Taste and quality wise they are good. Seems to be preparing the standard way like many outlets do but the taste here is pretty different and tasty😋😋. As the place is very small which ever the day you go it is too crowdy always , because of the taste can see people all the time even if the crowd is large. Bhelpuri, different types of ragada, samosa.... Many items. Cold dahipuri is a must try one , chilled curd will be present once we eat its like wow 😍. Also try kulfi which is just outside at entrance - badam and pista kulfi are very good. Chat ka badshah- Gokul Chat

This place is famous in our entire state and by hearing it's hype, I've visited to give it a try. It just got popularity despite it's lack of seating options and taste. It is located in one of the busiest places in the capital city hyderabad. It is located near Koti area which is famous for shopping and book centres. Mostly filled with students and travellers, this place is insanely crowded. Parking our car is a quite tough job here and I even got fined for trying to park my car at this place. I've expected a lot about this place before visiting gokul Chat but all my expectations were ruined once I tasted a regular popular dish here. However it's good for a quick bite if you are near to this place and happens to have some time to spend waiting for ordering.

Undoubtedly Hyderabadi best street food in the city. The only reason why this place is surviving is because of the food taste and quality they offer in the price range. Super good quality any day, any time. And it will always be extra crowded. Try their samosa ragda, dahi puri, dahi samosa, mirchi bhajji, and Pav bhajii. Its located in the heart of the city, Koti. Parking will be a big issue and queues are always on. So better prepare well to enter, and taste the food at your own risk. Outside they have a kulfi which is also worth trying. And also, important to note ‘they are strictly cash only’. No UPI no cards here.

While driving to sultan bazar , Koti . I saw full crowd at this place so I stopped by and I ordered Cold Dahi Puri. It was great in taste and by the way for the first time I ate 2 plates. So after that I tried their softy ice cream which is at the entrance of Gokul Chat but it is not good at all and also of very low quality . So I am giving less rating because of that. From next time please maintain taste of ice cream. Taste 4/5 Price 5/5 Ambience 1/5 Quality 4/5 Overall Rating 4/5

Very old and famous chat place on busy road of heart of the city. Both samosa and cutlet ragda are good. Dahi items are good too, served with fresh curd. Self-service, no place to sit, but high rise tables are built on edges of wall to put down plates and eat. They also serve kulfi and icecream. Hygiene is not top notch. No dedicated parking space.

I was dismayed to witness a disorganized queue at the entrance, with customers crowded around the counter. Furthermore, the restaurant does not accept online payment methods, and even when paying in cash, customers are not provided with a proper bill. The most alarming aspect, however, is the lack of hygiene maintenance observed in the food preparation area. The chefs were not using hand gloves or head covers, and it was disconcerting to witness individuals chewing pan parak while handling food. This poses a serious threat to public health and safety and is a clear violation of the necessary guidelines for food establishments. I hope proper necessary steps shall be taken by the management to maintain proper hygiene standards along with the food quality.

The place holds good and tasty food for chat lovers, highly recommend the bhel/masala Puri. Their kulfi is not much of a thing but fir 25₹ that is worth it. So it their softy ice cream.

Better to avoid visiting it. It lost the taste. Very very Bad Experience. Tried Samosa Ragada, Kachori Ragada it is very salty. And Dhahipuri also not good. Kulfi also just ok. Hatsun Kulfi is better than that.

I ordered three items . Bhelpuri, dahiPuri and pavbhaji . The place is so congested however it’s occupied with full crowd . We have to wait in line to order the food . By the it’s famous - We don’t like the food much . Bhelpuri is better compared to other 2 , the place has bit smelly inside . Might be other was good , I’m not sure about that.

Great and spicy taste! No seating available as it is self service and people need to stand and eat. One of the oldest and iconic chaat places in Hyderabad- I only feel that the Ragada/Chole they have is too spicy and oily. Not recommended for regular eating!

The man taking the order at this place is such a creep, scanning ladies up, down, front, back!! Felt so bad..... The Dahi Puri is tasteless & just white coloured ice water in empty puris Given in the name of Dahi Puri Samosa ragda is just masala and potatoes . Taste & quality has downgraded over the years badly!! 👎

The taste was good.Too much of a crowd visited on the weekend.tikki was my favourite. The average price is around We can also find a good desert over here I tried kulfi over here it was so good. ***The most important thing is that carrying cash online doesn't work over her.*** I faced the same trouble a gentleman has helped me out thanks for him I couldn't find a ATM nearby 😕. Hope the shop owner should arrange an alternative or he should only tie with some bank and give some space for ATM 😅 Just kidding 😂

Normal to be honest . Being from North India , i don't find it that good . Ordinary Chaat coz the masala they use smells and tastes not that delectable and curd is toooooo.. thin like water with loads of sugar . Mathii used is cheap quality to be honest . Rest people here it eat .

If you haven’t tried Gokul chat, stop reading this and head to it. Gokul chat has a lot of traditional chat items with a fusion of local food with the traditional chat. I was really amazed by how the chat game can be taken to the next level

Lovely taste of chat here make it one of the iconic places. But the crowd is plenty and lack of parking for modern day public make it difficult for someone to reach and be comfortable here. Nonetheless the chat and pani puri has been great as is the kulfi sold outside. 🤌

Best place for a quick bite. The food tasted really good. The taste remaines the same whenever I visit this place. There are a few things which might bother us when we visit this place, the crowd, no parking place, and no great ambience. It's crowded all the time, right from morning till night. Every dish here is a must try. Mainly the cold dhahi items. They are really yummm 🤤.

Visited this place for the first time and tried samosa chat. Service is super quick and the place is crowded even during odd hours like midafternoon for chat and kulfi. However, I absolutely disliked the samosa chat I ordered. It has a weird taste of sweet and tanginess and I did not like it.

Amazing place to taste all varieties of chat items ranging from Mirchi Bajji to Chole Kulcha. Unforgettable taste. The best part is Kulfi. Remember, this place doesn't accept UPI and Cards. So carry cash all the time if you plan to visit.

I have visited this place, this should be more organized as it is as of now. Very much crowded beyond your thinking. Food is good but you should be at your own risk from this covid period. Parking is big headache. Their is no parking for four wheeler, two wheeler can be adjusted a bit but if you park your vehicle apart from just opposite to Gokul Chat so that shopkeeper will say to remove from their shop front. Try to keep only cash, 95% they deal in cash, but if you request that you are short of cash so they might give you options for QR code payments (this is totally depends on cash counter person moods). You must keep water bottle with you, as their is no provision to buy water, there is water cooler with glasses but don't take risk so keep it with you always if you are visiting there. There is also no nearby shop for water bottle purchase.

A must go place for every street food lover. The food is exceptionally so good in its taste and the place is always in so much hustle. There's no proper seating. And you might also have a parking problem. The only thing that I felt was they could improvise their setup and the outlook. It isn't that appealing for a first time customer and might end up doubting the hygiene of the place. But if you don't mind anything apart from taste then you must definitely try it.

  • 4/5 Harsha V. 5 months ago on Google
I visited this place recently and I must say that the food was excellent. However, the place was too crowded and there was no parking space available. It was quite inconvenient to park my car and walk to the place. The place management should consider expanding their parking space to accommodate more cars. Despite the parking issue, I would still recommend this place for its delicious food. The menu has a wide variety of dishes to choose from and the quality of food is top-notch. If you’re looking for a place with great food, this is definitely worth checking out. Just be prepared to face some parking issues.

One of best chat bhandar in Hyderabad. It's always crowdy and use to be heavily crowded in 90s. It use to take min 5 min to reach the counter and to order food another 5-10 minutes. Now it's not that crowdy. We can get all types of chat. I prefer to have Sev poori whenever I go that side. We get a different Sev poori but of good taste.

One of the oldest joints in Hyderabad for Chaat items. Bestsellers are •Samosa Ragada, Kachori Ragada. It’s topped with sev, chopped onion and chole. The taste has been maintained over the last 20 years atleast, located in the heart of the city at Koti. You will usually find this place buzzing, hard to find parking. Kulfi from Gokul chat is also famous. Only Cash is accepted.
