Great place to dine. Located at the ground level of JW Marriot. The ambience is great, the interiors are eye catching. Perfect for a family get together. They serve authentic Hyderabadi and Lucknowi style cuisines. The staff was very friendly and are a good help while ordering from the menu. The food presentation was attractive, taste just lick smacking. Prices are understandably on the higher side. They accept all kinds of payment methods. Wallet parking is available. The restaurant is open till about 11pm. All in all, a great dining experience.

The place is very elegant and Cozy ... They have kind of a Royal look and feels. We had paya soup, fish tikka , Bidri - e - Raan , Naan & mutton biryani. Everything tasted very good and balanced 😌. Worth the pay.

The starter golgappa shot and the soup were amazingly tasty. The starters were okay okay. In main course I personally loved hing dhaniya aaloo.. and ofcourse the dessert was mouth watering too. Worth giving a try to this place .

I have dined at most popular restaurants and fine dining joints across Hyderabad and this might be one of my favourites: Food Went for the non veg platter and it was one of the wisest decisions. Soup Started with a badami chicken shorba which was rich and had a great flavour balance - usually don’t prefer this soup variant, but I would surely like to try this again Starters 4 starters - chicken, fish, prawn and lamb. While the galoutis were fab and something I went for a second serving of, the chicken was the best. But all 4 starters tasted great and that set the tone for the meal. Main course One chicken curry (butter chicken), one lamb curry and a 24 hr cooked dal. The deadliness of this combo almost made me turn down their awadi biriyani, which was quite decent too. Desserts The only weaklink possibly. I don’t like khubani ka meetha, so that was 1 miss out of 3 already. While the jamuns tasted decent, the shahi thukda lacked the usual sinfulness. Pricing Their set meal at 1800++ is a steal and one that I would highly recommend you try. Service The lady who attended to us (Aditi) was among the kindest service staffs we had encountered during the 5 day long stay here. She made sure we were comfortable and taken care very well. The hotel staff don’t seem to accept tips except for cash payments. I wish they could fix that! Ambience Dim lighting but decent decor despite the vintage feel of the property.

Today i had ordered 2 curries from Mariot panner and mix veg with lot of hopes but i was highly disappointed with the taste and quality ….both the curries were too oily (oil was floating in the top) and the panner was too hard. The quality was worse than Santosh Dhaba I would suggest never have food here as i wasted a lot of money

Bidri is the Indian restaurant at Marriott Hotel & Conventional Centre offering dishes from the cuisines of Hyderabad, United Punjab, and Awadh, along with some select local Telugu delicacies. The décor is regal with chandeliers and there is live Hindustani vocal or instrumental music to entertain you during the evening. Go for their 'Paya Shorba' (a Hyderabadi preparation of slow-cooked lamb trotters) to start the meal, along with 'Tulasi Paneer Tikka' or Hyderabadi 'Shikampuri Kabab'. You can also savour the 'Bidri Haleem' here all around the year. The 'Biryani' here is top-notch, especially the 'Lamb' version. Also, try out their 'Sufiyani Pulav' or the Awadhi 'Aloo Gobi Tehari'. 'Dal Bidri', the black lentil cooked with tomato and cream is also not-to-be-missed. Hyderabad 'Khubani Ka Meetha' and 'Double Ka Meetha' are the popular desserts here. When in a group, you can request the staff for a set menu too.

Visited for a family get together. The lighting is a bit too dim. The place is also tiny so if it's full you're gonna feel like the ac isn't working. Food on the other hand is fantastic. I'm sure my cousin hosting the party knowing the chef also helped but otherwise also, food was amazing..

Visited this place for dinner on a working day. You are given 2 options- À la carte or the set menu. We opted for the set menu. The starters were above average with Awadhi Gosht ki Galawat being the pick of the lot. Soup was good too. Main course was tasty. Dal Bidri was amazing. Options for assorted Indian bread did not include Kulchas. On the menu only mutton biryani was displayed but we were given an option of chicken biryani too. Desserts were good but by the time we had the desserts we were beyond full so couldn't do justice. Also Ms. Sonali was very good with her service at our table. Would love to visit this place again.

They have live classical band even though they play 4-5 songs lol but there service is great although you have to wait for your table if you don't select their buffet 😳

We went for dinner at this place and were thoroughly disappointed with the food and the service. Both veg and non veg were equally bad in taste. The non veg starters(chicke kabab) were served cold and the mutton curry had oil floating in it. Definitely not worth visiting this and will not recommend this place.

Very mediocre. The malai kabab was excellent, the remaining dishes were very average to say the least. The service was fine and the waiters were polite, but our repeated requests to turn the music down were just ignored. I also didn't like the fact that they were asking us to review them on various sites before we left. Makes me wonder about the authenticity of the reviews about this place. Moreover the waiters wanted us to mention their names in reviews, probably to please upper management or for recognition? Either way, it didn't really seem like a pleasant experience. A meh place to say the least. Avoid if you want to save your money.

I came here after reading the Tripadvisor reading and I lost the trust in Tripadvisor. The food is just average, you can experience better service at a street food restaurant. Yes, ambience is set beautiful, but the tables were filled in the hall.

To be honest, it is thr best place in hyderabad for a peaceful dinner, amazing ambience, soothing music, and most of all the best food for the price. The food was authentic to royal cuisine. I felt the spices used were top notch, and I could feel a blast of different flavours in every bite. When you visit, please ask for chef taj shah. He will most likely recommend the set menu. Please order that without over thinking even for a second. Taj shah ensured our dinner was one of the best in hyderabad. Awesome food..one of the tastiest Galauti Kebab was done by Tazz( the chef). Other offerings starting from Murg to Amritsari fish. Was here for the rayalaseema food festival . This was a total feast. Soul food and comforting food. The pandu mirapakaya chapa , kheema kofta and pachi Karam Kodi were a brilliant start. The naatu Kodi and ragi sangati was the best ever. Absolute bliss. The mains were equally good. It was an experience all together. Such food festivals are not to be missed.

An evening at Bidri was the much needed respite after the downpour today. The almond soup was earthy and the perfect start to the meal. The appetisers were amazing though the galouti kabab was a bit spicy given the mace. The main course was good and the dal was a stand out dish. Tapashi deserves special mention for making sure the set menu was served efficiently even when some on the table chose seconds of the same.

Being a vegetarian at Hyderabad has its disadvantages. The land of kebabs and biryani is more suited against the vegetarians palette. However when you have wonderful chefs and a customer focused team then there is magic. Just had a custom veg platter with kebabs, tikkas, chaap sticks. All vegetarian. When kebab melts in your mouth. When the broccoli gives away flavor palette which makes you go yumm, when there is a chaap stick you cant put down,. You know you have had one of the best dishes in a plate. Wish i had a larger appetite and was a decade younger. For the portion of biryani that followed was epic. Salan and raitha to complement it Over the last 2 days, i have been surprised with lip smacking soul touching food. Thanks to Kamran Khan and team of chefs and Preeti and team who take utmost care of you. I believe even a 5* is less. I am coming back for more.. For sure.

Loved the food! We had some unpleasant experience finding a table for our party despite making reservations. But once that was resolved, we enjoyed our time here. Our server Eli was polite and friendly and did a good job serving our large group. Definitely worth the time and money!
