WORST HOSTEL EXPERIENCE EVER!! πŸ‘Ž 1. No one received the call when I tried like 13 times on the check-in day. 2. No proper management service available at the property, the host hired a mid-age boy (I don't think he is legally eligible to work, probably he's 16) who manages everything in such vague manner. 3. Hygiene is 0/10 the bedsheets & blankets smell like hell dirty beds washroom condition is too bad. faucet gun is broken, untidy with zero maintenance. And smells like shh.. 4. Worst management. I booked a bed in 6 bed dorm. The manager boy asked me to take 9 bed dorm instead. And when I moved into the 6 bed room dorm, myslef and two others sleeping in the same room got waked up at 12 AM by a group of 6 other guests who booked all the 6 beds. Then we had to call the manager boy, and literally all got into a scuffle at midnight to sort out the confusion. then i was asked to move to another room at 1am where the bed was more dirty like hell. 5. The manager/host doesn't attend calls, unless they want to talk to you. And the manager guy doesn't stay at the property, so technically there'll be no one to manage / oversee things there. 6. Except for the fact that it is located in the main area - banjara hills and the price is 200 less than other nearby options I made the worst decision to stay there. If you any of you guys stay at this place and prove all these points are incorrect, I'll delete my review for sure.

Had to wait for 2.5 hours for caretaker, no one at the property, no bed sheets, pillow cover, no one to allot a proper bed. Seems like all self service to figure out. Location is good and flat seems to be new. Already people are staying for months here so owner wants to utilise space during the day. Avoid if you are expecting any good service as no one responds back immediately on phone as well.

DO NOT STAY HERE! I can imagine that this place was once a lovely hostel, as I can still see the leftovers of a spacious living room to meet people. However, it's quite noticable that the ownership has changed and that the new owner isn't doing the most basic things. 1. security: According to hostelworld there's 24h security, however when we arrived at 8 A.M. there was noone to be found, instead the doors were wide open and everybody could have just entered. 2. Check-in: According to their own conditions on Hostelworld, check-in was supposed to be from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. However, by noon, there was still no sign of anyone to assist us, neither in person nor through any online means. Only once we called someone showed up -hours later. 3. No lockers in our room: the hostel's advertising of personal lockers is far away from the reality we encountered. The lockers were supposedly available, as per their Hostelworld page, but they were located in a men-only room, which I as a female couldn't really enter. 4. rooms not cleaned: The rooms were dirty and smelled like cold cigarettes, the kitchen hasn't been cleaned in quite a while. There were no bedsheets on the "available" beds, instead empty bottles and what not. When the receptionist, who could be no older than 16 and with an accent that we had troubles to understand, finally arrived he just picked up the bottles but didn't seem to see an issue and was surprised that we did. He claimed that there's 24 hour security but also after we left there was not even a trace of a security guard. It ended with us leaving the hostel immediately and not staying a night, which I never did before. But here I felt uncomfortable and didn't want to stay a second too long. If you want to have a good stay in Hyderabad please don't stay here!! There are many other places that take basic needs of clean facilities and safety far more serious.

We booked here owing to the great reviews the place had in Google. But we were totally disappointed. When the name suggests backpackers hostel, it needs to improve a lot. We didn't have anyone to receive us when we came by 10am. We had help from fellow hostellers and had to reach out to the person in charge. We stayed on a Saturday as we had come for sight seeing. We had left our belongings, informed the host and went out for sightseeing. By the time we returned our bed was not made, the ac was not working and still we hadn't seen the host. This place needs to improve a lot wrt boasting as a backpackers type. Place was clean and maintained well. Good location. There is just a small board outside so it's difficult to locate, but trust the Google maps and ask for someone if you can't find the board.

Had a great experience at Beehive! Initially wanted to only stay for one day but I ended up staying more than 4 days. People are nice, female dorm was clean and AC was working, there’s a community kitchen and a washing machine. The second floor also has a workspace which makes it great for remote work! Very peaceful location, spacious and undisturbed.

It was an awesome stay at Beehive, if you are traveling solo then it should be your first choice. There's a fully functional kitchen too.. and a furnished office area! Amazing right..!! I made some friends too and had really good time exploring places with them. You'll always have company.. that's the best thing!

DO NOT VISIT. Extremely unsafe. 2 people lost their wallets. they will say they have lockers but they do not work. I went out for a walk and when i came back they moved my ENTIRE STUFF to a different floor and room WITHOUT my permission and without Informing me. there is no full time caretaker , so i had to figure out where ALL my stuff was. i paid for a 6 bed dorm and was moved to a 9 bed mixed dorm Do not do the mistake of staying there. the bathrooms stink and the dishes are dirty too. the AC doesnt work since past 5 days i have been here. and dont go by the other reviews as they pay you Rs 50 for writing a good review.

It is a very peaceful, clean and safe place to stay. The people at the hostel are very sweet talked about maintaining the hostel well, keeping the dormitories, common areas, rest rooms. Special idea joined with incredible quality offers 5-star insight for the spending plan voyager. Trust this idea could be reproduced across different urban communities in India.

I stayed in the female dorm for 2 nights. When I arrived there was no caretaker and this place does not have a reception area. One of the inmates shared the number of Zubin whom I called and he allowed me to check in early that day. However, since it was Diwali, the room was not clean and there were no fresh bedsheets/pillow covers available so I had to use my shawl instead. However that day I got bitten by mosquitoes and am now down with dengue. Another female living in the room was also down with a bad flu. On the first day there was no mosquito repellent and the toilet was stinking and there was no handwash too. This place lacks in terms of hygiene. On the 2nd day, I was provided with the repellant sticks and handwash and dustbins were finally clean after 2 days. I do understand it was festive time, but due to which I have to now bear the brunt of fever and dengue. Zubin who is incharge of the place is responsive and helpful and got things arranged as requested. However the delay got everything messed up for me. They don't follow covid protocols like temperature checking on arrival and sanitisation etc.I have stayed in hostels in India and abroad as I solo travel but I would not go back to staying in a unpopular hostel again because hygiene should be the utmost priority of any shared accomodation. Out here it needs immense improvement. The locality is the perk of this place.

Not sure about the good reviews posted, but I had a terrible experience at this hostel. 1st, this is not a stand alone building, it's situated in residential society. 2nd, there is no reception area, so not sure what to do at arrival/checking in. 3rd, if you are lucky and finds manager's mobile no, he'll direct you to the house keeper, (was not available at the time) whom does not know Hindi/English, so again not sure how to deal the situation if you don't know Telgu. 4th, rooms are not proper cleaned wrt bedsheet and covers. 5th, overall the vibe at this hostel is more of the abandoned stoner's place. If you are expecting to hangout with hostel's as Zostel/GoStops, this hostel is NOT recommended.

A very basic hostel. Location is good and close to the major attractions. But the place needs to be better maintained. I know it is a backpacker hostel, but there should be a more proactive approach to cleaning the place. Also if you are driving there, there is parking . However, I was woken up twice at night 11pm to move my car here and there which wasn't a pleasant experience at all.

One of the best dorms I have visited, it's like a 3 star hotel for dorms. The place, cleanliness and ambience everything is good. We are looking for hotels for 7am check in and the other hotels are charging hefty prices but they allowed on availability basis free of cost. That's something which will make your brand standout in the crowd.

It was same as shown on most of the known online platform pictures - clean and lively. Big common hall with ample sofa sets, games, common kitchen to make your own food. I have met many people in my 5 days stay. We played, ate, went out together and shared each other's experiences. The price is very reasonable for such a great experience. Zubin - the host is also a very good and friendly person

This was one of the worst hostels I have been to. I wouldn't stay here again and I don't recommend it to anyone It is one floor in an apartment building. When I checked in, the caretaker put the folded bedsheet on the mattress and said I have to make the bed myself, as due to his weight he can't make beds on the top bunk. In evening and night there is a big mosquito problem in common room. In 6 bed dorm I am in flush and light were not functional in Bathroom. Checkout experience was the worst possible. As 10 am is there checkout time. I vacated my bed and took luggage and sat in common room. I was w8ing for a friend for picking me up at 1:30pm. Caretaker came around 11 and said I need to vacate the house immediately and can't even stay in common room. I asked all hostels and hotels allow people to stay in common area after checkout for sometime. He said he knows all about hostels and they take extra 200-300 if I have to stay until 1 pm. I asked for owner or manager number and he said he can't give that as manager is sleeping at this time. It was very rude and disrespectful for no reason. I just vacated immediately and waited outside on the road for my friend. When I was leaving caretaker opened the door and waited for me to get in the lift..I don't know what to make of it. I wouldn't mind other issues if it was not for the disrespectful attitude and worst checkout experience.

Good place for a pleasant stay!! But a bit high prices for the provided amenities, there're no much indoor sports available except table games like Caroms/Business/Chess... i suggest the management to improve somemore to attract tourists. It's located in Panjagutta, but address is mentioned as Banjara Hills

I wouldn’t recommend this place to people coming for a day. This looks like a typical co-ed hostel types without food. Location is good but one should make their own meals or order. Not even a cup of coffee is provided.

The rooms are okay, they are very congested. The place is good you will get to meet so many new people and it's a chill place to stay In Hyderabad for a few days. They have facilities like wifi, tv, board games, kitchen etc. It's fun to live here but the rooms and washrooms are small.

I Stayed for a Month. As a solo backpacker, I think it’s the best hostel I haven't seen. I’m kinda socially awkward. But the guest who stayed here always friendly talked to me. Very friendly like you’ll never see them in their bad mood face always feel like positive vibes surrounded yourself. You can't feel that you were missing your home it seems to be second home for the people who travell alone. Definitely recommend to stay 😊

One of the best hostels I have stayed in my life till now. The people, the vibe, the place, the locality, the food which we cooked together...... Ooh I can go on and on, I ever felt like I w a s staying in a hostel except for the king size bed which I was missing from my house😜, Beehive has been my second home. I have been there for 3 weeks and that has been a learning to me in my life both professionally and personally. We meet so many different kind of people from different backgrounds, different communities and different places, but together we be as one as a family. I wouldn't call this as a hostel to be frank it's the experience and the learning that we take away with us when we leave, I have met so many wonderful people in Beehive on the journey of my life and have made so many memories there with the people, these memories are always happy moments that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Now if I come to the facilities offered by the tel, I should say they are quite well equipped and can get all the work done from there (thanks to the superb wifi available), during my stay the lights were changed which feel a little dull in my view during the nights. There is a washing machine available at the property and it's chargeable, but I felt β‚Ή150 per wash is quite on the higher side. There is always scope for improvement and I personally don't have any suggestions but there is a great team working on it and we needn't worry about it. Zakir was the host when I actually checked in and was a wonderful person trying to get the things done. Srishti took charge as time passed by and she has been a wonderful host too. I can't wait to come back here, I seriously miss you guys so much. Until then Good Bye, godspeed.

Stay at this hostel, if you are looking to make great conversations with other travelers. I have stayed at many hostels across India but somehow the environment at Beehive is very friendly and easy going for a solo traveler like myself. It helps that the hostel is not part of any chain and the owners live in the property itself. Hence they care more and are more friendly than lets say: a caretaker at a Zostel. This hostel has an open kitchen where you can cook your own food which is very helpful. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to fellow travelers.

They call it commune for a reason, so you don’t expect anything and they don’t promise you anything. Even cleanliness and hygiene is your own β€˜communal’ responsibility, geddit?! Place is messy and disgusting place for most part, infested to mosquitoes and chain smokers. Many long stay pg type residents, where one of those loud and uncouth characters is given boss duty to supervise the β€˜commune’ for discounted accommodation. Owner is a part timer, a curious character who makes up rules as he goes, acting cool like a hot shot which he is most definitely not.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Beehive Backpackers Hostel and I couldn't be more delighted with my experience. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that guest comfort and safety were top priorities. One aspect that truly stood out was the hostel's commitment to respecting all guests. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment. As a female traveler, I greatly appreciated the emphasis on safety and security, making me feel at ease throughout my stay. Cleanliness was impeccable throughout the hostel. From the dorms to the common areas, everything was consistently well-maintained. It's clear that the management takes pride in offering a hygienic and comfortable space for travelers. The social life at the hostel was vibrant and engaging. Whether it was group outings, themed nights, or just casual hangouts in the common room, there was always something fun happening. This created the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow travelers from around the world and make lasting friendships. Hospitality was exceptional. The staff members were not only friendly and approachable but also genuinely interested in making sure each guest had a memorable stay. They were always available to offer recommendations, answer questions, and assist with any concerns. The presence of well-equipped workstations was a cherry on top. For travelers like me who needed to catch up on work or plan the next leg of the journey, having access to reliable workstations and Wi-Fi was incredibly convenient. In conclusion, my time at the Beehive Hostel exceeded all expectations. The respect for guests, especially female safety, the impeccable cleanliness, the lively social scene, top-notch hospitality, and convenient workstations collectively created an unforgettable stay. I wholeheartedly recommend this hostel to any traveler seeking a home away from home.
