Luxurious and spacious rooms (especially the suites - largest I have seen in any hotel. Modern interiors, great rooftop space, and poolside bar. Service is also great. Morning breakfast spread is amazing - so many fresh options and live counters. Overall great choice and value for 5 star hotel.

We visited this hotel during the new year event arranged by hotel and booked the Kohinoor hall. The hall had enough space to accommodate the crowd. It was not overcrowded which kind of helped everyone to enjoy to the fullest. Food both starters and main course were very good in taste. The best thing is that hotel staff ensured that the food stalls are refilled till the end of event and so there was no shortage or rush for the food for the whole crowd. Would love to visit with family for a stay at this hotel !!

The Taj Deccan lives up to thr Taj standard of hospitality and care of its guests. The location is close to the GVK mall and you have access to the restaurants in the mall but for any other restaurants, you need to travel about 15 - 30 mins by auto. The Banjara Hills area is posh but you cannot really walk around - it is too busy and there are literally no footpaths. Rooms are decent sized. I wish they provided real milk or cream sachet instead of milk powder. Lighting in the room was excellent. The Taj restaurants serve great food and the breakfast spread is varied enough to please everyone.

Beautiful place. When I visited, the place was under renovation but the staff there made sure we face no inconvenience. The restaurant is great there. Buffet offered a larger menu and the price was reasonable. Special mention to the hotel staff for being so sweet.

We had 3 days and 2 nights stay here recently. They had renovation going on but not much disturbance and we had wonderful stay. Rooms are quite small compare to other 5 star hotels but in good condition. Hospitality is good and staff is very supportive. Breakfast and dinner buffet was good, Chef Ankush and team had taken utmost care with variety of menus. Satya and team were also cooperative and supportive during our stay.

Location of this hotel is superb in an upmarket locality of Secunderabad! Food, service, swimming pool, dining area were just wonderful. Room was spacious and comfortable but the only bit of issue was sealing from outside noise in the gallery from people passing through. There was restricted view from the window. The room could have been more scenic and airy! But overall it was a good experience!

Extremely inconsiderate staff. Very very Disrespectful towards the guests, very insulting and even more humiliating. No guest deserves such treatment whatsoever the situation may be. Could have handled things much better than this. I Don’t ever want to return here after this. Not do I want anyone ever to visit this hotel. Made us feel like we don’t belong here. Disgusting. Pretty good infrastructure and management. Everything was hygienic, all the mirrors and setup was quite good. However there was some uncleaned spilling in gents washroom which seems to be the result of not allocating a toilet staff for maintenance or I just entered in a period where some guest had spilled it. Ambient fragrances were elegant. Staff like security guards and stewards were polite and good to interact with, they were helpful. Overall, I liked this experience.

Ambience was very good. Staff was courteous. However, the food was below sub par. Not a single dish was good. This includes curd rice as well. The menu was constrained (buffet) may be due to COVID but it was not worth it. We definitely are planning to go again anytime soon.

Service of hotel was good however the occupancy of hotel was low during stay. We went for a wedding reception at Taj Deccan Lawns. The whole ambience of the reception was top-notch including the valet parking at the entrance and while exiting. The meals and the spread were really nice and the staff very courteous. If you are in the list of 1% of the richest in Hyderabad, this is the place to hold functions

Chef Srinivas was so helpful with deciding food menu for our wedding. We needed everything to be Vegan and this legend is so knowledgeable, he knew every little ingredient that went into each dish. Food was the most delicious food ever. We had a beautiful wedding and other wedding events at Synergy. We were worried the renovations would disturb the events but we never heard a thing.

Everything you need to feel comfortable is taken care of. Service as expected from the brand. Only the in dining prices are too high for having a full happy meal. Better to book rooms with meals as per requirement.

Extensive renovation work under progress coz of which there is a lot of disturbance throughout the day. Rooms are big but need extensive makeover as the rooms are old and work is under progress. The location is excellent, and It can't be any better. Staff is better than amazing 👏 Most of them tried their level best to make sure I had a comfortable stay, but due to noise, they couldn't do much but upgraded me😍. Food is also very Good in taste. Overall It was a wonderful experience except the noise due renovation.

Hi Guys, I would like to share some positive feedbacks about the stay at Taj Deccan, Hyd, facilities are good enough for a stay, wherein the location and Connectivity is the key attraction to mark. A Well maintained property from GVK operated by Taj with cost effective rates for a 5⭐, Courteous staffs , A decent restaurant, A Clean Pool and recreational spaces with a comfy Gym.. Wellness services like spa/salon also found very cost effective, compare to Taj Krishna premium factors slightly less but they are progressing with the upgradation. Rooms are good enough but there are few areas of improvement like the bed was really not comfortable, which they have redressed with some value added measures. Over all Good👍🏼

Courteous staff. Good food. Big comfortable rooms. There's a renovation work going on currently but the staff is extra cautious to take care of their guests! Also, a decent gym!

Was at Arena restaurant on Sunday Jan 28, 2024 for Buffet lunch to celebrate my wife's birthday. Excellent service by the staff, specially Venkat, Krishna, and Satya, who personally ensured that that my wife's choice of vegetarian starters and dishes (beyond the menu spread) were made and served to make it a special occasion.

Our family's visit to the taj deccan event was a disaster. The sound quality was terrible, and we couldn't enjoy it at all. We had hoped for an event at the Taj level, but it fell far short of our expectations. Furthermore, the management was chaotic, and there were no proper arrangements for the dandiya event

A major letdown at the Taj deccan dandiya event. We attended as a family, hoping for a memorable experience, but it was far from that. The sound quality was dreadful, and we couldn't enjoy a single moment. Definitely not up to Taj's usual standard

overall it was fantastic, good stay at this place, felt so comfortable, easy and quick process. it will be regular place for us to stay for future visits. staffs were so helping nature, they guide very well and they quickly grasp our feelings and suggest us regarding room selection, food, local place visits tips, travel assistance etc. thanks for well managing the entire operations.

Went to meet a guest here yesterday. We sat in the coffee shop there was no AC functioning, though we requested to put it on our request was denied it was hot and guest asked them to give tissues to wipe sweat. Ordered coffee had it and left Not a complaint, I grew up seeing "taj" my uncle used to stay in naveen nagar just behind lane ,so we used to attend all expos and sometimes used to meet our guests. honest review, First of all it is into renovation, they have not informed and lot of disturbance because of renovation. They have taken lot of money, but I must live worst experience. I left my belongings trimmers in the room while leaving I have not got any response for that. One of the worst experience in Taj Hotels.

Had a great time in taj Deccan. which gave us wonderful experience. Every dishe we had has been testfull and full of satisfaction. Lot of variety, colours of food, decoration and the arrangement of the food was the best part of taj Deccan and also the way they present it on plat The best part here is the staff. The way they resive the coustomers with so much of respect and warmth (mahendhar,Krishna and ragu)and that was the highlight of the evening

Courteous staff.. excellent experience.. good food.. i have a son who is 8 years old. Staff helped us arrange a swim goggle for him.. they bring water bottles where ever we go..and make sure we are comfortable at every step..

Really great hotel. They are following all the covid protocols. The check in process is smooth. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. There are many amenities in the building( fitness center, parlour band barber to name a few) The room service was quick. The buffet had a large variety and the food was great. The chicken sausages and the hash browns are a must try. The tea was "kadak"(refreshing). There is also a great lawn and a great swimming pool to help pass time, both of which are in tip top condition. There also a tennis court in okay condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall the stay was great 👍.

This is a Five Star Hotel in the Heart of the city of Hyderabad... Located in very costly area called Banjara Hills... It has luxurious rooms, function halls, meeting halls and spacious portico and good ambient Open Restaurant under high rise sealed roof

2nd I'm visit hyderabad at by Taj. The sitting arrangement is as usual but food is very tasty and cover with lot of varieties. Either you take north or south food both are tasty 😋. Food is not spicy so kids can also easily eat. The only thing I feel missed is ice cream else rest everything is worth eating.and we celebrate my daughter birthday also this hotel staff spotted thanks

I went to discuss a marriage proposal with the girl's parents. Over breakfast we discussed. It is a nice place - calm and quiet. Enjoyed the ambience and prompt service and hospitality.

Attended a banquet wedding which was very well managed. The food too was excellent. Valet parking too was well organized. The hotel entry had a security kiosk, but our car was allowed to pass without being checked which should be definitely be mandatory.

Taj Deccan is a beautiful property with lush greenery and age old architecture. There's something unique about how the carvings are drawn on the property walls and it brings home the nostalgia of an era bygone! The staff was extremely helpful and the property is taking good care of health measures and maintaining hygiene. The rooms were clean and well equipped. Although one could expect the guests to wear masks for their own safety but I guess people are over with the pandemic. The restaurant was nice and I would absolutely recommend having the nalli mutton here. It was a brilliant dish and was cooked to perfection. The breakfast buffet spread was huge and tasted so good. All in all, this is a nice Taj property if you want a staycation or are visiting Hyderabad for a few days.

In case of washrooms of conference Halls i rate it 3 stars.does not have all the amenities. Quite good infrastructure. For food i give 3.8 star raiting veg. Not too good for spicy eaters

Went there for a meeting of Apollo doctors at the pool side lawns. The location is great, in the city center. Parking space is less, I had to park far away and walk, but you can always do valet service. As you walk in the building , you can see it was built with thought and class. The central restaurant in very nice with lots of indoor plants. Food at the program was really nice, not too spicy and was very tasty. It was raining at the time of the meeting but they had a covered outdoor area, which worked out great.

It was good. We visit hotel for training arranged in hotel by company.It's a nice place to have business meetings, conduct small exhibitions and it's great for having breakfast, lunch and brunch as they have a good collection of variety of items including both veg and non veg options. In the dining area, there is a water body with fishes which is attraction for kids. Found price on bit higher side but then it's Taj hotel chain. Service is very prompt and fast, staff also helpful they make your stay very comfortable. Laundry service was available. Swimming pool, gym and saloon were available.,

It is a dated property. Service was great. Ambience was great at the reception. And the dining area stands out, probably the best in my two month visit in India. There were plenty of options to choose from for breakfast/dinner to dine in, the taste could have been better. Kumar, the Chef went out of his way to make sure he prepares the dishes to your palate. He has patience and and we had a long conversation about the variety of dishes he can offer to the guests. Also, Nitesh at the dining reception was courteous as well.

Taj Deccan’s service starts with the friendly security and greeting cum parking staff. The front office staff is always pleasant and providing efficient check in’s, transportation requests. Special mention to the staff that handles the breakfast in the AM, from the chefs to the server staff, everyone is customer centric and provide great service. I have stayed here several times in the past 6 years and its always been predictable with a hint of nawabi hospitality.

I stayed here for a whole week. It’s great for business travelers. The service makes you feel really pampered. The breakfast buffet is nice and Luxurious. I appreciated the service of all of the staff there especially Jay. The tea and coffee are so good with local Hyderabadi flavors. Would recommend to all travelers especially the ones traveling for work.

Aging property in a convenient location. Rooms are comfortable but surprisingly lack some basic amenities that are just expected these days. Staff are friendly but not as attentive as we've come to expect from hotels of this caliber. Overalls I would not stay again.

Seating in the Arena was quite safe and well arranged. Realized that there were many programs in the hotel on the day when we stayed and this would have contributed to the crowd. Went there for New year party. It was a good experience. Party was in the lawn area. DJ rocked. But disappointed with liquor brands there. Expected better. Rooms and service is excellent. Staff is polite and helpful.

Good location and service. However, rooms are dated. The room I got smelled stale for the first few days (I stayed 4 nights). Room not worth even 3 stars . Taj really needs to fix the rooms quickly or stop calling this a 5 Star hotel. Food is good. Service is excellent.
