We stayed here for two days, staff were courteous and service was good. Buffet breakfast is just about average. Rooms show signs of aging, rooms facing the main road can get noisy even during night. The restaurant at the hotel was disappointing. They charge 5 star prices, but one of the starters we got had hairs in it and also a salad was served with rotten Tomato.

I had booked a premium room but was upgraded to their club room due to non availability of a "king" size bed in premium room. The room was good and provided a nice view of the city but the size of the room was small. Even their "king" size bed was actually queen size. The room had an inbuilt steam bath option in the bathroom but unfortunately it wasn't working. Their breakfast buffet had a decent spread.

Reasonably nice and maintained though its quite old hotel . My relatives who stays abroad prefers staying in golconda as its located in the centre of city . And its also good and economically to arrange to small events professionally and personally both. Good luck team golconda

Stay was good. I stayed here from 23 Aug to 26 Aug 22. The rooms are good and quite spacious. No complain for rooms. However, the service for food is worst. Since last 2 days providing same breakfast. Very worst service I have ever seen. In this price, you will get good hotel with excellent service. Do not try this hotel ever

A fantastic job of the renovation done by the management, good cozy rooms and a touch of elegance is always felt when one enters the rooms. The staff are very professional and can handle most requests from a fellow customer. They’re food menu has a large selection and leaves one craving for more as the taste too is excellent.

The hotel is located in a convenient area, close to the main attractions of the city. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice view of the city. The food was delicious, with a variety of cuisines to choose from. The hotel also has a pool, a fitness centre, and a spa, where I enjoyed relaxing after a busy day. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hyderabad.

Don't judge the hotel by its front yard or parking. It's a good hotel in the heart of the city. After it went through renovation, now it is looking very elegant. The food is very tasty. It serves some authentic signature stuff (food) of Hyderabad. I wish the hotel was built much larger in size than in its present form. Maybe the promoters could not find a larger space when they embarked. Anyways a guest will definitely enjoy this place, I suppose.

Even one star is more for how they welcome their guests, Worst Reception staff you will ever come across, worse Duty manager, they behave as if they are doing you a favor by giving a room in their hotel…! They want money upfront for everything, as if you gonna runaway. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, unless you like to get humiliated by the Receptionists.

Rooms are satisfactory. Amenities are very much impressive. Pleasant services in UPPERDESK. Restaurant foods are very hygienic and tastes worthy. But, seems same menu followed and also we noticed and complained about insects flying in restaurant area. Room cleaning Service need to be improved. We requested 4 times for floor mat and fragrance liquid in our rest room but, no response. Finally Safe and Comfortable accommodation for Family members.

Maybe this place had the charm once upon a time, but it's no longer even a three star hotel. The linen, towels and carpeting were super old. The soap holder in the bathroom was broken. Saw a cockroach running about. Service was very slow and one needed to call reception half a dozen times. Sometimes no one even picked up the phone. Food was the only good part about the stay.

Just checked in..not allowed any early check-in, may be they were full. never mind. But, no welcome drink, not even water was offered, after asking for water multiple times at reception, it wasn't served. Last when asked they said room is ready, you go there and they will provide. Not good as for now, will stay fo r 3 days and will update further for the food, service, hospitality and hygiene & ambience. For now its 2 ratings and all for the guy sitting at wellness and pool, He is very polite and nice.

Clean and hygienic. The hospitality was very good. Loved the view from my room. Though the swimming pool was amazing during my visit, it was heavily raining. Couldn't utilize that, but seems awesome! Thanks to the lady who provided Dosa's in the morning for the breakfast. She was polite and sweet. 1 extra star for her.

This hotel is filthy. The first thing you notice about our rooms is the smell of mildew like a wet basement. That’s because there was mildew all over the showers, which do not have proper exhaust. This is dangerous to breath. We has to ask that they be cleaned with bleach. Our pillows and pillow cases were stained. When we asked for new ones we were told the stains were rain water. What would rain water be on a pillow? The room service was advertised as 24 hours but when we called we were told that the kitchen was closed. There is a round a clock section on their room service menu but they told us they only had sandwiches. No drinks. No snacks. What a waste of money. It was so bad that we will not complete our stay. This hotel is a stain on the city like the stains on our pillows. The pictures, by the way are of the replacement pillows we weee given and the shower AFTER is was “cleaned.”

Rooms are very good, especially the suite rooms. Excellent soundproof and ambience. Bathroom needs refurbishment. Food, especially the breakfast, requires to be upgraded in terms of both quality and quantity. The reception staff has to serve with a smile. Since this is the first point of customer interaction with the hotel, the front desk can make or break a guest's impression about the hotel. Rest of the staff members are very good. Location is nice but not great. According to me, the hotel lacks the " repeat value".

The staff is courteous, went for an event, but the food was sub par if considering the reputation of the place. Breads were cold and chewy, I think I've had better taste of curries than here in a low key place. Didn't expect this kind of food. Well trained staff although, but that alone can't cover all bases

The service staff are rude. Especially if you are an Indian and a women. For the breakfast buffer services, if something was asked by foreigners they immediately complied and if the same was done by us, the response I received was rude and do it yourself attitude! It's a four star hotel but their service staff are not at all trained to talk politely to customers. I am personally very silent and soft spoken person, so I find it very hard to digest when you are kind to someone and the response you receive is so rude. Never visiting this hotel. Food was tasty though 😋

A very bad experience of staying with the Golkonda hotel. The forst room I was given had cockroaches and a weird smell. The second room was not a delight either with the poor ac temperature control, poor wifi and the traffic noises. Overall the stay was pathetic, do not recommended this hotel.

It is a decent hotel. 30 years old property. The staff is courteous. Service in general is very good. The decor is old. The rooms are spacious but need some renovation. The buffet spread is quite decent. Food is good. It is just beside the highway, so you can expect traffic noise in the night.

Went for buffet lunch. Spread was good with a lot of options. South Indian items were limited. Deserts were very good. Spicy levels were normal. Value for money.

You will get chapati in 20 min and the person will say kitchen is busy. 2. You will get cold tea and the attended will make is hot in microwave. Very funny. 3. Morning tea you will get in 40 min 3. Good hotel in centre of city, 1.2km away from ladkipul metro. Breakfast is so amazing, with variety of dishes... Even for dinner also there was veg delight which I am very sure 2 people can have comfortably. Bathroom space is decent but they could have given a different look to bath section where some rooms had a smaller bathing area... room was clean and neat and cleaning staffs were very prompt and well behaved.

Location wise it’s really good and affordable. Rooms need to be a bit more maintained. We booked 3 rooms and 1 room had AC water leakage but other 2 didn’t have any issue. Food: they really had a good variety of breakfast buffet and taste was really good.

Upendra & ushahi designated at reception are too rude in welcoming guest & spread a kind of arrogant vibe we don't come to your hotel to see shrude faces.. The rooms show the age of the hotel. Would have been very nice a few years ago. For example, the shower stall door has a gap, so a rivulet runs through the rest of the bathroom post a shower. The TV remote is a bit of a struggle too... overused by overzealous patrons.

The place and food is awesome. The staff is very nice and polite. Our advisor Shashi Singh, also suggested when we asked for his opinion and he was very professional and hospitable. He recommended certain items which were very good. Felt very homely. The ambience is amazing. A little pricey, though. But overall a very good experience.

We ate at the restaurant in the lobby. Good tasty food except for the starter kebab, which were way too spicy. Service and ambience is good. Choice of buffet is good.

Hotel is good but old so some systems not functioning perfectly, but that is more a maintenance issue. Location and layout is fine. Food is nice but the breakfast buffet management falls short of requirement. When we were there hotel was full and staff was quite disorganised. For all mornings were similar. Staff is courteous though and overall things were pretty ok.

Rooms are well maintained and floor is mopped everyday. Curtains, tables and sofasets are clean. Dustbins are provided and they are emptied everyday. Food is delicious and the fruits provided are of Best quality. Washrooms are hygienic and all the required amenities are provided in the washroom. Room service response is top notch. So the infrastructure is pretty good but the service and communication between the staff is bad. Here are the pros and cons.. Cons- Before I arrived I called and checked to make sure the hotel would still offer dinner when I came. I came at exactly the time I said I would but the staff said the dinner was not available and I had to order room service. I asked for extra towels to be sent up but I had to ask twice before it actually came. Their cappuccino machine was broken and the regular coffee that was offered wasn't good at all. They did not bring my swiggy food parcel up to my room as I had requested and I had to go all the way to the gate and get it. The phone was not always answered. Since it's a hotel one would expect that they answer each call. The shower cubical allowed water to leak all over the bathroom floor even when shut. Restaurant prices are too high and not so well managed. Pros- It's centrally located The infrastructure is quite nice. They have a special smoking room so the others are not disturbed by the smell. The food was brought to the rooms quite fast. The requests made by me regarding the rooms and the beds prior to my arrival was fulfilled. The rooms were cleaned often. The view to the main road was good. Good ambience

We hosted a family wedding in Mayfair banquet hall last week. We had a great experience. Pradeep, Akif and their team are truly the best. There were attentive, easy to work with and professional. The food was very delicious. They have fulfilled what they have agreed. We absolutely recommend this to everyone!!

Decent clean rooms with most basic amenities. They have flexible 24hr check-in, which was super helpful. Room service was good. WiFi was a little choppy at times. Otherwise this place is a good value for the money you pay for.

I stayed at Golkonda Hotel for the period Nov 25 - Nov 28. There are several reasons why I would recommend this place: 1. Location - It is centrally located and good connectivity via all transportation options. 2. Hospitality - Very humble and polite staff. 3. Service - Excellent customer service, they even provided us with a free upgrade of room. 4. Food - Being a 4 star hotel, prices are reasonably high. But, the quality of food is very good. We had breakfast included. It was a full scale buffet with excellent options.

I stayed at this hotel following my son’s wedding, on my first visit to India. My room was on the 7th floor, with excellent facilities- including a sauna- and a wonderful view. Everything about this hotel is superb. The service is fantastic, and the staff are courteous and efficient. I had breakfast, and also dined at the Melange restaurant. The evening menu includes a buffet, which is absolutely wonderful, and amazing value. There are many delicious vegetarian as well as chicken and fish dishes- mostly in South Indian style. The deserts included in the buffet included a lemon and mint pudding, which was so delicious that I asked for the recipe. The chef came to write it down and explain it to me. Truly excellent.

This is an old property which seems to be renovated partially. Bathroom Fixtures in most of the rooms are not working properly. There is typical smell in the rooms and lobby. Service is also poor. Inspite of asking for hand towel and an extra towel for number of times, it was not provided until I raised my voice at reception and asked for duty manager to raise this issue. I get extra towel after 12 hours ( during which I called housekeeping and reception for 4-5 times) and they didn't provide hand towel till my check out. Food quality was also below average. Very ordinary hotel taking premium charges. Simply avoid this if possible.

Located in the heart of the city and equidistant from major commercial and tourist attractions, this hotel provides a very good stay option. The Banquet halls are also good. It's one of my preferred hotels in Hyderabad for short stays. An old school place with little to no swankiness but that's the charm I prefer. Rooms are spacious, and well lit. Some of the rooms look into trees and the residential areas around the hotel. Views are nothing spectacular but not bad. Bathrooms are spacious. Food, restaurant, gym etc are decent. Pool area is quite pretty. The hotel is centrally located and super accessible from most parts of Hyderabad including the airport. Nearest metro is abt a kilometer away. I love the restaurants and street food eateries around the hotel. Delight for meat lovers. It's an old property hence one might feel it needs a bit of a face uplift. Service can be better. It's not bad but not very welcoming sometimws. Most staff, front desk and restaurant can try to be a bit more energetic. Worth a visit overall.
