Service is really really good. Food is also good but I didn't find any newness as I have been visiting it from years earlier the taste and the variety of curries was awesome compared to now. Aparty from its South Indian Thali, dosa idle and Vada is quite good.👍😊

Kamat hotel is one of the oldest in town which provide all types of tiffins items and Ala Carte dishes. They provide 2 ambiances for sitting - with AC and without AC. If you are looking for North Indian taste then go for their lunch thali which is limited veg meal with variety of items including soup, biryani, dessert, poori and 3 types of curries with additional white rice. Sufficient for 2 people to enjoy. We even tried rawa masala dosa which was good. Since the hotel is located in the centre of the market so parking space is less, but overall a good place to go along with family

Traditional and authentic south Indian taste. Quick service and piping hot food, something you don't get to taste with zomato, swiggy etc. Value for money eatery covering most of the south Indian dishes. Other items are also there on the menu but ideally visit this place for its tiffin and breakfast items. Parking is an issue but the location of the restaurant is a major factor for that.

This is an awesome place near lakdikapul. Just near Birla mandir. The food is tasty. The normal thali is enough for a person but they also have an unlimited one for a hundred rupees more. The hotel has valet services which is very important considering the location where the hotel is. It's situated on the main road so this aspect gives peace of mind to people coming in car's. The only downside is I have observed that masks are not properly worn and also tables are closely placed. This doesn't help in our current situation. That's the only reason for me not giving a 5 star.

After Shanmuga’s in Colombo, this place in HYD is my second favourite for South Indian food. The variety of South Indian items here is incomparable to any other joint. Keeping aside a regular one, I tend to try different things everytime I visit. A must visit place in HYD.

This place provides jowari meals and south indian food. As you enter, you have to wait for at least five minutes for your table to be cleaned and the banana leaves to be served along with water. The one best thing is that they serve you the thali in banana leaf. Then, you will again have to wait for another ten minutes for the salad and the curries to be served. They tasted as if heaven has come down in your mouth. The buttermilk, curries, everything except the "sweet" fruit salad was good. The fruit salad sucked! It sucked very bad. The rice, the roti with butter on it is mouth-watering. The banana leaf was overloaded with curries that I forgot to eat papad along with rice. Overall, it was great. They should try to focus more on time and speed. Customers were waiting and we had to personally ask the waiter to serve this particular sabzi, papad, roti... To enjoy this delicious food and without having to call the waiter for every single thing, you should go during weekdays.

Kamat hotel is One of the old names to hear in the city of Hyderabad, we’ve been to kamat mess not kamat restaurant which is quite opposite to kamat restaurant. The ambience is very old so don’t expect much out of it. As we sat on our chair they started serving which is very very very quick service. Happy for it. It really out for those who are hungry. The best part would be serving in banana leaf i just love it. There are lot of varieties in meal but improvement needed in taste, i mean they are not that bad but definitely there is scope for improvement.

Hotel is at a very Prime location. Very near to Birla Mandir. Interior of the hotel is Fabalous. It is a two storey hotel. Ground floor is for breakfast and sweet shop. Upper floor is dedicated for lunch and dinner. I would like to mention courteous staff as the service was impeccable. Wide range of food options available. Rates are a bit high but are matched by quality taste and service. Upper section is full AC. Very good seating arrangement.

I had very bad experience with Kamat Hotel.I have posted my review yesterday and I don't know how come hotel team has removed it.I have ordered dosa and in that I got hair.I have called up hotel to enquire about the same and manager Raghavedra said we have refunded the amount. Manager is pathetic and service too.I think hygiene doesn't matter to kamat hotel these days.I will suggest people to be carefull watched out for food hygiene...I will not recommend my family and friends to visit here.

Kamath veg restaurant is one of the best places in hyderabad to enjoy vegetarian foods. We ordered a Thali that comes with a few varieties of gravy, curd, 6 puris, and rice. It's so hyped, but I felt nothing out of ordinary. I got extra plate of Puris since the initial 6 puris were small and didn't find it filling.

I was there for lunch. Atmosphere of the restaurant is no too bad. They are providing ac and non AC services. Sofa seating is comfortable. I ordered thali for my lunch. They brought pooris in that which is good thing. Curries were not worth it. They providing just one cup of rice. Which can fit only for kids. If you guys would like to experience I just suggest only one time visit.

I came wth my friend for dinner. I had ordered chicken manchow soup, dragon prawns and chicken fry piece biryani. Manchow soup taste was below average. I didn't see the authenticity of dragon prawns. It was so sweet. Biryani is ok. Staff service was good. Though the place is quite good to hang out with friends. But I will not recommend anyone.

I had north indian meals and it was quite good and delicious. I was surprised that the meals are available at 3:30 PM. Usually meals are not served after 3PM for lunch at many restaurants. So if you want to have late lunch thali then go for this place. The service might be slow after peak hours so be patient and enjoy the meals.

Dined in, ordered Malai kofta and Paneer Butter Masala. Both of them didn't taste like what they should do. Malai kofta was submerged in oil (photo added). Paneer butter masala was oily as well. The Malai kofta didn't have "Malai" whatsoever. We were handed a bad tasting veg kofta instead. The Breads (naans and rotis) were decent (although, all varieties of breads seemed to be made from same batter that too mostly maida), the only things good about this hotel was Masala papad and coffee.

Kamat hotel which is placed next to the RBI Lakdikapul serves pure veg food. Have ordered chole Bhature, which was scrumptious and at the cost of 130+ they have served only 1 bhature and I thought that wouldn't be sufficient, but surprisingly after having that big Bhature my tummy was full. Along that, order some veg meals which were also decent in taste. Being such a good place and the price that they charge, the drinking glasses were totally unhygienic. These should be taken the utmost care.
