Such a magnificent construction, replica of the Puri Jaganath Temple Odisha. Such a divine experience at the temple with peace and tranquility all over. Vedic chants are heard throughout the premises. Well maintained premises. One will forget everything at the Sanctum Santorum gazing at the presiding deities. Such a beautiful temple is a must visit in Hyderabad.

A place where you could find peace with good atmosphere. The artistic view of the temple is really beautiful. The temple is all covered in red like texture would be an eye feast to see. It is very spacious and also has other gods and goddesses temples inside of it. The build of each temple is very different and very artistic. The view of the temple at night is spectacular. So peaceful and blessed with the visit.

Perfect place to relax some time if we are in the mood for devotionality. Replica model of "Puri Jaganath" pilgrim centre which was in Odisha. Architecture and Construction makes you feel the same as the original ones. Photography is not allowed in the "Garbha Gudi" and the temple staff were maintaining very well.Parking place is very limited.

Peaceful atmosphere and very great architecture of the temple. One of the must visit temples in hyderabad. Open from morning till 12 then after 5pm. If you visit during the sunset time is more beautiful. Vibrant red stone architecture and very well maintained temple. Good to visit with family and friends.

This temple is a hidden gem in Banjara Hills. It felt great to be here. The darshanam didn't take long for us as there was less crowd due to covid. Also, there's enough parking space outside the temple which makes it easy to park your two-wheeler or four-wheeler. It's a temple to visit every once in a while. However, we were not allowed to wait too long inside the temple. But I believe, that's due to covid restrictions.

Visited on 25dec2021. The temple is heavily sculptured and designed to replicate almost exactly as Gujarat jagannath. The temple environment is peace and no noise of large speakers. You can admire the beauty and 🧘‍♀️ too. The surrounding is clean and you have seperate 🚻 toilets. You also get enough parking space which is Free. Most importantly you can click pictures. Hyderabad do not have many landmark monuments, this is one you must visit.

A lovely temple with great architecture. Its peaceful and calm, and the idols are similar to the ones in Puri. Saturdays are a bit rushy and the bogha here tastes amazing.Located at Banjara hills besides pragathi bhavan, and the temple is open till 9 PM. The road in front of the temple is inclined and with heavy traffic , so the parking is provided besides the temple.

Beautiful temple to do darshan of Lord Jagannath and other deities. It’s get busy during evening Aarti but it’s always blissful to sit on the stairs after completing darshan. You can look at all the religious paintings on the wall, they tell beautiful stories from the scriptures. If you leave gaja, don’t miss the prashad here. Parking has moved to the side street between the temple and the police headquarters building

I recently visited the temple and I was really surprised to see how big it is. It's located in the heart of the city, but it's so well maintained and peaceful. The artistic view of the temple is really beautiful, and the red artistic texture is different from any other temple I've seen. There are also other gods and goddesses temples inside the premises. I believe the view of the temple at night would be amazing, and I plan to visit that spectacular view. I highly recommend visiting this temple if you haven't already. You'll be surprised at how peaceful and beautiful it is.

Hyderabad's Best Temple I visited this temple twice. There is still something going on in the complex next to the mosque. Beautiful architecture and immaculate cleanliness. There would be a number of family members of children and elderly men. You should only lie on the floor for hours and observe what's going on around you. This temple can be completed in a brief period of time. The photographs aren't as good as those in India, but they're always worth a glance. If you have any free time, pay a visit to

It was such a pleasure to visit Shree Jagannath Temple in Hyderabad. I had always wanted to see it for myself because of all the glowing reviews. The building is absolutely divine and was larger than I expected upon entering. The temple itself is a beautiful representation of Indian culture and heritage. Really blessed to be able to experience something like this. The kind devotees who greeted me my family were very welcoming and it was truly a pleasure to read about their faith. I am definitely going there again in the near future! I would suggest taking the Temple Tour. It is a great experience and you will get to see the inner movement of the temple from different locations. You will feel blessed (like me) for sure.

Very beautiful place for devotees of lord Vishnu. The idea was to build this in north Indian style and they exactly did the same. Every idol in the temple has its own story carved on the adjacent walls. I suggest all the visitors to keenly observe the story on the walls of every temple and understand the story behind the avatar. Especially to the youth who needs to know about the story. It is good to even click pictures and selfies if the crowd is minimal but during auspicious days there will be crowd and queue for all the darshanams.

Shree Jagannath Temple is a must-visit for anyone seeking spiritual or architectural wonder. This stunning temple in Hyderabad boasts impeccable cleanliness, breathtaking architecture, and intricate carvings that are a sight to behold. The temple offers ample parking space for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers, ensuring a hassle-free visit. Additionally, flowers, incense sticks, and prasadam are readily available for purchase both inside and outside the temple premises. For a small fee of Rs. 5 per pair, you can avail of the shoe storage facility outside the temple. The temple is open for darshan during the mornings (6 AM to 12 PM) and evenings (5 PM to 9 PM). While photography and videography are officially restricted, some visitors were allowed to capture pictures during my last visit. Visit Shree Jagannath Temple for a peaceful and spiritual experience amidst stunning architecture.

A beautiful Shri Jagannath temple. I have visited multiple times, and this time I noticed that they added to the decorations and extensions to the temple structure which made it even more beautiful. Parking is little bit of struggle, primarily entering towards parking is narrow so, lot of congestion and takes time & patience.

The Sri Jagannath Temple in hyderabad , India, is a captivating spiritual haven. Its towering spire and intricate architecture create a mesmerizing atmosphere. The temple's rich history and cultural significance, coupled with the vibrant rituals and festivals, make it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a profound religious experience. However, the crowds during festivals can be overwhelming, affecting the tranquility of the visit. Overall, the temple offers a unique blend of spirituality and architectural beauty.

Certainly a temple of exquisite beauty, a place of divinity mixed with peace and tranquility! The abode of the Lord of the World, the God of the downtrodden, where the devotees have all the freedom, within certain norms of discipline and decency of course, to offer their prayers to the deities in peace and connect with the God almighty. No wonder all sorts of devotees throng the place. One can see happy and contented faces all around. One can worship the Gods and Goddesses on his own or perform many a rituals through the temple priests by paying the prescribed token amount. The place is kept clean to perfection by a dedicated staff. Just by sitting somewhere inside the temple, particularly on the twenty-two steps of the Lord Jagannath temple, will soothe your nerves and connect you to the Almighty. One must experience the unique atmosphere and soak in it's spirit!

the temple is made simillar to the original one in jagannath dham, puri... This is a place that empties the chaos of your mind..heart fills with content and su much emotions when you gaze upon the smiling faces of lord jagannath, lord balabhadra and goddess subhadra...the pure fragrance of sandalwood, tulsi (holy basil) and camphor blended with incense sticks just takes you on a divine trance... As it is said in odisha...lord listens to prayers of all his devotees...there is a vibe in that temple...you would just feel like telling all your hearts thoughts, memories and pain to lord...not in words but through silent eye contact only...and your heart will feel that assurance of the fact that someday your prayers will definitely be answered...this is how a beliver and devotee feels! The temple opens early in the morning (5 am) and usually stays open till 9pm...the temple is maintained by kalinga cultural trust...they organise every festival and occassions related to jagannath culture...their version of ratha yatra (car festival) take u down on a nostalgic trip of memory lane... every year they do that... Apart from rath yatra...they celebrate other occassions like krishna janmashtami and ram navmi etc...there is provision of anna bhog ( having prasadam) at this temple...they take bulk order also...the taste is really authentic and pleasant...people also prefer to invite their guests to the temple to have maha prasadam on various occassions of their family ( birthday, anniversary, namkaran, house warming etc)...the management takes care of the feast really professionally... Ample parking space and easily located via gps

Nice place to relax the soul. The temple premise is big, with many small temples of different Gods around, other than Jagannath temple at the centre. The walls of the premise has beautiful carved sculptures & art telling our old mythological stories. Prasad (fried khaja & gaja) is available inside premise. Car parking is available too.

Shri Jagannath means the lord of the universe, the supreme solace and a savior for countless devotees across the globe. Since times immemorial, the powerful god’s magnificent and monumental shrine in Orissa draws lakhs of devotees. Jagannath Temple is dedicated to revered God Shri Krishna. Jagan means Universe and Nath is the Lord. He is one of the incarnations of Vishnu. This temple is a replica of the original Jagannath Temple of Puri. However, this temple is much smaller and its design resembles the one in Puri, Orissa. The Hyderabad version of Puri’s temple was built on 3000-square yard area. It is located adjacent to the Telangana Bhavan in the posh suburbs of Banjara Hills. This temple is so captivating that it is tagged as one of the must-visit places of Hyderabad. The most appealing portion of the temple is its “Shikaram” (the peak or the top). It is about 70 feet in height. Sand stones brought from Orissa have been used in the construction of this temple, and that justifies its red colour and around 60 sculptors were employed to carve this awe-inspiring temple. The main idols of the temple are Lord Krishna along with his brother BalaRama and sister Subhadra. It also houses five small temples in the premises, that are dedicated to Lord Ganesh (which is to the left of main entrance), Lord Shiva (in the front), Goddess Bhimala ( to the the left on back side), Goddess Lakshmi ( to the right) and two shrines for Navagraha and Shri Hanuman. The temple has three entrances while the main entrance opens right in front of the main temple. One cannot miss noticing the intricately done exterior carving which is considered iconic. The exteriors of the temple are completely made of sand stone while the sanctum sanctorum is done in plain brick wall from the inside. It is considered as one of the modern architectural marvels of Hyderabad city and draws hundreds of visitors every day. It is a place where the city’s Oriya community bond together.

Finding a serene place in this hustle and bustle city is rare. One such beautiful place is this. Nestled among concrete high rise structures the temple looks magnanimous. You will immediately find inner peace and tranquility once u step in. The santum sanctorium is huge and exquisite. Had a time great and would be looking forward to many visits. Must visit if u r in and around Hyderabad.

The Jagannath Temple in HYDERABAD, INDIA,Telangana, is a modern temple built by the ODIA community of the city of Hyderabad dedicated to the HINDU God JAGANNATH. The temple located near banjara hills road no.12 (twelve) in HYDERABAD is famous for its annual RATHYATRA festival attended by thousands of devotees. Jagannath means Lord of the Universe. The temple which was constructed during 2009 recently lies in Center of Hyderabad City. It is said that this is a replica of the original Jagannath Temple of PURI (Odisha) in the context of design. The most attractive portion of this temple is its "Shikhara" (the peak/top) measuring around 70 feet in height. The red color of the temple is due to the usage of sandstone (around 600 tonnes were brought from Odisha which is being used to build this whole architecture) and around 60 stone carvers got the blessing to carve this temple. There are shrines dedicated to LAKSHMI, along with SHIVA, GANESH, HANUMAN and NAVAGRAHA. The amorous sculptures are also found outside the temple to ward off evil spirits. The sanctum Santorum houses Lord JAGANNATH along with his siblings, Lord BALABHADRA and DEVI SUBHADRA.

A place where you could find peace with good atmosphere. Hare Krishna! The artistic view of the temple is really splendid. The temple is all covered in red like texture would be an eye feast to see. It is very spacious and also has other gods and goddesses temples inside of it. The build of each temple is very different and very artistic. The view of the temple at night is spectacular. So peaceful and blessed with the visit.

The Puri Jagannath Temple in Hyderabad is a beautiful and serene place to visit. It is a replica of the original Jagannath Temple in Puri, Odisha, and is dedicated to Lord Jagannath, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The temple is located in the Banjara Hills neighborhood of Hyderabad, and is easily accessible by public transportation and private vehicles. The temple is built in the traditional Odia style, with intricate carvings and sculptures adorning the walls and pillars. The main sanctum sanctorum houses the deities of Lord Jagannath, his brother Balabhadra, and their sister Subhadra. The deities are made of wood and are replaced every 12 years in a ritual called the Nabakalebara. The temple complex also includes a number of other shrines, including a shrine to Lord Hanuman, a shrine to Lord Ganesha, and a shrine to Lord Shiva. There is also a large courtyard where devotees can gather to pray and sing bhajans. The Puri Jagannath Temple is a popular tourist destination, and is also visited by a large number of locals on a daily basis. The temple is open from 6am to 12pm and from 5pm to 9pm. There is no entry fee to visit the temple. **Here are some of the things that I liked about the Puri Jagannath Temple in Hyderabad:** * The temple is very clean and well-maintained. * The architecture of the temple is beautiful and intricate. * The deities in the main sanctum sanctorum are very impressive. * The temple has a very peaceful and serene atmosphere. * The temple is easily accessible by public transportation and private vehicles. **Here are some tips for visiting the Puri Jagannath Temple in Hyderabad:** * The best time to visit the temple is early in the morning or late in the evening, when it is less crowded. * Dress appropriately when visiting the temple. Men should wear full pants and women should wear skirts or dresses that cover their knees. * Remove your shoes before entering the temple. * Be respectful of other devotees and maintain silence in the temple premises. * You can donate money to the temple at the donation box located near the entrance. Overall, I had a very positive experience visiting the Puri Jagannath Temple in Hyderabad. It is a beautiful and serene place to visit, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in Hindu temples or simply looking for a peaceful place to relax and reflect.
