\\Excellent place for a fun, budget day out.\\ [ Entry ticket is Rs.20 per adult (cheaper for kids). Parking was Rs.40 for a car. While there is plenty of parking space, it can get full sometimes during weekends. Weekends are also especially crowded inside the park. The park itself has a lot of attractions to see. However, some of the rides are not maintained very well. There is a toy train ride that is supposed to take you all around the park but it was not functional when we visited (in Oct 2021). The highlight of the park for me was the bonsai garden. I was pleasantly surprised to find such well maintained and beautifully grown bonsai.Great stuff. There aren't too many food options inside the park. There are dozens of vendors selling popcorn and hot chips in packets but not much apart from that. This was a disappointment. ]

The place is extremely good with a fabulous green cover for kids to spend their time out. The bonsai collection is very attractive. The desert garden showcases wide range of dessert plants. The haunted house and underwater 3D is complete waste of money as there is nothing which is scary except that sound is made to appear scary but it actually makes one laugh rather than getting scared. 3D water world is good to look without the 3D glasses. It is better to visit the place during evenings as most of the rides are available only post lunch. During summer, it gets hot during the day so it is wiser to plan the visit during the evening hours. Entry fee is 20 for adults and 10 for kids. But you need to pay separately for every single ride. Please choose wisely the ride your kid likes. Else you end up paying for something which they may not enjoy.

NTR garden is nice place to visit. Good hangout place for adults and kids. Things to note 1. Park in NTR garden parking. There is one more parking called NTR memorial parking. If you park there you have to walk. 2. Entrance adult 20 rs and kid 5 to10 : 10Rs 3. Toy train is not active . There are 3d shows 4. Garden is nice to sit but if it is crowded then expect it to be dirty. 5.boating and giant wheel is at the end of the park right side from entrance. 6. Various games swings are available in the park.

Entry ticket for adults Rs 20. We visited on a weekday evening. There was not much crowd. The place has several rides for all, a toy train too traverses through the Garden. Children would like to be here for longer time and enjoy.

It is one of most famous parks in Hyderabad and famous sightseeing place adjacent to the Hussain Sagar lake. This place has a memorial of the great leader Late N T Rama Rao. It has a small amusement park with some rides which makes it ideal outing for families. The place is lush green, has colorful flowers, and beautiful fountain make it good place to visit. I felt like it a good garden for local family outings and nothing much for the tourists to see. Entry fee is Rs. 20 for adults and Rs. 10 for kids, also Rs. 30/- you have to pay for cam. Also they don't allow backpacks to carry, backpack can be deposited at the entrance by paying Rs. 20/-.

NTR Garden is a tranquil oasis in the heart of the city. The well-maintained pathways, vibrant flowers, and lush greenery create a serene atmosphere. The mesmerizing musical fountain show is a must-see, accompanied by synchronized water movements and captivating lights. Families can enjoy the children's play area and boat rides on the picturesque lake. The garden premises are clean, and the staff is friendly. It's a hidden gem that offers a refreshing escape from the urban chaos. Highly recommended!

The ntr gardenย is beautifully maintained with blooming flowers, shrubs and trees. During spring and summer, it is resplendent with colours. There is a beautiful cascading waterfall installed in the gardens, which attracts quite a lot of traffic during the evenings. Tourists can also check out the visitor's train and the souvenir complex. If you are craving for some food, there is a restaurant within the premises.

It's not fully operational, few activities are stopped due to current crisis. You can roam in the garden, click some photos near fountains. They have got color water fountains, Train setup, Big Fruits placed in the garden and selfie points. The entry ticket is Rs.20, if you want to carry your camera then you need to pay Rs.1000 or else carry smart phone with good camera especially with a good night mode feature.

I visited this place with my family in evening, this place is good for relaxing. There's an entrance fee to this place for adults. Also, there is baggage area so you don't carry any eating stuffs inside and litter around in the park. I Liked the water fountains, there were also different games for kids. Also there was toy train but I believe due to covid it wasn't functional. I tried water slide along with my son, it was fun. My kid loved it. The only disappointment is rest room. It wasn't clean though they charge you. Since the entrance fee already collected, you have to pay again to use rest rooms.

NTR Gardens in Hyderabad offers a serene escape with its well-maintained greenery, walking paths, and vibrant flowers. The memorial plaza adds a touch of history, providing visitors with a glimpse into the life of Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. While the park is enjoyable, occasional maintenance could enhance the overall experience. Overall, it's a pleasant spot for a leisurely stroll and a bit of nature in the heart of the city.

Sorry but I must put this out here..NTR Gardens is a beautiful place and since most of the things are closed now we decided to have a family picnic where we carried our own games..they checked us before we got in but later we were followed by 5 security men asking us questions and causing commotion,we felt so embarrassed since everyone was now looking at us like criminals we decided to leave and they escorted us out like criminals๐Ÿ˜”it was so embarrassing and unnecessary or maybe itโ€™s because we are foreigners(students) they even threatened to call the police just for playing the block game. So disappointing!

In 1999, a land of 5 acres (20,000ย m2) from a 55-acre (220,000ย m2) plot was utilized for erecting a memorial for NTRama Rao, then Chandra Babu Naidu, It was planned to further expand this area, which has since been referred to as NTR Gardens, by constructing a museum about N. T. Rama Rao. This memorial was a part of the Buddha Purnima Project that was being handled byย Hyderabad Urban Development ย (HUDA) for the beautification and development of the Hussain sagar ย lake and its surroundings as a major tourist attraction. In 2000, the GOVERNMENT of Andhra Pradesh has 5ย expressed its plans to develop this area with several projects such the NTR Gardens itself, aย Rock Gardens and a IMAXย theatre.ย Few days later, a government official firstly said that the rock garden will be taken up byย DUBAI-basedย NRI at a cost ofย Rs 27ย corores. Secondly the IMAX theatre project, which was said to cost Rs. 52 crore was allotted to a private firm. Both these projects were to be executed in the same 55-acre (220,000ย m2) plot which housed the memorial.

The place is too beautiful and well maintained. But there are some rides which are no more working. The tree in center is also damaged. But the view is good. And there are a number of awesome plant species. The place is awesome and nice. There is a lot to do here. You can challenge yourself in some awesome rides. And you can wander around with your friends, family, and someone else ๐Ÿฅฐ. But there is a lot of bad smell coming there from Hussain sagar.

Good to visit especially evening & except the fact that for Cameras Rs.1000 is charged, that's way too high & I rated low only for this reason. Officials should review the fee to bring it down to affordable rates & Mobile phones are allowed without any restrictions to take photographs, videos. Ticket costs Rs. 20 for adults & Rs. 10 for children, Garden is well maintained & clean & inside the park, children play area available. Two & four wheeler Parking available & by evening, a wide variety of road side/street food available outside the park.

Good place to spend some time with family, specially kids will love the fountain โ›ฒ and few rides which are not fully functional at the time I visited due to pendemic. Minimal entry fee, Adult: 20 rs and kids (5-10 yrs): 10 rs. You are not allowed to carry your bag pack though clock room is there at 20 rs. You can carry food items, that's allowed. Plus you do have paid parking option so your vehicle will be safe. All n all good place to spend 2-3 hours with family.

I thought going to garden would be fun, but it's too boring. During this pandemic, every ride and haunted house is closed. Grass is not even green. I got really bored after 10mins. For lovers ๐Ÿ’– it may be a good place to go, as you can hide in some places and no one would be there to disturb you.

Itโ€™s a pretty place but it is kinda expensive Entry fee is 20 and 10 for children but legit you gotta pay for every single thing inside The toy train is hit which sucks, and the underwater world is terrible, please donโ€™t go The thrillieum ride isnโ€™t thrilling and the haunted house isnโ€™t scary. My advice would be to not go for either of these The other rides are very fun though, my personal favourite is the Columbus and the water slide Itโ€™s โ‚น80 per person per ride, so to have a good time youโ€™ll need a lot of cash The game stall guys are very mean, and inconsiderate and might even try to dupe you so beware Most of the game stalls suck, and a winning probability is very low Park opens at 12.30 upto 8.30 Bags are allowed inside, and legit no one wears a mask which is so wrong However, itโ€™s very pretty at night, especially near the fountains Just take enough cash and food, and youโ€™ll probably have a good time

It's a beautiful place. Nice garden amongst hush bush city. We went during Monsoons so most of the rides were not functional also water was clogged down the roads. Good place to click pictures and get close to nature. Ride in Toy train was fun. It's not that clean and hygiene is not well maintained but worth a weekend break. Also, we have to walk a bit from the parking place. Their eating kiosks need to be improved.

Entry fee is Rs. 20. Baggage is not allowed inside and has to kept in the locker room. The toy train is not functional, the bhoot bungalow is hilarious and the under water park is a complete waste. Only the Machan Tree ride is exceptional, the rest are below average. The desert section has a wide variety of cactus and other plants and the water fountains look awesome in the dark.

Good place to visit and if you want to spend time. This garden is made by local government and looks it is well maintained. Generally local public is coming to visit here. Inside there is big garden, children play area, some food shops etc are available. Small train is available to visit complete garden and offcourse it is chargeable. You have to buy entry tickets. 20/- rs per person... From this garden you can see the statue of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and newly constructed government office. Both looks awesome.. Overall average experience...

NTR Gardens is a small public, urban park of 36 acres (0.15 km2; 0.056 sq mi) adjacent to Hussain Sagar lake in Hyderabad, India. Constructed in several phases since 1999, the area that is predominantly a park is geographically located in the centre of the city, and is close to other tourist attractions such as Birla Mandir, Necklace Road and Lumbini Park. It maintained by the Buddha Purnima Project Authority that functions under the directives of the Government of Telangana. In 1999, a land of 5 acres (20,000 m2) from a 55-acre (220,000 m2) plot was utilized for erecting a memorial for N. T. Rama Rao, the former Chief Minister of unbifurcated Andhra Pradesh. It was inaugurated by N. Chandrababu Naidu. It was planned to further expand this area, which has since been referred to as NTR Gardens, by constructing a museum about N. T. Rama Rao. This memorial was a part of the Buddha Purnima Project that was being handled by Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA) for the beautification and development of the Hussain Sagar lake and its surroundings as a major tourist attraction. In 2000, the Government of Andhra Pradesh expressed its plans to develop this area with several projects such the NTR Gardens itself, a rock garden and an IMAX theatre. Few days later, a government official firstly said that the rock garden will be taken up by Dubai-based NRIs at a cost of Rs. 27 crores. Secondly the IMAX theatre project, which was said to cost Rs. 52 crore was allotted to a private firm. Both these projects were to be executed in the same 55-acre (220,000 m2) plot which housed the memorial.

Nice park for kids. Elders can't enjoy much. Now food court is removed. Popularity going less day by day. Just 1st time visit is fine.is place was not that great. I had great expectations from this place. However, it turned out to be just boating and a few rides. We couldn't even watch the laser show because there was some technical problem. The place is really clean though. Entry price is 20 rupees per adult and one needs to take cloak room service if they intend to enter park. Bags, helmets are not allowed inside the park. Boating charges are as follows - the public boat costs 65 rupees, fast boat is 350 rupees and a private family boat is 700 rupees.

It was good in earlier days but now the glory is fading. There is nothing much to do. Itโ€™s good for kids. The place is now not that great. They have not maintained it well. It doesnโ€™t feel like family park, you can see lot of couples goofing around in indecent manner. The garden has lost its beauty. If you will not visit you will not miss much.

    1. NTR garden is one of the best places to be in Hyderabad. Infact much better than Hussain sagar and Charminar. 2. You can spend time with family, friends or partner here. You can take so many photos. 3. If you have kids then this is a must visit place. The way they have maintained the garden in terms of cleanliness is commendable. So overall it's a very nice place. So prefer visiting here after 4 pm, then you can enjoy the weather, greenery and the water fountains.

Went with family on a week day evening, during pandemic no games were available here. Only park area and play area is accessible as of now. In the evening time colorful waterfalls will attract the people and kids especially. U can see lovers and couples underneath every tree and also hidden spots in the park which is quite inconvenient to the family with kids. And also in the evening time NTR park staff will water the grass, this becomes wet and you cannot feel that you are in garden. And request not to buy any Chinese toys of cheap quality which sold over there.

  • 2/5 Ananth K R. 3 years ago on Google
NTR Gardens used to be a swanky park about two decades ago. Despite charging an entry fee, this place is now wearing a dilapidated look. Shows lack of intent and imagination on the part of the Telangana/AP Governments to continuously maintain, repair and replace rusting parts. Hope with the COVID pandemic drawing to an end, the park, (keeping aside political affiliations) , gets its due attention. Apart from the name of NTR, there's no photo gallery or any such thing to keep the "MEMORY" of NTR alive.

Deemed as one of most expensive gardens in India, the NTR Garden is a popular attraction of the city of Hyderabad. Sprawling across an area of 55 acres, it houses the memorial of the great leader of Andhra Pradesh, Late N T Rama Rao. The park was created by the Government of Andhra Pradesh with a lavish budget of 40 crores, in order to honor the respectable leader. Today, NTR Garden is not only one of the most beautiful locations of Hyderabad, but is also regarded as an attractive leisure and entertainment centre. Located near the famous Hussain Sagar Lake, the park serves as a quick getaway from the cumbersome activities of the city life. The colourful flowers, trees, shrubs and plants in the park make the setting even more attractive for the visitors who relish the profound beauty of this place. Apart from a serene atmosphere, the park also offers a variety of recreational activities to keep the visitors entertained. Some of the interesting facilities of this place include a Machan Tree, a Car Cafe, and a play area for children, Japanese Park. There are also some souvenir shops and several food joints in this place. Though the offerings of the NTR Garden are boundless, the major attractions of this place include a mono rail that runs as a joy-ride across the park, a cascading waterfall that lures the visitors and the boating facilities to venture into the adjoining Hussain Sagar Lake. The food offered at the various restaurants also needs a special mention. The resplendent greenery of the park makes the environment excessively fresh and relaxing. A place which started off as a memorial has now turned into a popular amusement park that is crowded with visitors all through the day.

Very entertaining place for all family members. Very huge park having many fountains and fun rides for children as well as adults. Boat riding for children is a very unique ride. Canteen is a bit disappointing as you don't find many options to eat and they don't allow outside food as well. Train trip isn't started yet post pandemic. You can enjoy Good tea or coffee from outside vendors. Overall a good outing place for family.

It is a public park adjacent toย Hussain Sagarย lake inย Hyderabad. The park inhabits beautiful landscapes including several native and exotic plant species. The architectural marvel's include different insect and fruit shaped structures Specialized segments include Bonsai and desert plants with several small walking trails. It is a great place for family visit for weekend visits as it also entails amusement rides along with few good eateries.

Suddenly I visited here with my friends here to take a look at the laser light show.. But that was my first visit there. we were disappointed that the show was stopped due to Covid. there is a huge crowd at the entrance ,even the a security check to every one. NO plastic bags, any chewing things inside. to enter the main garden one must pay each of 60rupees.then we left the place and visited Paradise.

Good place to visit in Hyderabad apart from the concrete jungle. There are many new things are added and the combo train ticket is new one among them. It includes 3 additional entries to utilise for entries. Water show along with lights is very nice and KIDS will enjoy for sure.

Nice Park. nice place to visit on weekends, chill out with friends and family members. All types of activities available, mainly kids activities are superb.. Tank bund area must and should visited Park. Entry fee is 20Rs for Adults . Park close timing is 8.30 to 9Pm.

Overall good and very well maintained garsen. Kids will like the place with toy train, boating, rides, games, entry ticket is reasonable 20/- for adults, 15/- for children. But the cost for every ride, games are quite expensive like 50 each for everything and for very short duration of play. Week end is too much of crowded, suggest to visit week days, well maintained. Will take at least 3 hrs to cover entire park, pleasure for kids, pressure for parents as purely commercial place.

It is nice place to visit once in a while. It is like a mini version of Mysore Brindhavan garden. Best to visit at night with the light view. The only bad part is the canteen there. They sell all the products double the amount from the actual MRP. I wish the government could take some action regarding this, it is like making a tribute to Sir NT. Rama Rao.

I visited the NTR Garden in Hyderabad and was pleasantly surprised by its serene and well-maintained ambiance. The lush greenery, colorful flowers, and impressive fountain created a tranquil environment that's perfect for a leisurely stroll or a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The garden's layout is thoughtfully designed, offering a variety of pathways to explore and relax. While I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, I deducted one star due to some areas that seemed slightly less maintained. Overall, NTR Garden is a delightful spot to unwind and immerse oneself in nature's beauty.

It was a peaceful place for love birds... The views of secretariat are good from this garden. A nice place to chill with your friends for relaxing and you can click pictures with a good background.. There is no entry ticket for entering in to the gardens. And u have to pay fee for parking and shoe stand.

Nice place ๐Ÿ‘Œ. 10 rs for kid and 20 rs for others entry fees. Train is not functions now. Lot of things to explore specially for kids and weekend masti. Go with foods mostly dry one. Inside it also foods are available. Hunter's house was amazing but underwater was fake.

Ticket prices are 20 per head for adults, and there is no ticket for children below 5 years. Good to see this area in the evening time from 4PM to 7PM. Perfect for kids to play, But the cost for each game is 80/- per child for 10min. This price is very high compared to Wonderla Ocean Park. There we are taking one ticket for all kinds of water and non water games.
