Hyderabad has a lot of parks and this one's gotta be the best one in my opinion. One, because it's got a really pretty vibe and the fountain part, and two, it has boat services to take you to the Buddha statue. You can take the mechanized boat for 50rs/head which would give you time to savor the ride. You can take pictures of/with the Buddha for around 30 min after which you are brought back to the park. I'd say that's a pretty good offer. They also have jetski and other activities which you may wanna try (in the day time)

This is can be more beautiful and more attractive for the tourists. There were very few cleaning staff, where this place is paid. No security, if something goes wrong so nobody will be there to take care. Place is too much crowded, without covid precautions. If you want to use restrooms so again this is paid but you won't get anything, too much dirty.. smell like hell, taps are broken and I can't write here... If you are planning to with kids (especially infants) so not to plan.. even this place is not safe for small kids too. Chairs are broken on the ⛵ boats, no proper management. Government or whom so ever handling this please try to maintain it in proper way because you are getting money from the crowd. It's not free..

The park itself has only a few attractions. Multiple aspects which were a turn off - Not much to shop, the washrooms were horrible, parking was very far due to some construction activity (@NTR Gardens). The trampoline thing was okay but has weight restriction of 72 kgs. They have re-started the waterfall feature, and that seems to attract many folks. There are also a couple of rides which are passable. Otherwise, the only reason you may want to visit this place is to take a ferry trip to the Buddha statue and the experience was worth it. There are many options available but the most popular options are the 50/- Mechanized ferry and the 350/- (for 4 people) speed boat ride. The 1st option gives you a chance to get down near the statue for a few minutes, where as the remaining rides don't allow you to alight at the statue. So choose as per your preference. We took the speed boat ride and it was a great experience to be frank, and that's the only reason why I'm giving this 2 stars. Tip the speed boat guy, and he'll take you on a longer ride almost till the flagpole. After my much more recent visit, they seem to have added a couple of modes of travel to the statue. A family ride 5-6 people (500-600/-), and the DJ boat with music and dance floor (100/- per person). These are decent options as well.

The park is not that great but boating is good. But be very careful. There are two kinds of boating tours. One is DJ boat which costs 100/- per adult and 50/- per child which is a pure waste of money. Also they promise you for a big round etc but they won’t even take you near the statue. Pathetic. Simply purchase a 50/- ticket and go in a boat called “mechanised boat” this is best. They take you to the statue and drop you where you can take photos play and come back later. Don’t be fooled with DJ boat.

We can go boating, watch a laser show, there are food stalls where we can have some snacks. There were swings also for Adults and Kids, we can have rides also. It's a full pack picnic spot. Home bodies will enjoy coming to this park, it is located centrally on hussain sagar, with slides, swings and children play ground entry fee is minimal Rs.15 or so, there is a water fountain, water cascade and other attractions if you wish to see hussain sagar buddha idol, you can take a boat ride costing Rs.350 per head and go watch in the middle of the lake a platform where there is a large buddha and a small standing area to enjoy snacks if you have any, the boat ride is very small and cosy, 9 am to 9 pm the working times, you can also buy snacks inside or outside the entrance of the park.

Mostly weekends remain very crowded in this place. There is no parking facility available over here. So, the people can pay and park their vehicle inside NTR Parking bay.

Good place to visit with family and friends. Different boating options available, but the water is very dirty. It would have been better if the water body was not polluted. Also the visitors should not throw bottles and other wastes to the water and the one doing so should be charged some penalty so that the water is clean. This is the place from where you can take boat to the Buddha Statue. There are different types of boats that can be hired but it is only the mechanized boats that stop and allow you to alight near the Buddha statue. The tickets @ Rs.50/head cost the least among all categories of boats. The camera charges are very high-Rs.1000 but you can shoot with your mobile. In the evenings at 7.30 pm there is a laser show. There is a small children park as well. Near one of the exits is a small food court as well. Parking is available on other side of the road near the Secretariat.. Laser show and musical fountain are highlight here. It was of a great standard. This Lumbini park is nice good situation of the Hyderabad city beside many other park. As we know that there are scarcity of family places to visit in Hyderabad like Bengalore or Pune, this is the last option. Luckily anyone can get good option to spent time like boating, park, water activities, horse riding, foods and movies. For boating they provide multiple options like normal boating (price 20 rs to 50 rs with capacity of 50-100 people), Entertainment boating with music and dance performance (price 50 rs to 100 rs with capacity of 30-50 people). Apart from that there are other option in speed boat (350 rs for 4 and 450 rs for 6) and medium speed boat (450 rs for 6 to 550 rs for 6) and other option with 7-8 people for 700 rs. I liked the speed boat for thrilling and adventure. You can also opt for some fun games there. Overall good place to visit with kids.

Lumbini Park is located on the banks of the beautiful Hussain Sagar Lake and we had visited this popular tourist attraction during our sightseeing in Hyderabad. We had gone on a Saturday evening and the place was very crowded. Tickets are priced at 20 rupees per person but another 100 rupees if you have camera or else store it in the cloakroom. There are limited rides inside the park, food stalls but main usp is the boating on Hussain Sagar Lake and the beautiful laser show in the evening.

Well Maintained park,on the sides of Hussain Sagar Lake. People can enjoy and spend quality time in this place. Boat rides are available which takes a round of the lake. Snacks shop's and other small shops are available in and around this park. All the charges are minimal. Restroom can be maintained much better.

A nice hotel for a comfortable stay in Hyderabad. They are taking extra precautions during Covid times. There was a water supply in my room but they were quick enough to repair that. The service is good. The food is also okay, I liked their Sambar rice which can be tried if you stay here. There are good options during breakfast which is till 10.30am. With the current conditions they supply toiletries to your room only when you ask for and also they bill you first while you check in.

Too much crowd. No digital payment for entry tickets...unbelievable these days!!! Guards doing security check will touch you with bare hands... terribly unhygienic. Cleanliness needs a lot of improvement. At many places the street lights are inadequate. At some places they're not working. Parking has to be done at least 1 km away at NTR Gardens. Will be difficult to walk up and down if you have kids. Inside the boat, the signage reads without life jacket entry to boat is not allowed but no one wears it, staff also doesn't insist on it...safety seems to be compromised. Overall not a nice experience. Feeling bad to rate it 2 stars, but that's max it can get.

Nice place for a morning walk. Can be maintained much better. Motor Boat ride for a 5 minute ride around Buddha statue cost around 350 rupees. Always boatman ask for extra 100 rupees for taking little long round to a full circle till the other edge. In this ride we can not get down near Buddha statue. But in bigger boat, we can get down. 50 rupees per head inthe bigger boat. But need to wait till the boat get full.

One of the best & cheapest place to visit in Hyderabad. We were here for one day & can go for one place, Ramoji Film City is Closed Due to Covid-19, so we're left with this location as of our best choice. We enjoyed alot here and best part was the Statue of Budda. Mechanical Boat was good in price ₹50 per person. Speed boat was ₹350 per person, but time was less in this. Family Boat was ₹700. With budget & time we choose to go for ₹50, Mechanical Boat. It gave us 30 mins time to stay at Budda Statue. Buddha Statue was located at center of the Lake & We enjoyed one of the best view of Hyderabad. Really Worth visiting there.

Kids will love this park as it has a small waterfall and different type of slide rides are also there for free. Vendors are all around the park selling toys snacks and jewelery items. Boating is also allowed in the Husain sagar lake costing 100rs per adult for the cruise boat and 350rs per adult for speed boat. Try to visit this place in the evening because the Buddha statue at the centre is illuminated with different colours at night. Overall a good place for enjoying your evening.

This place is very much recommended for family visit as it has many options to time pass, like Laser show (not functioning currently), boat ride, play area for children, few adventure rides, shopping area, and snacks outlet. Nominal entrance fee charged for adults and children, separate cloak room to safely deposit your belongings charged at nominal fees, separate security check for male and female fir safety. Apart from the above, outside this park you've variety of quick bites like corn, soda, ice cream, masala Puri. To connect to various parts of city from this place, you've auto rickshaws as well.

Very crowded, no mask, no social distancing. With the current covid situation, kids and elders bath and play in fountain and no authority to help or coordinate anything.... I don't recommend tourist to visit this place during covid outrages, if you are concerned. If you still want to visit, go by non-public holidays and mid noon, where less crowd there.

Great accommodation. The rooms were tidy and also did not feel claustrophobic. The room had a nice city view as well. Room service was top notch, we ran out of drinking water and had to order a couple of water bottles which were sent to us as soon as we cut the call. Overall, an excellent property.

Recently, I came as part of my project requirement. My Company had booked me a room in this hotel for a three days stay. The stay in this hotel was awesome and every moment since entering the Hotel gate was cherished. Let me highlight a few unique happenings which made me speechless and enjoyable throughout my stay in this hotel. The persons employed there seemed to be very happening and down to earth, which refreshed me. Starting from the Hotel Security to the room service person, the customer service was great. The persons appointed there clearly explained the Hotel layout and proceedings and guided me until I got settled well in my room. The room service was perfect and the employees there were very punctual for all our calls. The Hotel had all the required amenities neatly maintained. The gym available there was very good and there were a lot of cuisines available in the dining area. I didn’t like few cuisines but overall, the food was decent and manageable. The cleanliness of the Hotel was amazing. The Hotel offers all our needs, and we need not run out in errands for getting something. On a whole, my stay was simply perfect and highly recommend this hotel.

It is a small park adjacent to Hussain Sagar. You can take Hussain Sagar boat ride from this place. There was a huge line for boating during my visit, also the boats were very crowded, so I avoided it. The entry fee for this park is Rs 20/- and you have to stand in a unruly crowd queue for tickets. As this park is located at the prime tourist location of Hyderabad, so it remains very crowded. Also the water of Hussain Sagar lake near the park stinks, you will Sewage-like Odor if you go near water. Also I felt that the park is not that well maintained. There is a 30 minutes audio visual laser show during evening hours, tickets can be purchased separately inside the park. Each ticket costs Rs. 80. As per my observation the Laser show was the best experience of the park. I gave one star more only because of the Laser show.

The park is well maintained by the staff, it's clean and has many fun activities for kids like rides, fountains, a place where little kids can play in water and adults can walk behind the fountain, boating( slow and speed boating), etc. The park has food stalls with a variety of food items, and for a token of memory you can get a hand drawn portrait of yourself or your family by the talented artists in the park( cost of portrait may vary by no. Of people in the sketch and other factors ). The main attraction is the Lazer show, which is 20-25 mins per show, This show is highly recommended and a must visit with friends and family.

Prices of boating will be displayed near boats . Speed boat will 250 for 4 people better experience one time . And you cant carry camera inside you have to pay 1000 rupees for carrying any camera inside the park .

Post lockdown, there's absolutely no control on incoming traffic, crowd. No guidelines followed. Parking has been removed and shifted to NTR park. Speed boating is great and should be tried. Rest everything is lack lustre.

Lumbini Park Lumbini Park, officially T. Anjaiah Lumbini Park is a small public, urban park of 3 hectares (7.5 acres) adjacent to Hussain Sagar in Hyderabad, India. Since it is located in the centre of the city and is in close proximity to other tourist attractions, such as Birla Mandir and Necklace Road, it attracts many visitors throughout the year. Boating is one of the best part and people go to the Buddha idol placed in the middle of the tank band in the boats. Constructed in 1994, the park is maintained by the Buddha Purnima Project Authority that functions under the directives of the Government of Telangana. In 2007, it was one of the targets of the 25 August 2007 Hyderabad bombings that killed 44 people.

This place is also my first visit. Attractive spot here is the water fountain, you can spend an hour time here. Many eatables are also available. You get boating for 50/- for elder n 30/- for child. They take you to Buddha statue.

It is the gateway to Hussain Sagar. If you are planning to have a tour on Hyderabad then most of the tourist places are clustered here. Nearby places includes Birla temple made up of fine white marble situated in the hilltop where you can get your view of Hyderabad. There is a I love Hyderabad sculpture nearby . It provides four types of boating services. Speed boat which costs around 350 per person, family boat costs the same. Another boat takes you to the buddha statue and costs only about 50 per head. It provides life jacket for safety of their costumers. Lumbini park also posses a water fountain for capturing beautiful photos. Have a visit and you'll love this place.

Best place to visit in Hyderabad. It includes some non Aqua adventure rides and also water adventure rides. The best one which I took is speed boating costs 350/- per 4people(Even for one also 350only, 2 or 3 also 350only) it's will not take to buddha statue. Next one is normal ship which will take to buddha statue costs 50 per one adult.

First of all too pricy for such a small park, high charges for entry and extra checking for cameras despite the fact that people are literally taking pictures with cellphones. Stench, the likes which our noses have not smelt. It feels like hell was run over and the entire city vomited at the same time. Suggestion, don't go. Better visit The Water Front for a good dinner.

If you want visit your kids in Hyderabad then its best place.. For kids they provided more facilitys. And near there is a hussain sagar (Dam) You can also ride that using boat.

The stay has been nice so far, service is prompt! The housekeeping is exceptional and has been considering my inhibitions with the issue due to current pandemic. Dhanu from the housekeeping is keeping up with all my requests very well and doing a great job on his part!!

This place is really very nice. Rooms are spacious and well maintained with all the facilities. Staff are very co-operative and courteous. We were very impressed with the cleaning staff. Our room was maintained by Mr.Dhanu. he was very particular about the cleaning and taking care of all the possible needs. Much appreciated.

Very good hotel! Nice ambience, Polite room service. They helped us with the extra time we need for stay and provided baby milk whenever needed. Their hospitality is beyond description. Overall we had an amazing stay, just wanted a bit more spacious rooms for the price. Nevertheless their service catered every need. Wonderful team work and excellent receptionist Priya.

Location of the hotel is prime, walkable from the nearest metro station. The front desk was quick and the receipting was good. Good housekeeping, neat rooms. The fitness area is open 24hrs and well maintained. Breakfast was ok. The hotel doesn’t have a swimming pool though. Sanitizer dispensers were located in each floors, which I liked. Overall a good hotel, I would recommend.

I had an evening stop for food recently in this hotel. The restaurant is marvelous. It was well maintained. I met a staff person here Anirudh. He did a great job in taking the order and providing whatever is required. The food is of course marvelous. We had a great time and felt this was the best choice we made that evening. Thanks to Mercure and a special thanks to Anirudh who made it very cheerful.

Pollution is ruining the lake. It is very crowded on the weekend. If visited on week days it can be a great fun for the kids. The boat ride is affordable but the pollution in the lake is a sour point.

Worst security check ever. They don't know difference between bags, hand bags, bag pack. Simply to make money they say keep bags in cloak room. There are no clear rules for baggage which visitor could carry from their side. If your are carrying bag which is a purse your are sure to pay for it. They didn't allow me to carry the bag but some carried it. You can see ( in attached photos)so many people are carrying bag pack which is a serious security breach and threat . Governing body or managing body should have a check over this security agency which allows big backpack for selected people and disallows for families carrying essential items for their kids .

Govt place is always a govt place. Careless attitude. It is called Lumbini Children's Park. See the attached pics. All broken items. No drinking water. If you want to punish someone, then buy veg puffs and give it to them, it was so pathetic. Commission is working well for officers..

I stayed in this hotel for 8 days. It was amazing and excellent experience. Each and every employee was so humble & helping that we felt like at home right from the time we checked in. Food at restaurant was great with lot of varieties and many time they offered us complimentary dishes to our pleasent surprise. We developed very friendly relations with all of them and we were indeed very sad while checking out. Moreover the location and ambience of hotel is perfect. The pearl shop inside the hotel has a good and genuine collection. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I will definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends. Came here for a meeting for infectiois disease doctors. We had a nice small conference room which can seat about 15 to max 20 people. They had a projector and screen installed for presentations. Right from valet parking to service in the meeting room and restaurant got excellent care. Location is very easy to find and in the heart of the city. It is little farther away from airport and financial district, but otherwise easily accessible from everywhere.

I kept calling the reception for status of my room. Eventually they started disconnecting. Called on their landline, they put me on indefinite hold. Finally walked down to get an answer. The lunch buffet was really bad in taste and presentations. No one bothered to clean or replenish the items in the buffet. The dessert section remained with only 20% of the dishes. They were only concerned with clearing the used plates and asking for the room number. No hand towel in the bathroom. On asking i was told that it just got out of stock and I will be provided on soon

An excellent hotel overall. Spacious rooms. Courteous staff. Everything just works. Honestly, there isn’t anything I could complain about in this hotel and that’s all you could as for. But in addition to all of that, it’s located in the centre of the city and that’s a huge bonus! Would recommend 💯

I don't know what is the reason why people were not allowed inside carrying luggage. My friend has a laptop that was not allowed inside and was risky to put in a poorly maintained locker. He'll have to wait outside for me. Seriously, this will be the first park that won't allow a laptop that too without any bags. There are plenty of paid activities to do inside the park. Separate fee for visiting Buddha statue by ferry. Entry charge - 20 rs and ferry ride - 50 rs. Preferably evening would be best time to visit.

I had a really great experience staying here. It is not just the Rooms or luxury. The staff here is so generous and humble. They help you at the extent. All the staff members from reception to house keeping to the restaurant, they are just the best. Food is also very good and i also found it healthy as the quality is good, they prepare with care. I am really overwhelmed with their service offered. 🙏

Nice stay, room was comfortable and functional. Staff very gentle and careful to my requests. Breakfast in my opinion can improve but it was fine. Gym on the last floor good enough. I used their taxi service and it worked well.

It's a good park with several activities.There were two places where they stopped and did security checks . Here you can enjoy boating. It was nice , especially the view of the necklace road from the boat. The boat will be going to Buddha statue and halt there for some time.

It is a nice place to refresh. But, can't stay too long. Speed boat ride is best(3-4mins) best of all in here and costs 350 for 4people but, too much waiting period on weekends. Small swimming pool fit for 20 children max. No luggage allowed inside. There are two trampolines available for children and for Adults also. Can't spend too much time in here. But, on a weekday it could be better with less waiting time and can cover in 1-2 hours.

The main attraction are boat rides, some adventure activities and the beautiful view. Also you can visit the budha statue via boat .

Visited for the first time and did not find it particularly appealing. Development work is going on and large areas are inaccessible and/or covered with rubble. I visited on a Sunday morning, so none of the shops vending stuff was open. So no tea, coffee cold beverages nor snacks. The boating counter was open, and rates seemed to be quite reasonable. Hopefully, when all the development work is completed, it will look more appealing.

Great place for boating and we went there at night, it is open till 9:30pm. Boating was great but we stayed only for 30 mins,, they should have allowed us to stay for more time.

While the park may have scenic potential, the cleanliness issues significantly detracted from the experience. Not recommended for those seeking a serene and dust-free park visit.
