am only allowed one fob because I live alone but when I forget my fob the people at the front desk can let me in. When I first moved in there was a key code I could use to open my door but it is no longer available. I wish this was still an option. I would say the light colored floors, fridge and white countertops in the bathroom are difficult to keep clean. Plenty of storage in the walk in closet. No apartment is perfect but I am content living at Pilot House.

I wanted to edit my comment earlier to add some more things since I’ve been here for two months. It’s only been two months so far here but I have to say this is already my favorite apt complex I’ve lived in and I was already moving from a good one. The building is clean, neighbors are kind, the staff is awesome, especially Mr. Edward! He is super helpful, always has a warm greeting, and goes the extra mile for the residents here, Frank the maintenance guy is also very responsive and quick and efficient, Nina is very helpful and friendly, she was especially hospitable when my friends visited, and lastly grateful to Brooklyn for a great virtual tour that initiated our interest here in the first place. Additionally, the lobby coffee machine and game room are really awesome. A huge convenience is that several restaurants and the whole foods are literally two blocks away.

Nice place. Close to trails and and easy walk to pretty much anything you'll need. The front desk staff is great. Edward was always willing to help get the fire running in the center atrium or get a package. Place is clean and kept maintained.

I had to make a delivery this morning and the concierge at the front desk was simply amazing. I believe her name was indya. Usually a young man is there that I’m used to seeing that also does great. but her attitude, demeanor, and forward way of making sure everyone has the best first impression of pilot house was simply impeccable and like a breath of fresh air from the younger generation. Her loyalties to the company is bar none, I informed her that there are openings for potential better opportunities nearby and she declined stating her love for the residents and atmosphere at PH. That woman is a diamond in the rough when it comes to younger employees. There’s honestly not enough good things I can put about our brief interaction, but if that’s the service and commitment that is always offered tho everyone to walk thru those doors. Pilot house is in great hands for a while to come. 10-Stars!

I moved to Pilot House in July of 2022 to be close to my new teaching job which was right around the corner. I'm a retiree from out-of-state, so I really appreciated the security that this building offered. I moved out earlier this week, and when I left I hugged Jessica, the Property Manager. Everyone here has been so supportive and kind and I really appreciate having a home away from home. During my residence here I lived through two bouts of Covid, quitting my job, having a major health scare and arriving at the realization that it's time to take care of myself. I just want to thank Jessica and Brooklyn who were excellent at their jobs and always responsive to every concern. I also really appreciate the concierge staff (Edward, Nina and all the weekend part-time people) who helped with all the little things you need when you live somewhere. I also appreciate the maintenance and custodial staff. I didn't know them by name, but they always greeted me warmly. This building is well maintained and it always smells good. While I'm happy with my new apartment and relocation decision I will always hold a warm spot in my heart for Pilot House. Thanks so much for making this a wonderful place to call home.

I am a therapist and work with geriatric, have been working with clients at Riverdale for a few months now. The security here is amazing, one needs a code to get in, if not the concierge has to buzz you in. I don’t have a code or key and have to rely on concierge to let me in and also use a key to let me in the elevator. I have to mention Eddie, who is the most positive, cheerful and pleasant front desk person i have come across working at different locations. He is always well dressed, smiling, courteous, respectful and helpful. Without having to ask he walks out and leads to the elevator knowing i am a regular and remembering which floor i go to. He is always vigilant and is at his desk when i visit ( i have had others who work there, and have had trouble) when he is working i know i don’t have to wait. Good, hardworking people need to be appreciated, we don’t have too many young people these days who are that.

I can't say enough positive things now that we live at Pilot House! Particularly Jessica from the leasing office and Edward from the front desk made even just the first few days easier, efficient, and answered all questions we had with great detail and such a positive attitude! Not to mention the management of this building is the best we have had in years! I hope Bozzuto keeps doing exactly at it does with this facility because the quality is top notch!!

Probably one of the best apartments around the area, and I've ever lived in. The place is very peaceful, quiet and clean. The community is also very kind, especially the front desk people. They provided such a great service, both Edward and Ninah, always greeting people, ask how they are doing, as well as always willing to talk, and help when residents are in need. It's also in a great small shopping center, where couple great restaurants and Whole Foods are within two blocks from apartment, which is a great walking distance.

👍👍 I have been living since 2016 and the manager is a good person for the time of COVID 19 of all the apartment buildings. She was the only person who helped us with a basic basket from the church that she was looking for and from the Jefferson Hall office. apartment regarding cleanliness depends on th...

😠 If you want to live in an apartment complex that gives little to no regard to maintenance issues, noise complaints, or even infestations, this is the apartment complex for you. Coming from a tenant who’s lived here for over three years that’s about to move out, I highly recommend looking elsewhere....
