Is the experience worth the money? Yes it is !! You get the royal feeling of Nizams when you dine here in Adaa of Falaknuma. Good hospitality. Starters - 5/5 Haleem - 5/5 Do I have anything to complain about? Yes ! Might sound hyderabadi but as a hyderabadi in the hyderabadi cuisine why don't you have hyderabadi deserts? For example - to name a few - Kaddhu ka kheer, Qubaani, Double ka meetha? And Why can't we finish with Paan?

The palace is magnificent to look at and their hospitality makes you feel at home. Unfortunately all good things come to an end. The food story is a mess here. Talking about specifics, the mutton was dry as a stone and chicken was dry as a rubber band. I can say with shear confidence that the food isn’t Taj worthy or “food worthy”. I know my opinions are strong but so is their pricing.

Unique dinner experience with a tour of the palace. Food was good overall but the biriyani was rather ordinary. Ambience and service was too notch.

As the place says , they provide finest service and they treat you well . But the food is not at all worth of 6500 , the worst part is I got hair particle in mutton curry . Mango desert is very good , rest all normal taste . Better take palace tour with High tea unless if you want to spend 13000 for 2 people lunch .

Soup - Tomato ka shorba - 4.5/5 Appetizers - over all 4/5 - Paneer Tikka 4/5 - Dahi Kebab 5/5 - Aloo kebab 3/5 Raspberry Icecream - 5/5 Main Course - Okra/ Ladies Finger - 1/5 - Mix Vegetables without potato - 1/5 - Palak Paneer - 3/5 - Naan/ Roti was cold - 1/5 Desserts - Double ka meetha was ok, Pan icecream was amazing and others were just not great. Complimentary cake - This was weird, we were super thirsty after this item.. maybe oil is not good or I am not sure? Absolutely not worth it for a vegetarian if they give bhindi and mixveg…. It’s ridiculous!

I made a reservation at Adaa for my 2nd wedding anniversary and though costly, my wife and I had an experience of a lifetime. Apart from the covid precautions, special anniversary cake, the food quality and quantity served in set menu is excellent. This was my 4th visit to this place and the best one due to few people visiting. Lamb kebab served in appetiser were the best and dessert were very delicious. My wife was really impressed. Thank you Taj management for making the experience memorable.

The only reason I’m even giving one star is because I cannot give it zero. Let me explain why. This is the Taj Falaknuma palace, the epitome of the Nizam history and the essence of Hyderabadi culture. It is held to a higher standard than all other places. But this restaurant failed to meet even the standard that you can get outside from a street vendor or a local hotel. Food was terrible, absolutely horrid. The haleem was a disgrace to the wonderful city of Hyderabad. Next I had a nalli gosht, which is meant to be a classic dish. The meat on the gosht was hard as a rock whereas it’s meant to be soft. Biryani was tasteless. Chai was not up to mark. Service tried to recover by offering free pastry, but even that was stale. The funny thing is I am not the only one that was complaining about the food, there were others complaining in the restaurant as well. How can this be when we paid 13,000? A disgrace. The amazing evening at Falaknuma palace was ruined due to my experience here.

Had an outstanding dining experience here. Extraordinary service by the staff. And the food was delicious and rich. I've tried the Ghosht ka marg, Hari mirchi Ghosht, haleem, zafrani murg tikka, garlic naan, and their assorted desserts. I'd rate all of them 5 star except for the soup, soup would be a 3.5. This is not my first fine dining restaurant but this is definitely the best I've been to. The staff was very humble, kept checking on us all the time. I'd Definitely recommend dining here.

We opted for the set menu which was 5500+taxes per person. Free for kids below 5. Good 1. Overall quality of the food served. All the meat was juicy and tender, esp mutton unlike typical Hyderabadi dry fare 2. Tomato shorba, wild berry sorbet, double ka meeta and the bloody delicious mutton curry were the highlights. 3. Service was great and attentive. 4. The decor was charming, grand and luxurious. 5. Palace tour was really exciting. 6. Picturesque , beautifully maintained palace. Bad 1. Overdose of chicken and mutton items. 2. Menu was wanting for high quality seafood at that price. 3. Service should have been personal. I would have loved introductions to the items, the origin of the ingredients, chefs profile etc… 4. I wish we didn’t have to remind them to repeat a few items. 5. You would eat enough calories sufficient for a bear getting ready for hibernation. Overall a wonderful, grand, luxurious experience but would avoid set menu and go for a la carte next time.

Unsafe, Stale, Cold & Ultra expensive Buffet Experience for 8.5K a person! Not something you expect from a Taj property - Avoid if you can (See pics of undercooked food for proof) Adaas chefs tasting experience is less of a wonderful experience and more a cheap, cold, unsafe and stale food buffet experience where the food is undercooked and the service staff is uncourteous and riding on a high horse I went here for an anniversary dinner and was served chicken that was undercooked. Upon mentioning that and asking for a replacement, not once was I apologized to for serving undercooked food and nor was the said appetizer replaced and this was the same experience across 2 of their servers - Mr. Santosh (looked like their head server) and Mr. Gaurav Moreover most of the food that came out was cold. It seemed like this food was already prepared and kept behind on some hot plates and was just being brought out to be served. I know this because the minute I asked for a dish outside of their tasting menu, it took time to come and was piping hot and fresh vs stale like the other food items on the tasting menu. Also, this used to be a place for a nice quite luxury dining at one point as I have been here a few times but this time it was just super crowded with so many people and a lot of noise :( The only saving grace was their dessert platter at the end and evrything in there was great! And also their other server Mr. Saroj who was courteous and something you'd expect of a server at a place like Adaa

The place has an unmatched grandeur May be a touch expensive but one has to understand that the price is being paid for experiencing a slice of history and not merely the food. Even the veg food which we ordered from the set menu was extremely delicious and almost every dish left a lasting impact on our taste buds

Revisited this place with office colleagues. My US boss was visiting India and wanted him to experience the grandeur of this place. Could have booked just the tour but that would not have been a full experience. I had the same experience as before. The presentation of starters was better the first time round. Also would like some more variety in the main course as all the items were prepared in similar gravy. Taste was good and they promptly accommodated whatever adjustments we asked for. Gulag jamun palate cleanser was delicious. Would love if they add a nice welcome drink to the menu. Overall a good experience but would like it to be excellent in the future.

The Indian cuisine served in here is mouthwatering. Located inside taj falaknuma, the service here is commendable. Authentic recipes and passable quantity justifies the cover charge of 5500 per person. However, the vegetarians will have a limited option to choose from.

The silverware at the the restaurant really gives it a royal touch. It all felt authentically Mughal with top class service. The food was said to be made with the best of ingredients, but didn't really taste much different from good food I've had from other places (or at home!). It is an expensive affair but worth the experience was good.

Incredible Indian food in a beautiful setting. You have the option of the main restaurant, private dining room or the Gol Bungalow (outdoor undercover). The food is exceptional, all the Hyderabady famous foods plus southern and northern options. The staff do an excellent job of explaining food for foreigners. An amazing experience.

Amazing place, great service and the whole experience of visiting the palace is fantastic, must visit place…. May not be for a great place for food - I was disappointed with few dishes that were served including the veg biryani and deserts! Saag , Pappu and paneer were good, Well their chocolate pastry was the best I ever had!!! What makes your visit to palace to be memorable is the stunning views of Hyderabad old city and more importantly the service and the attitude of the every staff member which was exceptional. They will go all out to provide the best possible experience for you while you are in the hotel!

The ambience and place is awesome. Visit once and see the interior which looks amazing. Dine like a nawaab, you need to book in advance and the fixed menu comes included with a tour of the palace. There are better menus for the money you will pay, but then you are not going there for value for money food right?

I have booked two slots on a Monday night. Staff here are very polite and humble.Excellent hospitality. Would suggest to go for dinner here and reach the palace 1 hr before ur dining time so that you could click wonderful pictures with palace all lightened up. You will have a dedicated Staff who will assist you by clicking pics(not professional photographers) but they will click you good pics if u have a good mobile handy. Then there will be a palace tour. Every painting inside the palace has something special about it and it's just a treat to watch. You will get to experience the royal lifestyle of nizam and then the dinner at Adaa. I would say it's just good. If you consider making ur special day memorable , you must visit this place atleast once in your lifetime. If you intend to go there only for food, u will not be satisfied considering the price tag.

Service was not good, Dishes are not available , I asked for Biryani and they informed both chicken and mutton biryani are not available and it's an Indian cuisine restaurant . Taste wise i would say average and it's 5500 per person, Ambience was good , overall experience i would say 3 out of 5 . That 3 Stars is for ambience .

Challenges with Reservation: We were looking for a reservation for 16 people for our Nephew's Birthday. There was no consistency in their communication after multiple back and forth calls, they said they are full and only 10 seats they have that's also for dinner at 9pm-11pm slot. which is already a late one. when we went their half of the restaurant was empty!!! The tour started 10 mins late and completed at 9:50pm. They left us at the dinning hall around 10pm for dinner !! Prepare for the Surprises: They will ask you how many vegetarians and how many Non-vegetarians. Surprise was they don't serve vegetarian dishes to Non-vegetarians. we had to ask that we are not strict Non-vegetarians and serve veg also for us. My rating for the Food - Menu is choices are very poor, Presentation is very Poor. Taste for the Food - Average only Biryani was good Hospitality - Fair. Service - very slow Overall - Value for the Money - Not at all!!! Travel group Family

Understated decor and ambience, good service; Vishal was attentive and spot on with his recommendations, underwhelming expensive cocktails, great food - stuffed paneer tikka, dahi kebabs, handi curry and spinach sabzi, an overdone roti in the basket was promptly replaced, great phirni and Hyderabadi dessert sampler - a nice leisurely meal with family at a historic well maintained palace, a Taj experience for sure

One of the best dining experience at this place. The setup leading to the dinner is amazing. You are taken in a buggy to the inner side of the palace & continue to the palace tour. The view of the city during the night is incredible. The set menu at Adaa tingles your taste buds with so many flavors. The mutton curry Rara Gosht & the dum biryani was the best I ate so far.

Seriously overrated for a so called luxury hotel. The food was actually disgusting and I felt so bloated and uncomfortable after the meal. The so called hyderbadi dishes were such a disappointment. The only saving grace was the plate of delicious mini desserts. Service was good, but slow and inconsistent for a 5 star hotel.

palace, you're welcomed with the grandeur and opulence of the Nizami era. The stunning interiors of Adaa match the grandeur of the palace, with intricate detailing and artifacts that bring alive the rich heritage of the city. The dining experience at Adaa is nothing short of exceptional. The menu features a blend of Hyderabadi and Indian cuisine, and the dishes are executed to perfection. The use of authentic spices and ingredients creates a flavor explosion in every bite. The starters themselves are a highlight with their succulent kebabs and tikkas. The biryanis, of course, are the star of the show, with their heavenly aroma and succulent taste. The meat is so tender that it falls apart with just a light touch, and the spices add depth and flavor that take the dish to an entirely different level. The vegetarian dishes are equally delicious, with the [Name of Dish] being a personal favorite. The rich and creamy gravy paired with freshly baked bread is an absolute delight for the palate
