"Around the village " is a B&B kind of place based on a village theme. Three hours drive from Hyderabad led us to this place which oozes rustic old world charm. It's about 35 kms from Bidar....In a village called Nittur.... The place is owned by Sandeep and his family And both he and his staff were constantly in touch with us and ensured we reached the location correctly. After traveling a small patch of bumpy village road, we reached the farm house and were given a warm traditional welcome....we spent the next day exploring the farms around and saw crops of Green gram, soya beans and Toor dal growing there. My son had fun watching the cows and chicken on the farm.....we also saw peacocks in the wild..... A fun bullock cart ride was the highlight of the visit....The accommodation they provide is very basic and a part of the whole village like experience. But lastly and most importantly the food they serve here is simply yummilicious. If you are a fan of home made simple yet tasty food, this is the place to be.....the food is cooked on a wood fired stove by Ambadas's wife Kavitha and his mother..... It's a delicious vegetarian spread complete with dal, bhakri, chutney, pickle, curd and fresh vegetables harvested from the surrounding farms.....don't miss the refreshing herbal tea they serve. All in all it was a fun 2 nights stay, far away from the maddening city life. All you hear is the birds chirping and the fresh air sweeping by. Sandeep and his man Friday i.e. Ambadas made this stay refreshing and worthwhile.

This place is a hidden gem. We were looking for a really peaceful place not commercial but something homely. The stay here is unmatched. Right from the traditional visit to the farm fresh, traditonal home cooked food. Veggie meals were superb. And Mr Sandeep and his team really take the time out to know their guests. I strongly recommend this place If you want to get away from city noise and want to drench yourself in a peaceful, beautiful place with flowers and veggies, simple yet delicious home cooked meals and wonderful human beings . We would love to come back for more. The Bullock cart rides and exploring the little farm is a journey in itself. Blissful soul food and good people to be with. The food is so light, and each flavor stands out. We also explored the river nearby thats s nice place too.If you want to really get disconnected from city life this is ur place. When u leave you may feel like a summer vacation ending but then you also know you are going to come back soon with more friends and fam.

It's a lovely place to get away from hustle and bustle of the city. Really appreciate Chandrakant and his wife for their hospitality. Food was delicious. Overall a good place to go out for a weekend outing with family.

My parents and I visited with our pet dog. We had a lovely time experiencing farm life. Our dog loved roaming around and exploring the space. The activities planned during the day were fun. I enjoyed the bullock cart ride and the bonfire a lot. The food was tasty and we were taken care well by Sandeep and his team. I had a nice conversation with Sandeep regarding the running of a farm and it's challenges. It was a pleasant relaxing stay, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
