👍 A very excellent place of peace and greenery and old architecture The tomb was built in 1543 A.D. by the Sultan, during his lifetime, as was the custom. Near the tomb of Sultan Quli is that of his son, Jamsheed, the second in the line of Qutb Shahi sultans. A place which is over 400 yrs old. Silent but speaks volume of the glorious past. The stories of a bygone era when being pompous was not looked down upon. Even death was glorified and architecture created to tell the coming generations of the past.well preserved!!!

The tombs exhibit impeccable maintenance, creating a serene atmosphere at Seven Tombs in Hyderabad. The architectural brilliance on display is truly remarkable, and credit is due to the Aga Khan Foundation for their commendable efforts in restoring these ancient monuments. Surrounding the tombs, the well-kept lawn provides a tranquil space, inviting visitors to spend moments of peace and reflection. The cleanliness of the area enhances the overall experience, allowing individuals to immerse themselves in the historical ambiance. A noteworthy feature is the museum on the premises, offering a detailed narrative of the Quli Dynasty's history. Visitors can delve into the rich historical context, gaining a deeper understanding of the dynasty that shaped the region. What sets this experience apart is the inclusive policy allowing access inside the tombs for all visitors. This openness provides a unique and immersive encounter, allowing people to appreciate the intricacies of the architecture from an up-close perspective. Overall, the visit offers a harmonious blend of historical exploration, tranquility, and a chance for a reflective escape within the splendid surroundings of Seven Tombs.

The tombs are very well maintained and the area is very peaceful. The architecture is amazing and the aga khan foundation is doing a great job in restoring such ancient monuments. The lawn area around the tombs is very neat and clean and one can spend some time there for peace for mind. There is also a museum depicting history of the quli dynasty which one can read in detail. Visiting inside the tombs is also allowed to all people which makes it a different level of experience.

Excellent place for spending time with family. Beautiful architecture. It's a huge area and not much crowded. We went on weekend and it was quite peaceful. You have ample of parking place. You need to walk a lot so may not be possible to cover the entire area in one go. But it's a must visit. The place is maintained by Aga Khan Trust and they have done an excellent job in maintaining it well. Food is allowed inside and you have lot of place to sit and eat. Tour guides are also available if you need someone to explain the history. They charge around 650 for half tour and 1000 for full tour. That's what they said. The place is being renovated for UNESCO heritage site. They have well maintained restrooms as well. No food court or Shop is there so pack your own food. And do go before 11 AM as it will take 3-4 hours if you are going to explore it completely.

Nestled amidst serene surroundings, the 7 Tombs offers a mesmerizing journey into the past, unveiling the rich cultural heritage and architectural marvels of bygone eras. I am thrilled to share my extraordinary experience at this remarkable place. The 7 Tombs is an architectural marvel that stands as a testament to the opulence and grandeur of the past. The intricate designs, meticulous carvings, and imposing structures of the tombs are a sight to behold. Each tomb tells a story of its own, evoking a sense of wonder and curiosity about the lives and legacies of those interred within. It was and still remains to be a special monument place. Very happy to see such places are being maintained by the Aga Khan trust. Hope such maintainence is being continued. Its not very big but still beautiful. History behind it is more beautiful and interesting. There are guides also available to guide you.

Absolutely under rated and must visit. The government has restored it beautifully and it's so clean and well maintained. It's massive and took 2 hours to visit. It has many more than 7 Tombs and a museum is built inside showcasing history of each tomb and the map and how restoration took place with beautiful pictures displayed. Absolutely a peaceful place and less crowded..making the whole experience worthwhile. The entry for adult was Rs. 10 and mobile camera charges were 50 rs. A stepwell is also inside along with Tombs. Big packet of popcorn also being sold inside for only rs. 20. Carry your cap and water. Washroom and drinking water facility is also there inside. Overall must recommended to visit with good amount of time in hand.

A stunning place filled with history and magnificent architecture. The best visiting hours are during sunset. Just be weary of unwelcomed tour guides who will take you by surprise and ultimately expect money from you.

The Qutub Shahi Tombs are located in the Ibrahim Bagh (garden precinct), close to the famous Golconda Fort in Hyderabad, India. They contain the tombs and mosques built by the various kings of the Qutub Shahi dynasty. The galleries of the smaller tombs are of a single storey while the larger ones are two storied. In the centre of each tomb is a sarcophagus which overlies the actual burial vault in a crypt below. The domes were originally overlaid with blue and green tiles, of which only a few pieces now remain. The complex was put by UNESCO on its "tentative list" to become a World Heritage Site in 2014, with others in the region, under the name Monuments and Forts of the Deccan Sultanate (despite there being a number of different sultanates). The city of Nawabs have a great history and there are many things to see that give an idea about the lives of the kings that ruled the beautiful city of Hyderabad. The Qutb Shahi Heritage Park is one such place that gives us a glimpse of the royalty of the kings of Hyderabad. Well, we know that tombs are the place where the dead are buried, and looking at the beauty of these tombs I wonder how royal their lives were if they could build something like this for the dead. The tombs at heritage park are an excellent piece of architecture. There are a total of 7 tombs and a mosque inside the Heritage Park. The tombs belong to Qutb Shahi rulers. What makes it more interesting is that it hosts the tomb of Muhammad Quli Shah who laid the foundation of Hyderabad. ✍️✍️✍️Now at present they are planting trees and repairing gardens, laying tracks for walking and renovating the tombs ,Now the look of the place was totally different and beautiful and you can spend half day looking the tombs and place you can bring food to eat under trees and they built little museum to know the history of nawabs and the PRICE was only 10rs , for Indians and for foreigners the ticket price was 50rs,and vehicles parking for two wheelers are 10rs. Only cash payments are available.

It houses seven tombs dedicated to the former kings of Golconda. The tombs are dome like structures built on a square base. This is again surrounded by pointed arches.

It's one of the best historical monument. Needs to improve like other countries do. The entrance road is not maintained well. Govt needs to focus a lot to preserve such monuments. Public and birds are spoiling the monuments. Need more security people around.

Qutb Shahi Tombs - The largest necropolis of Deccan India that was built by the Qutb Shahi Sultans ! These are just next to the Golkonda Fort in Hyderabad. Seven tombs for seven Sultans but one remained unfinished. It was a practice amongst the Qutb Shahi Sultans to build their tombs while they lived. But the last Sultan couldn't complete and his kingdom was conquered by the Mughal emperor Aurungzeb ! The Mughal emperor offered his prayers at a small mosque inside the tomb complex which stands till date. Besides the seven tombs there are several other tombs of queens and other royal family members.
