Visiting after almost 30 years. Actually went to visit the Telangana State Archaeological Museum. Most of the trees, except the evergreen ones, are shedding their leaves. The lawns were clean and green. A few families were enjoying some time out on the weekend with picnic baskets. Most of the flower beds are being prepared. June-July would be a good time to visit, after the rains. Many flowers will be in bloom, and the lake will be full.

This is good park visited with family and many times with friends. Great ambiance and awesome environment, anyone can gather and can spend good quality time with their loved ones. It has been opened many years ago. Better to go in the morning and can spend all the time and can have parking facilities also and safety counters and many more to do.

The Landscaping is definitely a therapist here for nature lovers, We must thank and send our blessings on HEH The Nizams of Great Hyderabad State for building such parks & assemblies way before even it was a norm. They always tried to develop the nation and that’s the reason Hyderabad State was ahead of its tome when compared with India. A morning walk or exercise in this park will make you feel refreshed and energetic. It also has play grounds for playing some games. It also has a lake in the centre of the park. The green trees and bushes in the park feel like a little forest and can get fresh air oxygen for a healthy body. The park is very quiet and beautiful, you can enjoy the early morning times very enthusiastically. A must visit if possible daily early morning to feel refreshed and energised.

Baagh e aam this was made by nizam of Hyderabad as a small zoo with animal cages which had a big area converted to garden lawns small boating lake and hence it is known as public gardens since its inception Andhra government occupied some area from it slowly area is being grabbed by different state government departments and public is being deprived of a beautiful garden still the space inside it is peaceful as it borders railway station all along it's backbone now criminal court is also housed in this garden secnic place

One of the best lung space for health enthusiasts and morning walkers. Public Gardens remained under British Residency till the time of last Nizam and were taken care properly. But the current state says very differently, the beautiful pond is left to rot with less or no water, few rusty boats tells a beautiful past of the pond. The rest of the area is well maintained by the 'malis'.

Best place for walking/Jogging for me because it's close to my home..public garden is huge and has a lake, it's a peaceful place specially in early morning...the only down fall is the dogs at the park who make the park dirty, you know what i mean...i think they should remove the dogs so people can walk without fear..

In Public Gardens few places attached to this place.. Lalitha kalathoranum, Bal bhavan, State Museum, India Priyadarshini auditorium, etc.. for cultural program & official Events we can use this places... Even for Daily morning walkers it's free of cost.

Behtareen jagah for doing walking, jogging or playing, best place for walking with family no pollution only zabardast fresh fresh air, if you are disturbed running with noise pollution then don't worry come here and walk around you will feel healthy, you can even get your kids in the morning before school you will jog around and they will play the games, it's really peaceful here, this place is open till evening 7pm, so don't worry just come and walk without hesitating....

In public gardens there is an Egyptian mummy it is the main thing you should see in the public gardens. There is a museum in which you can see bronze gallery , there is a kakatiya chariot of 17th century which is the best thing to see in public gardens. My suggestion is to come with friends don't come with parents because you have to walk some distance which old people can't walk

Surprised to see a nice place for public without even an entry fee. There are some well rooted big trees. If we go at a time when it is less crowded, we will enjoy it well.

A peaceful place in the middle of the old city...Slide away from chaos and have a good time here with friends and family. It's quite big in terms of area and has a ground and a beautiful lake. It also has lots of trees and plants. Arrange your food while coming here because only icecream is available in the park.

It's a lovely place for children's, it has lush green gardens, huge trees all around. It has a museum too and a Egyptian mummy is here on exhibit. Holy quran hand written by the great emperor Aurangzeb in his beautiful writing is displayed here. And there are many other things to see here.

Lot of couples, groups. You might get some strange looks from guys. Lake isn't that clean, has lot of plastic bottles and trash.

Perhaps lost its glory ...once upon a time public garden nursery was the best among govt sponsor unit. They had good collection of adenium plants (dessert rose) nd lots more. I took this plan during 2009 from public garden nursery. Good place for morning walk or evening loitering with friends. You can still spot some very old trees bearing glory.

The public gardens is best past time for kids and families. There is no entry fee, but you need to pay 10rs for vehicle parking collected by GHMC. Inside of it you will find huge play area for kids, lush green gardens, varities of wild trees and plenty of bird species and squirrels other pets. If you are a history geek the you definitely have to visit the Nizams museum the ancient Egyptian mummy is worth visiting.

A historic place built by the Nizam of Hyderabad. It was known as Baghdad e aam. Public gardens. The maintenance is excellent and suitable for families. Safe and secure for all. However, some groups are spoilers of otherwise serene atmosphere. They are laughing and clapping and claiming it’s Yoga. Authorities should put a stop to this nonsense and let the people walk and enjoy the much needed silence and peace.

Good but not really the best place for working. Since it's govt managed and free for public, one cannot expect it to be clean and well maintained. Giving it a 4 as the central lawn which is open from 5 AM to 9 AM is beautiful and nice for yoga and walking on the grass barefoot.
